He tells me he's been doing this work for 30 years. Washing machine would not go into spin cycle. He saw problem, quickly change part. Ge also noted that the plug had a worn , then broken. Lead. He required a new cord with plug ant taped the joint closed. The unit is now working. I paid the 85.00 company fee in cash up front. It was deducted from total of which I paid by check as credit card is a 4 % additional fee . Total includes tax. I felt it a worthwhile expense and as noted the washing machine now works.
