hello: i am having the worst experience ever with american income life insurance. i have #9…read moreinsurance policies, i upgraded them all making numerous changes to all #9 policies. american income life (ail) has not givin me my written conformation! showing all my changes. which should show all my new beneficiaries, riders, contingent beneficiaries accidental death policy's etc. my policy's need to also clearly show when & how double payment is givin. etc. i have continuously written & phoned for my upgraded policy's, which is conformation & clearity of all changes, so beneficiaries clearly know what all i have left them & what they are entitled too! conformation should have automatically been sent to me showing all changes/upgrades!! but they were not! to this day fri.11/15/24 i am still writing & phoning after nearly 6 months! for conformation of all my changes to my #9 policy's! without written conformation ail can completely deceive my beneficiaries! my beneficiaries can only go by what they see in writing! ail is with holding conformation that is due me & my beneficiaries! i wont stop until this matter is satisfied!!! warning beware be very very cautious if you decide to use american income life (ail) it is going on 6 months since my upgrade/changes to my #9 policy's & i still dont have a correct receipt/ conformation showing/acknowledging any of my chages to this day accurately 11/15/24! i strongly advise against your joining ail! i am in a nitemare with what i am going through with ail!

This…read morecompany was selected to lead some 'executive training' sessions for Gate students in the district. A week or so after signing up with my school district, I received an email from a random person at Air Tutors without telling me anything about why I'm receiving an email and just stating what week sessions will begin. The email came from a Hunter Shelburne with a profile picture that looks more like it belongs on Facebook rather than a professional company. After inquiring what the email is about, only then did he explain that this was for my son. Even then, he didn't explain it was a special leadership session through the PVPUSD Gate program. I had to put two and two together. Anyhow, he explained more details about session times and assignments would be forthcoming. Nothing ever came. On 3/22 at 3:55pm I get an email from Tynisha Lewis saying "your" session is about to start. I'm a CFO, I don't need tutoring. At least get the emails right and have some details in the email. Something like, attendee's name, session name, program affiliation, would all be helpful. Also, how is it, we never received session dates and times until 5 minutes before the session??? Of course, I'm in meetings and don't see the email. I get a text from an unknown number at 4:30pm for a tutoring session. Again, no important details. When I realized what this was about, I asked when my son's sessions are and the texter said right now. Here I am 20 minutes later at 4:50pm and I still don't know if this is a one time session, when other sessions are, etc. This company did a terrible job in communicating as to detract from an otherwise great Gate experience with PVPUSD so far. If you are a parent or a school district, think long and hard about what this company's operations will do to the image of your district. It's difficult enough for parents to juggle all of their kids' activities, we don't need stuff thrown in minutes before they're taking place to add to the stress. Junk company.

Calculus is extremely difficult for me, but somehow Amy managed to make it not only easy but enjoyable. She was so sweet and patient, and it was so evident how much she truly cared for me to learn the material. This was a jam packed week full of all the necessary knowledge/tools needed to launch a successful interior design business. The coursework included a variety of guest speakers from the field of design as well as applicable field trips that proved invaluable in creating networking opportunities. Since graduation, I have received a variety of support through additional coaching via Zoom which has given me the confidence to continue pursuing my passion with fervor. Wanda, Tammy, and Kim have been my greatest cheerleaders and I am so thankful for their commitment to creating a top notch program for people interested in starting a career in home staging and design!

The days were thoughtfully planned out, and we touched on everything one would need to gain the confidence to start and/or evolve their business. The word that comes to mind is "clarity." I gained clarity at who I am at my core and how that expands into all facets of my business. I gained clarity on both my immediate and long term goals and how to prioritize them. And I gained clarity on what was holding me back. I arrived alone but left with 3 close friends and two mentors that I can't thank enough for helping me realize and shape a dream I had one day in 2020. 4/5/22 No matter where you are in your career and/or life, you deserve to do this for YOU. I had a bit of an inferior complex going in because I have zero training or experience in Interior Design, and this course is designed literally for every one at every level. The team has designed such an approachable program that touches on all aspects of the process. Wanda - our fabulous instructor - brings real world examples into every lesson that helps contextualize beyond the classroom. In addition, the "white box challenge" was such a fun practice run of what it's like to design in the real world. If you're on the fence about joining, just do it! You'll never regret doing this for you, even if it's just to serve a need to design your own house. I can unequivocally say that the Academy of Home Staging & Design changed my life, and it prepared me for a life where my job doesn't feel like a job at all. They not only avoided providing instructions on what setting was required for the online exam (until I was already on a video call about to start the exam), but also had me wait a full 3+ weeks (aka the maximum amount of time they say you will receive your results by) before letting me know AFTER I contacted them to follow up that they NULLED MY EXAM. I did not even receive an explanation as to why it was nulled- they simply forwarded an email to me to let me know something was wrong and that I would not be refunded ANY of my $200. As someone applying to graduate school, and studying for years for this exam, I was incredibly dissatisfied by the lack of organization, communication, and scamming conducted by UNAM Los Angeles. I would NOT recommend this institution to anyone looking for a proctored exam or any kind of timely, respectful communication.

The fee might be more than it would be at a community college, but the classes are small and intimate. So you can't really hide; you're forced, albeit gently, to learn. Fernando taught the Spanish class I was in and he is also the coordinator for their language program. I understand that he and the other teachers actually have linguistics degrees and are likely over-qualified to be teaching basic Spanish. Nonetheless, Fernando was extremely enthusiastic; somehow, he was able to identify where you are weak and push you to develop in those areas without making you feel lost or slow. Highly recommended.
