I will say that the place is always nice and organized and the staff are always so friendly. But there are some issues. I feel like I've never seen the dentist also be the one to do the cleaning until coming here. I found that off but whatever. The first 2 times I've had my "cleaning" it NEVER felt like it was clean. He usually never talks to me and feels more intimidating. Today I went and I'm sooo glad that they finally had a hygienist in there. She was super lovely. I really wish I had met her before because she did an amazing job and she made me feel like my mouth was clean. She did say she was new there but honestly that's probably the best decision the dentist could have done. The front people are always so nice and I appreciate them helping me once when I had an issue with my bill.

They told me I could just get a regular cleaning that a needed a "special" cleaning and $1,000 for filings and a bunch of un necessary stuff. I had a friend that is a hygienist look at my bill and they wanted me to get the most expensive of everything. She also told me most of it was unnecessary. My husband had 2 teeth extracted. We told them he wanted gas for the extractions and they ignored us and only numbed his mouth. He was getting a too and bottom tooth extracted. My husband had to tell the doctor he was supposed to extract the bottom one too. The doctor obviously didn't look at my husband's file because he sent him a prescription for Penicillin. My husband is extremely allergic to Penicillin. Thank goodness he decided to check before popping them in his mouth. They also charged him over $700 for fillings that haven't even been done. When I called and spoke to Vanessa to get my money back she hung up on me. We later found out that Bailey was telling other employees that my husband was an ahole. The people are so rude and unethical. I called their headquarters in Dallas and left a message for the HR executive director Chad, and reported them to the Better business Bureau. Do not go here. It is a hot mess and they are just going to try to get as much money out of you as possible.

We get back and they quickly got all 3 of our x rays done and got all 3 of us to rooms. My 8 year old is a very nervous kid and was pretty scared to even be there, Dr Patel was so friendly and kind and made him feel at ease. Dr. Patel was amazing as was all the other staff members there. I would recommend anyone looking for a dentist to pay them a visit.

I spoke to Candace and asked if they accepted Cigna and she responded saying they do accept Cigna if it's a PPO plan (Which mine is. Also, I would like to add this is my first time using my dental insurance this year and my first year having Cigna for my dental insurance). Everything was great I scheduled the appointment for the following Friday at 10am. I arrived to my appointment 12 minutes late and the staff was understanding of my situation (my daughter woke up sick). Amanda asked for my ID and insurance card and then I waited a few minutes and was sent back to get my cleaning. The cleaning was awesome- probably the best cleaning I've had in awhile. The doctor informed me I had a significantly large cavity on my 2nd to last molar on the top left side, which she recommended I took care of immediately to avoid a root canal, cause it was that bad. I went to the front to check out and Candace printed off a sheet explaining how much my two cavities would be to fill. She said I had to pay a $100 insurance deductible and when I asked why it was so high she said that's just insurance... so with this being a new plan that I haven't used and being told they accepted my insurance, I just thought my insurance was crappy... fast forward to this past Tuesday, August 27th, after getting a very large cavity filled I went to the front to pay and was told my total was $301 (an extra $100 went toward some kinda lining they put around my root to avoid a root canal-- *$301 for 1 cavity*). I paid and scheduled my next appointment for the other cavity to be filled. Later on that night I looked at my Cigna app and said the EOB said they were indeed out of network. SO SO SO MISLEADING and wrong! When I called today, August 28th, to talk to Candace about the situation she said they record all their phone calls and she went back to listen to the 7 minute initial conversation and said you didn't ask if we were in network, you asked it we accepted Cigna (what is the difference?!) and I replied with yes we accept Cigna PPO plans. At that point I was so highly upset because she confirmed with me that she did in fact say they accepted Cigna PPO plans and had me under the impression I was being charge the in network percentage. If they were out of network her correct response should have been we accept Cigna but are not in network. From the time I scheduled, to arriving at my appointment and handing over my insurance card, to checking out, not once was I told they were out of network! That should have been explained. Insurance deductibles are confusing and insurance verification being one of her jobs should have been conveyed better. I would have gone elsewhere had I known on the initial conversation that Cigna wasn't in network, it would have been absurd for me to go somewhere not in network when A TON of dentistry's near me accept my PPO plan. I feel she didn't relay that I wasn't in network because I would have never gone or had any work done in the first place and that would have been business lost. With all this being said beware and know your deductibles before you go anywhere! I have reached out to our local news station to see what can be done about this situation as well. This is wrong.

Fantastic staff. Competent. Prices reasonable. My only complaint is: Credit cards 3.5% surcharge. I don't normally carry a check book. And certainly not a lot of cash. So when time to pay. I had to ask my wife for help. And between the two of us, were barely able to pay what they asked. (Obviously, the estimate of what insurance won't pay.) This is asking me to carry a large amount of cash. So I suppose it's just something I will have to figure out for myself.

A few weeks ago, a cap came off my tooth and I called to get it glued back on. A previous dentist we had normally charged 86.00 to reglue a cap. I was surprised when the office person said 174.00 (paid it). The dentist also told me he could put another cap on the tooth that would be a little more durable. The quote on that was over 1800.00 (not doing that). I received a bill today from their office. They want another 131.00 for the reglue (and my insurance paid 95.00). Total was 400.00 to reglue a cap. Not going back. I guess I would just say, shop around. There has to be local dentists that are more reasonable.
