We had a major water leak in our basement that was coming from our water heater. Vredevoogd…read moreplumbers came right out and were able to indentify the problem came from too much pressure from the main water line. They added a pressure relief tank and turn the heat down on the tank. They even cleaned up the mess they didn't make! These guys were so fast and professional. I can't say enough about their level of service, and speed to take care of our issue. The price was fair I blieve given the situation. It was around $850 to fix an issue that probably would have cost us thousands had they not fixed it.

We've now soon after had an issue with our water heater and called another company and when they looked at the furnace to check it said it is incredibly broken and dangerously so. The components that are broken should have been spotted by vredevoogd when they looked at it and it has been leaking carbon monoxide into our home since. Although the person was kind I cannot recommend them for missing something so crucial and leaving us with a dangerous situation.

When I scheduled the appt for quote, the scheduler never stated there would be a fee. The service tech whop came and gave the quote never stated anything about a quote fee. A month later I got a "quote bill" for $75. I would have gladly and expected to pay for a quote but not a back handed quote. A quote that I was never given when I scheduled the appt, a quote price never given by tech who came. A bill just showed up a month later. I AM NOT PAYING IT. Bad business practices. Not my fault your scheduler and tech never quoted me. Teach your employees better.

We had a mini-split in our previous house, and were very impressed with it's efficiency. The electric bills were not excessive, and it kept our house really warm. After getting several bids, we selected Lamphear Service Company (from the Grand Rapids area) to install it. Their price was amazing! We had to wait a few months until they had it in stock again (the unit is now made by Mitsubishi/ Trane) since it was so popular. Lamphere consistently exceeded our expectations. EVERY employee from there was incredibly nice, and a pleasure to deal with. The company was honest, thorough, and experienced at installing these mini-splits. Now that our unit is up and running, we are SO happy with it, and glad that we used Lamphere to buy it from. Knowing that they were a Better Business Bureau member gave us additional peace of mind.
