I wonder why so long because I usually get an appointment pretty fast. In September I get a voice message that they no longer take my insurance. I misunderstood the message, and I thought because the cancelled my origin appointment that they would do the cleaning I was supposed to get in August no charge. When I got there, they wanted $89. I refused and they wanted to charge me a $50. cancellation fee. I won't be going back there. They said they did not cancel my original appointment on purpose, but I don't believe it.

I must also admit I am one of the few people who actually likes going to the dentist (probably linked to my grandfather being my first dentist). I haven't had many issues with my teeth, so the majority of my visits are spent with the dental hygienist. I usually get Minna who is very friendly. Dr. Piorkowski usually comes in towards the end of the visit to have a look and he is also pleasant. I still come to the practice even though I haven't lived in Easton for over 7 years. I always manage to work in a visit when I am home for something else. I love coming here and seeing familiar faces. From walking in the door and seeing Margaret (receptionist/office coordinator) to Minna and the other hygienists, they make the trip to the dentist enjoyable. Everyone I have encountered here is very friendly. A truly (and literally for me) neighborhood dentist.

When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that they do not accept my insurance. I had to pay for my visit. The technician who performed my x-rays was impatient. She was annoyed that I was choking on the enormous device that she put in my small mouth. She begrudgingly gave me a smaller device. She blamed me for it falling out though I clearly followed her directive. The x-rays were extremely painful & there were a countless amount of them. I thought it would never end. The hygienist seemed very nice but she did not clean my teeth which are in dire need of cleaning. The dentist was cold. She said I had an abscessed tooth & described some remedies. Her advice was moot because she is not in my network. She prescribed Amoxicillin & Ibuprofen, 800 mg. The latter is known for stomach bleeding. I took one & was nauseated all day. I threw them out.

When advising I corrected her in office & trying to provide the correct phone number to the pharmacy she was to send the script to - she put me on hold. when coming back - while expressing as she is the "office manager" she should "do better" set an example - she hung up on me. She wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. I was trying to find out if they were in-network, as my insurance website listed them, but I was also open to paying out of pocket if it was the right fit. Jo told me they were not in-network, which is completely fine, but there is a respectful way to communicate with people. It's already hard enough to find a good, family-friendly dental practice. Based on this interaction, I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my family here.

I cannot get them to call me back about my permanent dentures. I reported them to BBB about them…read morenot returning my calls which I called them for about 2 weeks re adjustments which they finally returned my call. I also had several lower teeth pulled. I had new bottom ones made and I was told my permanent ones will be done in November. Before that time, I lost my lower ones and paid for new lower dentures. After coming in for adjustments, I asked them about getting my permanent top dentures, after checking my records, the dental assistant told me to make an appointment for that. A few days later I tried calling them again but after a week or two of calling, I finally got a call back telling me I already got my permanent ones. After I hung up I realized it was just my bottom dentures they worked on. I have been calling for weeks and have not received a call yet. My top dentures are loose and keep falling out of my mouth without a lot of adhesive but they told me I had my top permanent ones. Which is not true. Now again they won't answer my calls for an appointment to get this done. I would never recommend this dental office since it is all about getting the money and not about how they treat patients.
