Large equipment everywhere, mechanics and techs scurrying around trying to maintain some type of order with rigs, big rigs moving in as fast as they get them out. You get the picture? BUSY! To add to the mental picture I'm trying to create, the facility is modern and clean. Why do I add this to the description of the place? This is a serous operation! Here I come. Rolling into Missouri from Arkansas I realized I had zero trailer brakes. I had most of the trip in front of me, hauling some fairly precious cargo, (and heavy) I needed to get the trailer fixed. It was a late Friday afternoon. Everyone I reached out too was (local trailer outfits looking to start their weekend... not that I blame it them) saying "call us Monday" As you know, it's a loooong time between Friday and sometime Monday when you are on the road. We were on the N. West Bypass road from a recommendation to a shop that we visited that flat said sorry, your out of luck! As I pulled out and back on the bypass my wife noticed a large company just ahead. First impression is that they wouldn't even consider a simple 4x4 pulling a 24' trailer. The trailers they were working on were larger then my entire outfit! Cut to the chase... Not only did they work me into there schedule, they treated us as if we owned the place! I'm not exaggerating here. They pulled a job out of one bay just to let us back in. This is that moment you hope your polished up on your backing skills because half the crew was watching lol! The associate who helped us was attentive and very professional. He performed a Initial assessment and within minutes had a technician working on our trailer. They had us in and out within a hour for less then you would spend buying a few burgers for lunch. This outfit no doubt saved our weekend and kept us on schedule. We came to a price agreement over e-mail and they processed my deposit over the phone and scheduled the delivery. When I arrived for the pickup, the bill of sale and temporary licence were ready to go and installed. I soon realize that I had brought the wrong sized trailer ball and that my tow vehicle did not have the correct wiring harness. They have a helpful parts department that promptly coordinated the modifications I needed,. Within minutes they had a technician taking care of both of my problems. The service invoice for the modifications was more than reasonable, and it turns out that the business owner himself performed the service work (as my service needs were unexpected and his regular crew was working on scheduled service). I was blown away by their genuine helpfullness and highly recommend them for your trailer purchase and service needs. Great service is such a rarity these days.

An unexpected road-trip detour this morning, but definitely a worthwhile one…read more We had to make an unscheduled side trip to Pinegar Honda in Springfield, Missouri, for B1 service on our Honda Odyssey. It added about an hour of drive time to our trip, plus another hour and 15 minutes for the service itself, but we prefer to do it by the book, and thankfully our Honda service plan covered everything. To make our 8:30 AM appointment, we had to get up at 5:30 local time in Rolla and get on the road early. Much of the drive to Springfield was through nearly two hours of rain, so it was a long and very early start to the day. The good news? The dealership was excellent, the service area was clean and well organized, and everything was handled smoothly. A fun surprise in the waiting area was an on-site donut case featuring St. George's Donuts, a true Springfield institution. Katy St. George first learned to make donuts in her father's shop in California, and in 1971 she and her husband Charles sold their business there and moved back to her hometown of Springfield, where they opened the first St. George's Donuts at Grand and Glenstone. It was a neat local touch to enjoy a bit of Springfield history while waiting for the service to be completed. After a 5:30 wake-up call and a rainy drive, that was a very welcome bonus. They must have read my earlier review as they now have all sorts of cruisers on their showroom floor. I wasn't actually there to buy this time, but to sell my Harley. I was picking up a new Vulcan from a private seller and jut didn't need it anymore. I worked with Bob Ernins in sales. I told him what I wanted for it, which was about KBB when selling to a dealer. He had the service department go over the bike and after finding no issues and noting it was in good condition they ended up giving me exactly what I wanted for it without turning it into a haggling session. Renegade Harley had offered me about 1.5K less than I wanted and did it a super shady way. Bob Ernins had the paperwork done and I was back out the door in record time with cash in hand. Super props to Bob for taking the time to work with me and doing a great job despite my not buying a new bike from them. Tomorrow I am taking the new Vulcan out to them for a service.

I called 3 dealers trying to schedule a service and Napleton happened to pick up as my last call. Ms. Jamie answered as I had dialed the parts department, when never have I seen such friendly service in the automotive industry, she was willing to bend over backwards to fit my schedule and it blew my mind. I had some issues with my nav screen. She consulted her service advisors/managers regarding the warranty and gave me a call back same day. She scheduled me for a Saturday and because of her awesome display of customer service, I decided to give them what business I could. Then I got to meet Ms Kendra who was very courteous and she was willing to listen to whatever I had to say, answering to the best of her ability. I didn't even know Hunter (the company for alignment machines) had lasers like they had in their service bay. She kindly informed me my alignment was out and a couple of scheduled maintained services. With this, I proceeded to happily spend money knowing these were people I could trust my vehicle with. As for the actual service on my vehicle, Mr. Preston was the servicing technician. Let me tell you, I used the be a tech on flat rate, and I'm super sensitive about who touches any of my vehicles. Mr. Preston did an outstanding job, it's like he wasn't even in my vehicle with the exception of the new nav screen. That dude was super cool and I hope I made his day with the "gravy train". Outstanding work and a pretty cool guy. When I have to choose a Mitsubishi Dealer, I will gladly choose Napleton, every time.
