Liberty Appliance Repair

Update: After posting the original review I was contacted by the company and was able to quickly…read moredetermine that the issue was indeed with the home warranty company. The home warranty company scheduled appointments that were not even possible for 123 Appliance Repair to uphold since they were waiting for the needed part to be delivered. The technician was quick to set up an appointment once the part arrived. I was able to maintain communication with the technician at all times. I would absolutely recommend this company to complete any other home repairs that I may need in the future. I have had two appointments that were set up through my home warranty company and your company was a no show for both of them. Your company has been impossible to get in touch with. i have called, left messages (when actually able to), other times the phone did a quick ring and disconnected, emailed, and had the warranty company reach out to you. When the warranty company can't get in touch with you there is a serious problem. After spending TWO HOURS on the phone with the warranty company and a total of 10 hours at my house waiting for your employee to show up as contracted I know that that issue has been with your services. My claim has already been approved, so after reading your responses on other posts please do not say that my claim was not approved. I find your business to be border line fraudulent at this point. Your repairman came to collect the service fee and was never to be heard from again. My claim was opened on 7/12 and with it now being 8/14 with two appointments that your company DID NOT show up for without even attempting to reach out to me is disgraceful. You were contracted to complete an approved job and the lack of professionalism from your company is disappointing to say the least.

As other reviews stated, this guy apparently accepts/takes appointments thru Home Warranty claims…read moreand either cancels, or is a no call/no show for those appointments. Also operates under the name 123 appliance repair so pleaser beware if your claim is assigned to this company thru a warranty claim as apparently there is a documented history of this behavior occurring.

I understand that Mr. Applicance is a franchise and that each location is not the same - you need…read moreto know this fact, first! I've seen some horrible reviews on Yelp concerning "Mr. Appliance" and they do NOT reflect the Mr. Applicance of Sewell, not one bit! From the moment I made my initial phone call I felt confident in my choice of repairmen. The operator understood my situation which was a floral refrigerator had stopped 'refrigerating', and understood I had an immediate need of diagnosis and repair. The gentleman "Scott" that arrived the next day assessed the situation, and with the assistance of a co-worker "Ryan", they installed a "quick fix" to get me through the next few days, while a new compressor was ordered. The following week the compressor arrived to their location and Scott returned the next day to install the new compressor. Keep in mind, during the entire visit, Scott (and Ryan) were very kind to explain to me what was going on and how they were approaching the situation. I felt that I was in "good hands" the entire time. Once the new compressor was installed and checked for leaks, even adding coolant to the system, I was back up and running without any further delays. It was far better to replace a $3K compressor than an $8K refrigerator, and with the added cost of the service-call and labors, it was honestly "money well-spent!" If you're looking for "cheap", you will get "cheap": cheap-service, cheap parts, cheap people, cheap workmanship. If you want something done right, do it right the first time, and honestly and sincerely you can trust Mr. Appliance of Sewell to do just that, doing it right the first time without "being taken to the cleaners." You know you need someone you can trust. I know you can trust these folks. Feel free to contact me directly for any questions relating to my experiences. I have these people saved/bookmarked all over (my phone, my computer) in case my other cooler decides to go on a permanent vacation during a very busy time of year.

Tech had part available and was fast and repaired it, but the cost was astronomica. I could've…read morebought a new dryer for the cost. I don't want to be charged the $159 for just coming out so I paid the almost $600 for heating element for dryer and labor.
