They spray water around your house then charge you $200 cancelation fee via a DEBT COLLECTOR (never billed us themselves). It's a total scam. Save your money. Worst company and customer service I have ever dealt with. I was deceived at the start about the services they provide. They promise free re-service but never show up. I have several pest issues and not one of them was improved by their "service". Then there's billing. They will charge you whether you receive service or not and will hit you with a large penalty fee for trying to cancel. read more

This company has the sketchiest and most unethical business practices I've ever encountered. They originally approached us as we were backing out of our driveway, pressured us to sign up so intensely that they would not take no for an answer, would not leave. Incredibly rude. Regardless, I caved and signed up for the basic 4x a year treatment, because we do have pests, so okay, fine. But since then, they have been booking treatment appointments MUCH more frequently, way more often than needed/recommended, showing up and doing the treatment without requiring confirmation, and automatically charging us. Apparently their business practice is just to sign themselves up for appointments as often as they can get away with unless the customer notices and goes through a very lengthy cancellation process. Sure, the treatment helped a bit. The actual guys they sent to do the treatment were nice/professional enough. But I would never, ever recommend them for pest control because the business side of the company will try to scam you out of your money as much as possible. read more

Do NOT waste your money. Terrible service (we were meant to have full service inside and out) and they treated the inside once. Now I'm trying to cancel (it's the end of my contract) and have sent an email and am on my 4th call with them. Every time I talk to someone, they say they need to transfer me to a different department and am on hold for at least 10 minutes at which time it goes to a voicemail. The first time they said someone would call me back (they never did) the second and third time I left voicemails and now I'm literally on hold yet again and have been for 7 minutes. I will NEVER recommend this scam of a company to anyone and hope this prevents at least one person from any future headaches with this company! read more

Salesman came to my door tonight trying to get us to sign for service for tomorrow. High pressure. Said that three of my neighbors (using their last names that are readily available on mailboxes) had signed for service tomorrow. No business cards, pamphlets or written quotes. I contacted one of the neighbors mentioned and they had closed the door in his face, and did not agree to service. Buyer beware! read more

Service was pretty good, but customer service was poor. I asked multiple times to have my account closed due to cutting back on expenditures. They did not close my account, resulting in a payments that I was hoping to avoid. I do not recommend Aptive, based on the fact that their customer response is lacking. read more

Buyer, beware!!! Do not sign up for a contract for the services of Aptive Environmental!!! The salesman are unbelievably pushy and aggressive. Once they have you signed into a contract, the account manager will convince you they need a little more time for the treatment to work and just keep paying your maintenance treatments. I signed a contract for one year with them and they still have not gotten rid of the ants in my yard they will keep telling you you need to keep paying them for it to be effective. I spent over a grand and have not gotten any positive results. My husband is a disabled vet and we have very little extra money to spend for nothing. We are just trying to have a nice yard without the nuisance of ants do you yourself a favor and find another company!!!!! read more

We just bought our home and it had so many bugs in the yard and through the house (mostly earwigs, spiders, beetles, ants). I'm looking forward to seeing how their service works in those regards. This company was very thorough. Branden was going door to door and told us all about the service and had a sign up deal. Ryan came out the very next day. We loved having Ryan as our tech. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and confident in his brand. He represents Aptive very well. Would love to have him back out for future applications. ZERO STARS Aptive is an absolute scam of a company. They have incredibly pushy sales tactics (it worked on me and I had no idea what I was getting into with this company) They come onto your property unannounced, which in my eyes will forever be trespassing but for some reason they do not see it that way. They do not notify you of service until after you are already charged. We had a "full service" scheduled for indoors and outdoors and the appointment kept getting canceled due to weather, which is completely understandable. They ended up sending one of their techs out on a Sunday while we were at church. They treated the outside of the property (allegedly) and charged me for a full service, when I called their customer service the woman that I spoke with was incredibly rude and told me they sent out a text to a number that was not mine to confirm. (They text appointments apparently on iPhones so they sent this text to a different number and saw it as "read" and apparently that was the okay for them to come on my property while nobody was home) When I brought up the point that it wasn't my number they texted she said this wasn't her problem and it was mine and finally obliged to set us up for a free re-service at NO COST. This was less than 10 days ago, they showed up to my house this morning without notifying me in the pouring rain and "treated" the outside yet again without coming into the home or garage which is the reason I wanted a full service redone. They charged me for a full service AGAIN. When I called customer service they refused to give me a refund for this and told me they will not cancel my account with them. So now I have to go to my bank to get a full refund and cancel the debit card they're pulling money out of for services to block any future charges. The customer service is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. They are incredibly rude, they are completely unwilling to fix any problems they caused on their end. Their full service is them spraying for five minutes and then leaving. We live out in the country so there's lots of woods and trees, so lots of little critters we want to stay away from our home. Do not sign up for this company. They are scam artists. I just looked through their social media accounts on Instagram and they have an entire page dedicated to showing how much money their sales techs have made pushing their services on people. Do not waste your MONEY they will not break contracts they will not do full service and their pest solution they use is an all natural solution that keeps absolutely nothing away from your homes. This is part of their tactics to keep charging you for treatments because nothing they use actually works. They service in the rain which is unheard of because everything washes away and I promise you they are NOT cheap. If I could I would give no stars for this terrible company with horrible sales practices and beyond awful customer service. read more
