I can't speak for carpet, but do not let this business do your hard/tile floors unless you already plan to replace your baseboards and you're okay with them being damaged. Also, expect poor communication and unexpected additional costs. In the process of purchasing a home, this person was recommended to attend to our tile floors. Our main focus was eliminating pet odors in the tile from the previous owner. My wife clearly expressed our goal and Mecco explained there were enzyme cleaners that could be used to eliminate the smell. She provided measurements and he provided a price. I then met Mecco at the property to get things started and he started to say he was going to use bleach. I brought up the enzyme cleaners and he said he could go that route and it would need five gallons at $30 each, so an extra $150. At the time, I didn't know what he and my wife had spoken about, and my wife informed me he already said he was going to use enzyme cleaners. He backpedaled and said he would use a deodorizer and only 2 bottles of enzyme. Short on time, I agreed. He sent a video of the wet floor after the enzyme cleaner treatment and said he would come back in the morning to pressure wash. Morning came, he said it was done and provided his Venmo info. Like an idiot, I paid him before I had a chance to go check the work, banking on it being a recommendation from a friend. What I found was damaged baseboards. Mind you, the baseboards had just been replaced by the seller and there were small remnants in the garage which evidenced that. There are at least three areas that show swelling and staining from water damage, which cannot be repairs and must be replaced. There were lots of rub marks, presumably from whatever machine was used, and dirty splash marks, including up the wall a little in some spots. I had made some unrelated repairs and there was sawdust on the garage floor by the garage door. There was a large portion of it that was wet and I assumed it was just water from the cleaning and left it to dry. A couple days later I went to sweep it and noticed two strip patches of concrete had been eaten away. I confronted Mecco on these things to give him an opportunity to address the damage. He denied causing any damage and tried to claim the damage was already there when he started. He claimed he only left water in the garage. I'm still researching the effects of the chemicals on concrete. He tried to lean on the video he took, and pointed out the existing damage to trim under the kitchen cabinets (which was already there and was not what I had point out). The video only proved there was no damage to the baseboards at the time of the enzyme treatment, specifically a very clear still of a corner by the entrance. I wish more service companies would do that!! The appointment time was set and then adhered to, which was a priority for me. I was told that the whole house could be completed in 60-90 minutes and it was all done in just over an hour. Service was friendly, yet efficient. Scheduled for 8 AM and he was right on time. A lot can be said about the professional punctuality!! He uses organic compounds and within two hours, cleaned and disinfected a 2,000 ft house.
