On Yelp, I requested service to repair a refrigerator. Josh replied quickly and asked for a description of the problem, which I provided. He said that he could look at the refrigerator the next day and provided a two-hour service time window when he would be available. The next day, Josh sent a text informing me when he would arrive. When he arrived, he considerately put coverings over his shoes to protect our floors. After asking some questions, he went directly to work evaluating and correctly diagnosing why the refrigerator was not working. He had all the necessary tools with him and solved the problem in less than an hour. In the end, the refrigerator was cooling again, and my husband and I understood how to avoid the problem again, which is valuable information. It is a great relief to find an honest, highly competent repair professional who charges a reasonable rate and explains problems clearly. As other reviewers posted, Josh is very responsive. Our LG gas range had intermittent oven firing issues and we need a reliable oven for holiday baking. Contacted Josh via on line message Monday. He replied promptly and we scheduled service for Wednesday morning! Josh gave a service time window and updated it when he was on his way. When he arrived, got to work immediately by diagnosing the problem as a failing igniter. He had a replacement ready, installed and tested it. Arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem with my chest freezer (dead compressor), and suggested which brands to avoid and which ones to consider as replacements. As a result, three days after noticing that our freezer wasn't working, I had a replacement cooling down in the garage with some of the food already being re-frozen (breads, etc). A friend recommended this company to me---I found it under "Repairs by Josh". I called him on a Friday afternoon as my dryer was giving me problems--had to leave him a voice mail. Josh called within the hour---I explained the problem---he scheduled me an appointment for Monday a.m. He showed up within the time frame he gave---quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and was on his way. I was impressed with how quickly he was able to fit me in---how quickly he diagnosed and repaired the problem, and his prices are reasonable. I will ABSOLUTELY call Josh again when I need an appliance repairman! (OOOPS. As I re-read this review this morning that I posted last night, I see that it has me listed as being from California.
