Terrible experience extended warranty dishwasher repair. Unprofessional and incompetent. Never again.

So let me tell you about these jerks. Besides the fact that the appliance repair techs cannot fix appliances, the woman who takes the initial call and coordinates the rest of the work is the biggest bitch I have ever had to deal with. She will not work with you on the date/time for scheduling the appointment saying that they don't coordinate times with clients. Instead they tell you when they'll be there (on the day of no less) and we're supposed to make it work as if we don't have jobs and schedules to keep. Not only that, after you make the first call complaining that your appliance isn't working but is under warranty, you don't even get a phone call to coordinate the visit but instead you receive what looks like a random text from a spammer and the text uses the phrase "reminder your appointment is scheduled on [enter date] and you will find out the time the tech will be there on the day of" as if I had already agreed to a date and time, and they were providing a reminder, despite that it was the first communication ever received. It was very clear that their game is to take advantage of the warranty provider. The tech came into my home, took one look at the failed ice maker inside my refrigerator and, without touching a thing, declared that I needed an entirely new ice maker and that the existing one could not be repaired. He didn't pull anything apart or plug in a computer to check for a repair code or anything. All he cared about was that he could get a brand new icemaker paid for by my warranty provider so he decided that was what needed to be done. It was not what needed to be done. He left here saying that he would order a new icemaker and somewhere around four weeks later they showed up to install the new icemaker and it still did not work. Next they determined that the refrigerator needed a new computer board and once again we were in for a four week wait for the part to come in. When trying to coordinate the next visit, the woman who manages their schedules became even more difficult to work with if you can believe it. I finally had enough and called the appliance store where I purchased the refrigerator and the manager told me that they no longer work with @your service because they are so difficult to work with and they receive nonstop customer complaints about them (we were forced to use them under the warranty). At that point I looked up their online reviews and saw that all they had were negative reviews from unhappy customers, and you should see the list of complaints on the Better Business Bureau website about them. This woman continued to be nasty and argumentative and so I told her that I now understood all of the negative reviews and complaints about them, and her text response was a screen full of laughing emojis. Now what kind of a business sends laughing emojis to their customers? I have never encountered such an unprofessional business. It was then that I called the appliance store back where we purchased the refrigerator and told the manager that I did not want those people back in my home and to please find me a different appliance repair company to work with. They then referred me to Mr Appliance and a wonderful tech named Augustine showed up and told us that we did not need a new computer board and the fix was very simple. He repaired it in less than 20 minutes and we've had no issues since. I suggest you reach out to Mr Appliance if you're looking for a repair rather than @your service. @your service was unable to get the unit working after multiple visits and created problems where there were none in order to steal from the warranty provider. read more

Before they'll even fire up the truck, you need to pay them $95. My oven was purring loudly whenever I used it. They installed a new fan - but it didn't fix the problem. And now, because we're outside the 90-day warranty, they want another $95 to come back. They also charged my credit card twice -- so I had to call and ask them to refund the additional charge. This company isn't even deserving of a rating. I've been fighting with them for 2 days now over them coming out to service my LG refrigerator. They've been requesting a copy of my receipt from 6 years ago and told me if I don't give it to them by Friday at 5 that I will be taken off their schedule. LG stated that they have no jurisdiction asking for my receipt and that because I already have an approval code for the costs of any parts and labor that they would be paid. Unfortunately, my short-lived experience with this business ended before I could even experience the work of the technicians because of the poor customer service. The truck roll for my washer was scheduled a week and a half out, which I accepted. When I received the call a day prior to the truck roll to confirm and provide payment, I happened to be en route to work. When I asked to call back in 20 minutes she said they'd have to take my appt off the schedule if I can't read off the CC at that time. Then she started blaming me, saying that all of this was explained before, when it absolutely was not told to me exactly what time I had to give my CC number. I only needed 20 minutes because I was driving. I told her not to talk to me like this is my fault and she suggests that we cancel the appt. I agreed. All of this was totally unnecessary and a waste of two weeks without a working washer. I filed a claim through our warranty for damage to a washing machine. It was assigned to this company. Took 3 weeks to get assigned a time for a person to come out. The morning of, they call and say they ordered a part but it was not in yet. Would be out the next day. They had not yet seen the washer, so it is still a mystery what part they were referring too. Now a month later, I have still yet to receive any sort of call back from anyone at the company after over a dozen messages were left with the company requesting some sort of status. I have now had to request a new company be assigned to complete the repairs to the washer. This company obviously does not care enough to even return a simple phone call. Would be zero if I could, basically a scam. They provided a quote for parts and labor on a sub zero repair. They asked for money up front for all parts and a "service fee" that would be credited towards the repair. They said the parts were back ordered, two week lead time. Two days after I paid the fee, over $400, they tell me the parts are no longer made by sub zero and I would be refunded the parts cost minus the non-refundable "service fee". I thought it was a joke and asked how I could be charged a service fee if they did not provide any service. I was told a "higher up" would reach out but that I needed to pay for the work put in to order the parts that they quoted (price and lead time) that apparently are not even made anymore. We were stuck using this company as were told by Miele (1.5 year old dishwasher) this is only company to service our dishwasher in Philadelphia region. Overall experience was horrible. Initially called and had to pay $125 for evaluation. Serviceman showed up and asked for user manual, turned it dishwasher on and didn't get error message and left. 10 minutes later got error message and he said would order replacement pump. We then were told by company he would have to come back out again to evaluate and wanted us to pay for part and service prior to install. Finally called Miele who eventually covered repair. Repairman unprofessional, argued with us when dishwasher was not put back flush (as it was) and ultimately there was some hair in the pump that likely could have just been cleaned out. Had a warranty for LG refrigerator VTC came out to check the issue; found what parts were needed. Second trip came out and installed new parts, was on time and did a great job. Then we had another warranty issue, Leo came back checked the issue and ordered another part. Once the part was delivered Leo installed and did a great job! The office personal at VTC was courteous and responsive. The hardest part of all this was dealing with Home Depot's warranty department they were extremely difficult. 'They only have ONE tech (Mike) which is very professional and seems to know what he is doing, but they send him out of state for weeks at a time which leads for my area to not have the urgent service needed. When my Hisense broke it takes days for this company to send Mike, parts were ordered and the day of repair, they canceled.... I am still without a fridge and the "manager" Pam has no compassion or skills to accommodate urgencies. Purchase a product where you can obtain a reputable service company that will not leave you hanging dry. This company has been hired by my home warranty and has continued to collect the money without repairing/replacing my refrigerator Long & Foster Home Warranty has hired this company to come out and repair my refrigerator which went bad over 6 weeks ago--Mind you, the refrigerator is 18 years old. The first visit for Service order on April 5th, led to a Technician named Bill coming to the home. Bill was rude. He walked into the home without a greeting. He was shown where the refrigerator was and at the time, the refrigerator was unplugged. He replugged it and said he ran tests and everything is working. It probably needed to reset and it should get colder by the evening. If not, call them back. That visit cost $125. It did not get colder and we unplugged it because it was pulling electric current and some sort of gas was escaping the fridge and making the household sick. I informed the warranty holders that it is not fixed, so a Service order was created on April 15th. This time, a technician didnt come to check the fridge. He called to ask what is the problem. I told him what happened thus far, and he suggested that it needed a new compressor, so he ordered one and the warranty holders approved. He then came out a week afterwards and put in a new compressor. This technician of course left the place in a mess. Left the old compressor on the floor, which was too heavy for me or my elderly mother to move, and suggested that it should start working now. We had it running and the refrigerator got slightly cooler, but not enough to keep food cold. I informed the warranty holder again and another service order was made on April 25th. I asked the receptionist at Tech Video Center to have the technician to call me, she stated that they are too busy to call and scheduled me for another full week until someone to come and checked the fridge. I asked her when does it come to the point when a technician will say this fridge is not fixable, since this is the 3rd time they are attempting to fix an 18-year old fridge. She said they will keep coming out as long as the warranty holders ask them to. So May 3rd, we circled back to rude Bill (who arrived late), who came the first time to say that he ran everything and it should be working fine. I informed him of what transpired with his company and the refrigerator, and he said that he checked everything and it should be working fine. He called the manager who said someone may come again to check if there is a blockage, but they cant tell. So I asked him how can he not tell if this is the 3rd time the company is coming out to analyze the same fridge. I also told him that it is over 6 weeks that this fridge is not working and at what point is he going to inform the warranty holders that the fridge is not fixable. He responded that he cannot tell them that because his analysis says otherwise. He suggested that I keep the refrigerator running for the weekend. I told him that I cannot do that, there are fumes coming out of the refrigerator that is making everyone sick. Its not safe. He then got upset and said that if there was a freon leak, he would see it on the floor and there shouldnt be any fumes--suggesting that I was lying. He then started going on a rant about the freon, which I told him that I didnt say there was a leak, I said there are fumes and I dont know where its coming from and I am not putting my family at risk because him and his company are incompetent. Needless to say, our call got heated and he hung up the phone on me. This is the worst service I ever received from any company. They are in the business of taking money from the warranty holders and not in actually fixing anything. From the receptionist to the two incompetent technicians who came out, they were all disrespectful and not listening to the validity of my explanation on why the refrigerator is not working. While they "figure" out what is wrong with my fridge, I have to go without having a fridge for weeks. This company should not be in service and I want my money back!!! read more

This company showed up at my house as an authorized repair company for GE. Horrible! The tech that arrived was un-showered, clothes were dirty, worn and his pants had tears in the knees. He did not have a professional demeanor. No markings on clothes or the truck. This guy wasn't what you would want in your home fixing a brand new machine, much less an old one. Their business card had no address! The email is videotechcenter...for a GE appliance?. That is also the name of the business on Yelp. The card asks for a 5 star review on Yelp. I recently called Whirlpool for fixing the refrigrator issue, which kept shutting down itself. It was contracted to at your service. FIrst of all their appointment is two weeks away, and they do charge a fee when booking the appointment, and if the appointment is cancelled, there is a 15$ procesing fee. Inexperienced tech sent to my home to repair my range. Created damage to my hardwood floors and put a big dent in my stainless steel refrigerator. I wrote the company, sent photos numerous times. One of the owners came by to access the damage. Literally called me and my wife liars in our home and said that his employee was not responsible for the damage. I have never been so insulted. Brand new home, appliances and hardwood floors. I have reported them to the BBB and am pursuing a law suit. I also found out that the employee is incompetent, unskilled and has previous customer complaints which has resulted in his termination from the company. Do not use this company!! This company is HORRIBLE! DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! Our first call to have our refrigerator repaired was placed on Sep 4, 2018. It is now 2 months later and it is still not completely repaired. They say they order parts and don't schedule the repair until they have tracking for parts. The last 4 visits (one cancelled the day of appointment after confirming it the day before) they have not arrived to do the repair with the parts ordered! No one will talk to you on the phone other than the scheduler. The call center manager says she will handle it and now she says the owner will. We have sent multiple emails to him as well as attempted to call him and have yet to receive an email or call! The initial problem was that the refrig wasn't cooling. Took 3 weeks for first visit. Diagnosed as ice maker not working. Ordered ice maker but that was not the issue. Took 2 weeks for next appointment. Tech diagnosed as evaporator fan not working. Ordered that part. Another 2 weeks. Day of appointment they cancelled stating tech did not have parts. Next week was scheduled to install. Got call that morning tech did not have part but company was sending part to our house later that day. Tech installed part. Refrigerator started working but during install several parts were cracked! Tech ordered 3 parts. Tech came today, Nov 6, 2018 and only had 1 or 3 parts that were supposed to have been ordered! No one has any information about the other 2 parts other than in the tech notes that he ordered them! All these parts we could have ordered on Amazon and had in a couple days. So the second time they came out to actually do the "repair" he was cussing himself again because he didn't read the diagram properly and ordered the wrong part. They ordered the correct part this time (I hope) and now it's backordered and they can't even tell me when it'll be back in stock. I've been without a drier going on 3 months now. 2 appointments to fix a built-in microwave that did not heat. The appliance is 16 months old. Bosch brand so it wasn't cheap to purchase. I was told it was the magnetron on the first visit. Today they stopped by with the replacement part and told me that the microwave now heats. Five minutes after they left, I tried to re-heat leftover coffee for 2 minutes. It came out ice-cold.
