Not the way they run their business anymore. I've given them quite a few jobs over the years and I referred them a couple thousand dollars in business from other neighbors and friends. Always very professional. Came out to look at the fridge. Charged me $100 to tell me it's dead. I understand their time is valuable. But the fact that they wouldn't even let me use the coupon for their five minute visit upset me a little bit. I think we're going to look at other services. Tl;Dr they told me to replace a dishwasher that was actually easy to fix, and couldn't even repair the one minor issue I asked to have fixed while they were here. A couple years ago, I had Atlas out to repair my dryer. They did a great job, so I called them again when my dishwasher stopped working. It's a 3 year old GE. The guy came out, looked at it, said it seemed like a computer issue, and that meant it wasn't worth repairing and should be replaced. I asked him to fix a minor unrelated issue with the 3rd rack while he was there and charging us a service fee anyway, because I figured I'd try resetting it by turning it off and on at the breaker. So he attempted to fix the rack. Then I ended up renewing the extended warranty we had purchased when we bought the dishwasher. The warranty had just run out but I figured the cost of renewal for one year was less than the service fee and if they denied my claim, I could get a refund within 30 days of renewal if we couldn't use it. Well, the warranty company approved my claim, sent someone out to fix it, and the guy knew what the problem was right away. Apparently it's very common for sludge to build up in the drain line after 3 years, and all he has to do was flush or replace it (my husband was home when he came, so I'm not sure exactly what he did) and that has fixed the issue. But once we started using it again, we realized the 3rd rack was in fact NOT fixed. Unfortunately, I tried to put in a claim on the 3rd rack issue when it first occurred and was told that wasn't covered, so we couldn't get that fixed by the company the warranty sent. I called Atlas to ask if they could come back and fix the 3rd rack again, there was no answer, so I texted the number the message says to text. No response. So we paid a service fee for Atlas to tell me to replace a dishwasher that was easily fixable, and they couldn't even fix the one minor issue that should have been easy to fix as well. I would find a different appliance repair company in the future. read more

Had a freezer-not-working emergency over the weekend, messaged Atlas over Yelp. I got a response on Sunday with a early morning follow up call to schedule an appt. Joe showed up by 10.30am Monday and was able to look over the fridge and advice me. UPADTE:The manager reached out to correct the confusion and miscommunication. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. They sent out original technician 3 Days after the review below. Again, he was exceptionally nice and fixed the fridge in less than 30 minutes. I've update the review from 1 star to 3 stars. If it was not for the extremely unpleasant interaction with the owner, they would have a higher rating. I cannot excuse how we were treated and spoken to by him. Previous Review: Our first technician came out, was super nice gave several suggestions and scheduled a return visit to correct the problem. When they came back out, the owner arrived instead of the original technician. He was aggressive and spoke with an alarmingly raised voice and did not want to hear anything we had to say. After about a 30 minute discussion where we tried to work it out, I asked him to leave when he asked me to leave the fridge unplugged for 2 Days and he would be back at that point. A very bad experience. I recommend you not to use them. First they charged me 110$ instead of 90$ for after hours visit that was in 4 PM and no one told me that it's an after hour call. Second they wasn't able to solve the problem, because the company don't manufacture the part that missing. When I ask them that I will buy a new one and I will use the 110$ service charge for installing me the new one, I got response that I can use it only for fixing (but it's cannot be fix) A very bad experience from my side, feel like they didn't really want to help. I called because my 6 year old refrigerator stopped cooling. They didn't send a repairman but a someone who charged me $100 to tell me it's broke and to buy a new one... he was gracious enough to give me a quote of $1,200 to $1,500 to fix it. I let him know that the parts are still under warranty, but he's said "his guy" doesn't work with warranties. One of the biggest wastes of time and money I've spent in while. I called LG, they'll be fixing it for $375 I will never use and will actively tell people to not use this companies services, $100 for a quote is ridiculous. Edit: LG came and fixed the fridge. Atlas Appliance also misdiagnosed the issue, which is understandable since all he did was put his ear up to the fridge and open the door. Atlas said it was the sealed system, but it was a bad compressor. I'm glad I was able to give Atlas $100 for absolutely nothing. read more

This was my second time using the company. The first time was a few months ago and it was a good experience, so when my washer decided to stop working i gave them a call. Joe, the owner, showed up exactly when I was told he would. He said that he had seen my problem many times and it could potentially be an easy fix. Well, he was right! Fixed my problem in about 20 minutes (prob less) and saved me a few hundred dollars from avoiding unnecessary repairs. I called back a 1877 number and was told that they were an answering service for numerous companies. Fast, friendly and honest. I called on a Saturday morning to have them check out the freezer compartment of my refrigerator. He came within a few hours, figured out the issue and we have had not problem since. Both the person who took my call and the repair person were very friendly and honest. My oven wasn't getting hot. Called Atlas on a Monday and Tuesday they were out. In one hour they had diagnosed the issue, replaced the part, and I had a working oven. Both gentlemen were very nice, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. They even reattached my dishwasher handle in literally seconds. Would have taken me a couple YouTube videos to do that! on today's date november 9th at about 8:39 am an unknown female worker who works with atlas appliance repairs 856 857-8904 got my information via phone provide me with an initial fee of $79 to troubleshooting my washer machine. the female worker was going to call me back to confirm if they could come out today or tomorrow. i havent heard from them and is10:15 in the morning, so i called back to inquire. the female answered and had no clue what i was talking about. when i asked for her name and asked what type of business is this because it sounds like is unorganized. she disconnected the call. i attempted to called back but the answer machine picked up so i left a message.... i will not deal with this unprofessional, unorganized,un-responsible and unreliable company. runaway and runaway fast and do not look back. do not deal with them. read more
