You are looking at a woman who is totally terrified of dentists, caused by many bad experiences…read morewhen I was young! I broke a tooth and knew I had no choice but to bite the bullet and get it fixed! I asked a friend where I should go and this is where she led me. I had a panic attack before going and did not sleep the night before. Let me tell you that from the moment I opened the door and stepped inside I saw welcoming staff that immediately assured me that I was in good hands. The front desk staff was actually treating me like a person and not just a name on a chart! I was surprised...still terrified but comforted. I met Dr. Parsons and was immediately struck by his relaxed and friendly manner. He immediately put me at ease and was very reassuring and supportive. Nothing like I had ever experienced before! He fixed the broken tooth before I realized it was finished! It was the BEST experience I have ever had! Pain?? What pain?? There was none! I was shocked! Went back in today and the same result! I finally feel like I can handle getting my dental health back on track! I recommend them to a friend, Michelle, who broke her front tooth and is more afraid then I was. She went in two days ago and had Dr. Clark. She called me raving about her happy experience and is actually looking forward to going back next week to get other maintenance started! Unbelievable!! I recommend Bethlehem Smiles to anyone who is looking for a dentist!! Everybody here is fantastic!!

Then when we asked if we could have a payment plan. They said no, they wanted to be paid in full. The day I went down to personally pay the debt. I found out that most of the bill had already been paid by the insurance company 5 months ago. So I paid off the bill, and told them I won't be back.

I just wanted to take the time (before the drugs wear off and I start cursing) to say that Valley Oral Surgery is the best dental experience I've ever had. They are efficient, professional, and affordable. I had a decayed wisdom tooth that broke. It hurt so badly that I could feel my pulse in my jaw. I tried to schedule an appointment with other oral surgeons in he area, but was told that I'd have to wait several weeks for an appointment. Not happening. I tried to go through a local dentist in the hopes of getting a referral and, once he saw how bad it was, might be able to squeak me into a quicker appointment. The unnamed dentist wanted me to get a full checkup, including 18 (!) x-rays and a cleaning, before they would refer me. Then I called Valley Oral Surgery. Two hours later, I was in their office for a consult visit. My one -- and only -- x-ray (the cool 3D kind) was done before I had completed the new patient paperwork. I waited a whole five minutes for the doctor to see me. He checked me out, explained in detail what needed to be done, and scheduled me for the surgery, two days from then. Before I left the consult, they ran down everything for me, including the cost of everything up-front. No BS. They even submitted a claim to my medical insurance, informing be that some carriers do cover oral surgery. I never would have thought to do so, since I don't specifically have dental coverage. Turns out it wasn't covered under my plan, but it was nice that they tried. I left with a handful of information, plus prescriptions for antibiotics and painkillers. Driving time included, it took as long as a lunch break. I went in today for the procedure. The extraction went off without a hitch...not that I remember a damn bit of it. I was in and out within an hour, one tooth less. The most painful part was when he put in the IV line, and that was a pinch. I would highly recommend Valley Oral Surgery.

The introduction to this office by a Groupon limited the dental care I received until the next cleaning which we paid first in full that allowed us a more comprehensive exam and prophy that brought to light a LONG list of DENTAL issues not uncovered in the Groupon visit. And when I asked about the difference, SAM, the hygienist, copped an attitude and explained why there was a difference between the two appointments. The cheap Groupon price afforded me a cheap exam! Without going into too much detail, I never returned because the trust was lost. There is something amiss in that office between the front office staff and the dental staff that I wasn't going to continue to be subjected to the inner workings of this business. Tread lightly.

I tried to give them another chance and came back for additional fillings. No issues with the initial procedure. Months later however, I have pain in these areas that I never had before. Went back a few months ago for a cleaning. Was then told they need to take out all of my wisdom teeth. (Mind you I'm almost 30 and every dentist I've seen has stated they are far enough back and have come in straight that I would never have to get them out). Was also told I need multiple crowns. I don't understand how a difference of 6 months I need all of this work now? Clearly after the insurance money. Only good thing is the Staff in the reception are always nice and helpful. Stay far away from this place.

From my very first phone call with Liz, I felt cared for. She was personable, down-to-earth, and even made me laugh during a stressful situation. Since it had been quite a while since I'd seen a dentist, I was embarrassed and worried about being judged, but everyone at the office made me feel completely comfortable. Bri was incredibly helpful with the paperwork and went out of her way to save me time. Heather, my dental hygienist, was kind, reassuring, and never judgmental. She explained everything clearly and made me feel involved and informed throughout the process. Dr. Kutuza, who performed my extractions, was thorough, patient, and compassionate. She took the time to explain what was happening and what sensations to expect, which helped ease a lot of my anxiety. Even Linda, the insurance coordinator, was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, even offering me a stress ball to hold. I was genuinely impressed by every person I interacted with and very grateful for such a positive experience during a dental emergency. I was so comfortable with the care I received that I scheduled my comprehensive exam before leaving. It's a relief to have found a dental office that didn't just treat my dental problem, but also treated me with kindness and dignity when I was scared, in pain, and feeling embarrassed.
