When my kitchen range started acting up, I was not sure who to contact as I did not have an appliance repair company that I knew. If I can give 0 stars I would. Unfortunately, I gave my mom this number to contact for a repair. After reading all the reviews, I was hoping it would work out well. However, contrary to my belief, the gentleman she spoke to, was very unprofessional and rude to her. As a first time home owner, sometimes it seems like every household decision has the potential to cause massive amounts of anxiety. I couldn't be happier that I read Rolando's previous reviews and that I called him. He picked up while he was at the bank, which let me know that he was willing to be available for his customers whenever they were in need. He fit me into his schedule the same day I called and walked me through the process. I had a broken water drain pump, so he showed me the pump, explained my options, and even reminded me to get a fan to dry the area so I would not get mold. It is to difficult to find repair men. Reading the reviews can also be contradictory. Our fridge had been complaining for quite a while, then I noticed it was not cooling as well, then there was water where there should not be water. Yes, I read the reviews and I chose this company. Rolando was great. Came the next day, just when he said he would - how so un-Miami! He knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it. And no more complaints or unwanted water in the fridge. My Whirlpool washer broke this past Sunday. I saw the other positive yelp reviews for this company and decided to call. It is now Monday at 2 p.m. and my washer is fixed! The repairman, Rolando, is a very nice guy who is working for his father's company. He called me today when he was on his way to my apartment and was finished with my washer within an hour. He asked a number of questions on Sunday to prepare to fix my washer, promptly showed up at the time he said he would be there, and explained the problem along with tips to avoid future problems. He also gave a 90-day warranty on his work. The only two drawbacks were that: (1) the company does not accept credit cards; and (2) when Rolando first answered the phone, he answered rather informally, so I was a little worried that I had not called an actual business. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I spoke with the service guy Who didn't even give me his name when we spoke on the phone. He was not very nice since the beginning but he offered to come to the rental property where I had the repair issue. He told me to text him the address and the time that I would like the service and that he would come and charge $85 to just take a look and I was going to take the risk. I got to the property at 9:50 because I told him that I would be there at 10 in the morning. 10 AM came around and he was nowhere to be found, so I called him at 10:15 and he said he was on his way. I waited a little longer thinking that he would be there soon, turns out he did not show up. It was 10:55 when I called him and he said he was almost there, however I had driven from very far to meet him at the property and he had me waiting for a whole hour. At that point I was very displeased with the service, and I called him and He said he was nearby however I told him not to bother because I had somewhere to be at 11:30. He did not even apologize, he literally just hung up the phone on me. SO RUDE. I would NEVER recommend this business. read more

This is my second use of this company and they are great. A couple of months ago my washer/dryer combo broke and Rolando came out on a Saturday and fixed it. A few months later my refrigerator broke and again, Rolando came out on a Saturday to fix it. Each time appliances were back online after about an hour of work. What I really liked is that before Rolando came to my house, he asked me for the appliance model number over the phone and thus he showed up with the most likely needed parts for the appliance. My washer was getting stuck mid-wash so I needed a repair. Rolando immediately proved his knowledge because he asked for the error code and the brand and when I responded he said I hd to have the brand wrong because the code I gave is for another brand. He was right, I had written down the brand wrong. He then came out and in a couple of hours repaired the washer. He had all sorts of spare parts available so he was able to fix it on the spot. He then asked if I had a line heater and suggested it was set too hot and it was hurting the washer. Sure enough I have a line heater that was ser to max. He helped me turn it down to where its still hot but not scalding. He seems to definitely know his machines. Will call again for other repairs! read more

Well 30 cents is what it took to break my washer. Not knowing what to do I turned to yelp to help me look for a service repair company especially that my laundry was pilling up. Well I found this company and I found Rolando. Glad to know I met some one honest and has know how. He asked me questions before coming out so he could make sure he had the right part. He got here was on time and very professional he replaced the water pump on my washer and cleaned up after himself. He had a fair price and worked rather quickly. ROLANDO came to look at my SubZero, which had fallen. After contacting SubZero directly a real certified SubZero mechanic to come out, after ROLANDO's visit, it was determined that the doors needed to be replaced. However, ROLANDO came, looked, didn't do any diagnosis or home work to see what parts were needed for the repair, although he did take my $95.00 "service call fee" and never called again. I followed up on several occasions, and he initially told me that "the SubZero people would not respond to him" and then he simply stopped answering my calls. I guess you get what you pay for when calling an 8th street, Hialeah, fix-it man. Maybe he is simply not sophisticated enough to handle high end products. Maybe he only knows how to fix a broken American Girl refrigerator, at best. Oh well Rolando, I hope that $95 serves you well and buys you the Christmas present you have been waiting dearly for. For everyone else who calls this fraudster, make you don't pay him anything until he at least gives you a full diagnosis of your problem - or better yet, don't call him at all. CROOK! read more

During our phone call, he walked me through a diagnosis of my refrigerator so he was able to come with the required part.
