What a disaster. Deals are good but worth the headache? No. So we purchased a fridge and set the delivery date for Saturday. We were told we would get a phone call the day before (Friday) about expected delivery time. Friday evening comes around, no call. So we call, they said they don't deliver on Saturdays and the sales guy made a mistake. They then scheduled the delivery for Monday. Said we would get a call Monday morning. Monday morning comes.... 11am, no call. We call the store. They say delivery between 11 and 2. 2pm comes, nothing. We call. Delivery between 5pm and 6pm. So here's a whole day of work I missed because I was expecting my fridge all day. Get a call back, fridge we picked out is defective, so they will give us the same fridge just different location of scratch.... how are we now just finding out about this? Just before delivery? When the first guy we spoke to in the morning said fridge was on delivery truck. Very disorganized, very sketchy. Will never buy another product from them again. read more

We decided to purchase a new refrigerator and saw they had some decent prices. After waffling about whether or not we wanted one of their out of box items, we ended up ordering it anyway. When we filled out the paperwork for delivery, and spoke with the guy on the floor about the delivery and set up, we were told that it was going to be $80. Because it was an out of box item, I asked if they would level the doors (the fridge we chose had the doors uneven, just needed to be taken off and put back on correctly. No problem. The salesman said they always take the doors off when they deliver and that they'll be put on right in the house. We said not a problem. Delivery man showed up today and charged us $10 because he had to take the doors off and put them back on. $10 isn't really a problem with the overall purchase price of a new refrigerator but it's the principle of it all. Don't tack on hidden fees that we were told were included. I dislike tactics like this and I'm not comfortable doing business with them again. read more

Appliance Direct should not even be in business and it is crazy Whirpool allows them to be a dealer. We bought what we thought a brand new Whirpool refrigerator, it comes with a dent in it and they have the delivery guy say that he hit it into something to take blame from them. They tell you Whirlpool has a cosmetic defect warranty, Whirlpool said they don't. Then they have the delivery guy offer you a $50 gift card to try to make you go away. They are all liars at this place, they sell scratch & dent items at brand new prices and they sell as new. The manager of the store doesn't return any e-mails or calls. They just want you to accept a damaged appliance. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! read more

Ordered and paid for an appliance. The appliance was supposed to be delivered. Appliance never showed up. I called the store only to be told that the appliance won't come for several more days. No Customer Service! If I wouldn't have called they were not going to call me. I took off work to be available for delivery. if I could give them a score of less than one star I would very disappointed. A friend and I walked into Appliance Direct as they opened this past Sunday and were greeted by Greg. Once he was told of the item we were looking for he quickly located it from the rear warehouse. Even though he was the sole employee working he did not rush the sale, instead encouraging us to inspect the item before completing the purchase. When the invoicing was finished he helped us load the item into our vehicle and was helpful with suggesting we visit the dollar store in the plaza for $1 clothesline to secure the purchase. read more

I purchased a new washing machine on November 29th. The deal was a little better than Lowe's, but then they sprung the $50 delivery fee on me. That made the deal worse than Lowe's but then the salesman said they would haul away additional appliances for no additional charge. I have a non-working upright freezer that I would like to have hauled away so I figured what the heck, that might be worth a little more so I completed the transaction. When they delivered the new washer, they took the old washer away but said they didn't have room on the truck to take the freezer. Plus they wanted an additional $15 to take the freezer. I asked them to come back later in the day once they made room by making some deliveries. They said they would but didn't. So I had to call the store to ask them to reschedule the delivery people to come get the freezer. The manager argued with me and said I would need to pay another $50 fee. I left a message for the salesman to call me but he never returned my calls (four times over the next month.) But with persistence, I called him back and each time he said he would take care of it. He never did. Today is January 14th and they still haven't come to get the freezer. I will never do business with this company again and I strongly recommend you avoid them as well. If you choose to ignore my advice, at least be sure to add in the cost of delivery when comparing deals. For example, Lowe's doesn't charge for delivery for many of their appliances and when they do, it's only $30 and that includes new metal hoses for the washing machine. And don't trust anything employees of Appliance Direct tell you. read more

Bought a stackable washer and dryer from them, have bought From them before. The installation people Robel didn't hook it up correctly so my tenant could only get hot water. I don't mind the $80.00 delivery as they said they came back and it was hooked up right. Not true. Didn't come back at all until one week later a man from Whirlpool came, or that's who they said we had to wait for. They didn't check it before they left the first time. It wasnt a great price but a lot of hassle ! Phone calls to store did nothing with Craig , Ron. Etc. they said someone coming the next day to check it out. No one came. Big mess read more

We bought a complete appliance package on 3-16-2020. Was told it was brand new and it was in plastic (not box). Got it home and it had NO bottom freezer door handle. Called ever since and got nothing but the runaround. The owner, Sam Pak was said not to have a contact number. It is (321) 693-2911. That's his cell. Don Albright was the salesman and he is a liar and hangs up on people that dont buy his stories. Said it would be september until he could get one. Clearly, these people have bought China made *^$$88 at a discount, knowing they were defective to take advantage of people in a crisis situation. If there was a 0 star that would be my rating. I purchased a Maytag, less than 30 days old it no longer filled with water. I called for repair and 1 week later repair man shows up ran diagnostics said he fixed it the next day only 1 wash worked the next back to original problems called to reschedule appointment they said it would be 2 weeks but the repair company Fields worked with me to come a little quicker (thank you) the man explained problems and parts were on back order it would be a month before the parts come in. I called Appliance Direct who stated there was nothing they would do to assist me in anything I just had to wait and get it fixed. I don't typically do reviews but I work for a living, my money is valuable and taking multiple days off to wait for repair technician is not productive, point is Appliance Direct sold me a washer that doesn't work and they don't care and will do nothing about it. We were in the process of looking for new kitchen appliances and stopped by the Appliance Direct Port Orange store. We were promptly greeted by Raymond who was an absolute joy to work with. He listened to what we were looking for, didn't try to oversell us on upgraded features we wouldn't use, and his sales demeanor was exactly what we were looking for. At the time we were just looking but after about 5 weeks went back to the store and he remembered us and we completed the transaction with Raymond after checking out various other stores. If nothing else everyone should stop by this store that is looking for appliances and see Raymond if you want a no nonsense, sales professional to help you determine what you really want and need. Even though the store manager that was there was unfriendly and could care less, Raymond more than made up for that. We ended up buying a Whirlpool package and I'm sure we will be very happy with our decision. If not, I have no doubt Raymond will be there to assist us. Well let me start by saying the selection is very very very limited, if your looking for Whirlpool you will find it here. Im not saying its all they have there, but it seems like it. si they have "blems" and "scratch and dent" But before you get to excited.....The prices are very very close fir both. So a blem is something that did not get damaged but is not perfect. A " scratch and dent" is probably that exactly and probably scratched to hell and dented like a 73 pinto. So......I bought a Blem (because my mom had a pinto and no thanks.) So the delivery does cost, it cost me around 60.00 But it doesnt end there, if you dont have a Huge opening in your house (nobody does) you will have to pay for them to remove the doors That will be 15.00 additional dollars. per fridge so if you have to take doors of a fridge you have in your house thats 30.00 more. so now you are at 90.00 tack that onto the price of the fridge. But i am sure they can find other things to charge you for and they will im sure. Also they do not "strip" the fridge so this means they drop it plug it in and say good luck. So im not saying it is a bad thing but it seems kinda a bad way to operate. So just be prepared when you buy from here. I dont know if i would consider them in the future for anything else, but i was somewhat satisfied with the fridge i purchased. Hopefully it works. read more

We purchased the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer. If you have time to wait it out you can get a very good deal. Don't count on the initial date they give you; and insist on getting your appliance in the manufacturer's factory-sealed box in order to avoid getting a "scratch and dent" item. I did not realize the store called and left a message the evening before the delivery. I called the next morning to cancel the order, and Rob, the store manager, told me I was a great example for the white race and hung up on me. The sale was saved by the installer, Juan, who is independent of AD. Too bad Juan doesn't work for AD. He was truly professional. I would never deal again with Rob, who has no idea of how to treat customers. read more
