I specifically wanted the pedicure that includes the paraffin wax. When I brought it to the technician's attention, another employee came over visibly frustrated, huffing and puffing, and told me the paraffin wax would cost an additional $15. The issue wasn't the extra charge--it was the poor communication and unprofessional attitude. The technician also told me I had an ingrown toenail and, without asking for my permission, cut my toenail vertically all the way down toward the cuticle. Ironically, that is what caused it to become painful. I explained that my toe wasn't hurting and that if I ever suspected an ingrown toenail, I would see a podiatrist rather than have it treated without my consent. A simple apology for the miscommunication and an effort to make it right--whether by honoring the service that was requested or offering a small discount on a future visit--would have gone a long way. Instead, I felt like I was being treated as though I was trying to get something for free. Unfortunately, the customer service has declined, and because of this experience, I won't be returning.

Instead of the usual bulky massage chairs, they have comfortable reclining seats. My classic pedicure included a massage with hot stones and towel wraps.

Mind you I also tipped my nail artist $20. This place will never get any more business from me.
