My experience with Appliances Specialists was exceptional. I recommend them absolutely without any reservation. Repair door on Wolf oven. I researched this repair and knew that - like so much with Subzero and Wolf products - it was not going to be simple, fast or straightforward. Lots of disassembly required to get to the root of the problem. Parts for these brands are $$$ too. After years of experience with self designated "high end" appliance repair specialists in the area, I have learned to expect long waits, get charged outrageous prices and work my schedule around to meet people who frequently don't show or come late. The work hasn't been that great either. Appliance Specialists is simply not in the same league with these other companies. These are skilled appliance technicians who also truly understand customer service. Their response time was incredible and the appointment was quickly made. Drew arrived on time, completed the project exactly as expected and left everything clean. Respectful, wore a mask. We were pleased to have Drew in our home. Customer Service A+ Response Time A+ Professionalism A+ Pricing A+ They gave me a quote on the phone the for the job including parts which was unexpectedly very reasonable. However, I accidentally gave them an incorrect serial number for the oven. When Bob called to order the parts (the same day we spoke - can you believe it?), he discovered that the serial number I provided didn't match my model and that the part I needed was actually going to be $150 less than quoted. He actually called to let me know that it would cost less and be ready sooner - available in just a couple of days. How many service companies would do that...? Especially since a consumer wouldn't know what the parts cost? None I have experienced before... All in all, these are absolutely the best home service technicians - in ANY category - that I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. I am not in the habit of writing reviews for adequate service. Something pretty bad or really, really well done might prompt me to write a review. Appliance Specialists repaired my refrigerator in the beginning of March, prompting me to write a positive review for a job well done at a very reasonable price. By the end of June my refrigerator was again leaking water. I was told that it was probably a clogged line to the pan. I admit that later my cynicism balked--why was it not anticipated the first time! The repairman arrived 15 minutes before the appointment. He removed the panel-- no frost on the coils, meaning the new heater coil was doing its job. He unclogged the line, put it all back together, showed me how to turn off the machine without having to unplug it, and even politely encouraged me to finish cleaning the shelves before putting the fridge back together. I was already more than satisfied. The kicker was that the repair was free--covered under the initial repair warrantee. Appliance Specialists are awesome. They are respectful, competent, and honest to a fault. I have Appliance Specialists on speed dial, and plan to always call them going forward. read more

Appliance Specialists is the ticket! Our GE dryer died yesterday after four years of decent performance. I took it apart (from the wrong end) and had a genuine shock looking at the guts of it - while everything is functional, cost cutting and design "improvements" left me speechless. Broken belt looked more like rubber coated floss thread! Drum is rotating on the door opening frame! Jessup's Appliances was most helpful, they printed pertinent service manual pages, spare belts spec and price, and, most importantly, Bill (The Manager) gave me Seth's phone number. After considering my options, I called Seth. He showed up at appointed time today, picked up where I left off, performed additional work that my "expertise" caused, replaced the belt, put it all back together, tested the dryer and charged me a very reasonable amount he quoted yesterday (In spite of additional assembly required). If you need your appliance fixed and have not done anything like that in the last 10 years or more, do yourself a favor CALL SETH! You will be glad you did ;-). read more

Appliance Specialists is by far the best appliance repair company I have ever worked with. We have needed their services several times and they have went above and beyond. They are honest, reliable and do a fantastic job. We arrived in town late Friday night prior to the holiday weekend to find our fridge not working they came out on Saturday and found a bad circuit board. They would have to order one and with the holiday it would be Wednesday or Thursday before the repair could be completed. Later that evening they called and said they had received one that day and they came back out that night on Saturday and installed the new board. read more

I have lived in Venice for over 35 yrs and have used other repair services. This company is outstanding in service, courtesy, efficiency, dependability and the knowledge of the technician. I am also impressed with the reasonableness of their prices. I called to have my GE icemaker filter cartridge receptacle replaced but was so impressed I also had the tech look at my dryer which has been making a noise. Scheduled for that to be repaired also. I have a GE refrigerator that had quit cooling. I had heard great reviews about this company. Gave them a call and someone was at the door in less than an hour. Problem was diagnosed, part was on order and price quoted before he left. Received a call the next day that the part was in, and scheduled the repair. Seth had it cooling again in no time. My experience with Appliance Specialists was outstanding. My fridge was leaking water and I was nervous about DIY'ing the repair. They scheduled the visit for the next day. Rob came on time, diagnosed the problem, installed a new condenser coil heater and completed the repair in 30 minutes. To top it all off, the price was way less than what I expected. Unbelievable!
