Everyone is welcoming and pleasant. I especially enjoy Dr. O as he is very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and explains things thoroughly. Four stars because my first visit was with Dr. Gupta. I was the first appointment of the day and I arrived early for my appointment time. I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time and finally requested to be rescheduled. The front staff was very nice and went to the back to inform Dr. Gupta of my request. I was then placed in a room. When Dr. Gupta came in to see me I felt she was rushing through the exam. After the exam she asked multiple times about applying for their financing options. My agenda for the appointment was to have a cleaning and to compare Dr. Gupta's recommended treatment plan to a treatment plan that I had received from another dentist. After multiple "no" responses to Dr. Gupta, I was told that I needed to schedule to come back for a cleaning. The appointment scheduled for that day was for an exam and cleaning. After background conversations, Dr. O volunteered to do my cleaning himself. The cleaning was the best I have had in years! I was very happy with Dr. O and I scheduled to have my treatment plan completed by him. I highly recommend Dr. O at Lancaster Family Smiles! read more

**Attention Consumers:** The billing practices at this office warrant caution. In September 2024, I underwent a procedure and was informed by the dentist that my insurance would not cover the cost. However, it later became apparent that the procedure was, in fact, covered. Several months have passed, and I have yet to receive reimbursement from the office. If there is a willingness to misrepresent insurance coverage, one must question the accuracy of other information provided. I recommend seeking a second opinion or considering this dental office only as a last resort.t--if at all. read more

UPDATE: 08/23/21 I was sent a TEXT by Erica in the front office letting me know that the Lead Dentist heard about my complaint and wanted to handle my case personally. After I replied that I wanted nothing to do with this dental practice and would be reporting them to my insurance I received ANOTHER text stating that the Lead Dentist is the owner of the practice and wants to work on my dental needs. I replied that my insurance would end on August 20, 2021 and I'd need to know what the out of pocket for me would be! I've never heard back from them since! Thus another reason I have kept them at a 1 STAR office. They seem to have patients who love them and I honestly don't know how they choose who they offer superb service to and who they decide are the worthless humans who don't deserve the same service. I was hesitant about leaving this review after seeing all the positive reviews but I went to this office a couple of days ago it was a nice office some staff was friendly and professional, doctor was great BUT..... One girl in the front reeked of Mary J , was loud and on her phone. The girl helping the doctor had the same odor and on her phone. It was unprofessional to not only smell like that but the idea of them being high on the job with personal information and in my mouth was scary and ghetto. Just moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist but this office is incompetent. I filled out the information they requested online before showing up to my appointment for a simple cleaning. When I got there, they said they didn't have anything on file so I had to redo everything there. It took almost an hour after I got there for the dentist to finally see me and when I did, I got a completely different dentist when I had booked with Gupta. I was confused but went along with it. They did an exam and afterwards told me I had a bunch of cavities and it would be $500 for treatment. Then they told me something about my molars and I would require surgery. I go to the dentist every 6 months and have never been told this. I don't have any pain at all so I thought it was kind of shady. In the end, they took so long I told them I ran out of time and needed to go back to work. 2 hours at this office and never received my cleaning. Went somewhere else instead. read more

I would strongly suggest this dentist to use a different company for customer service. I made an appointment, but all of the times were an hour apart. I needed to book a second one, but did not want them to be that far apart, so I called for assistance. This was on a Tuesday for an appointment on the following Monday. I was told that the person 'does not have access to the scheduling system' so someone would call me back. Fair enough - so I waited. No one called, so I called back the next day, and I was told the exact same thing. This went on for 4 days. Saturday comes around and I call back - SAME EXCUSE - and then the person tells me that they closed at 2:00pm (it was 3:30p). It says online that they close at 4:00pm on Saturdays, so I drive there. It's 10min to 4pm, but the doors are locked and you can't see inside. Long story short, it is now the day of my appointment, I still have yet to have received a call back to even modify my existing appointment if need be. My only option right now would be to get in my car and drive to the location before my original appointment to see if they can squeeze in my other child, if not, I will have to reschedule altogether, which is a huge inconvenience. Might I add, it's only an hour for me to do all of this, when I initiated the process a week ago, and I've heard no correspondence from the facility at all. Again, very bad taste (no pun intended) so I will be going elsewhere. I truly hope that she can look into accountability training for her customer service company that she is using, because they are the sole reason that I will be finding another dentist. read more

I love this place for my boys! They have a very cute office setup, free Keurig coffee and an awesome staff. The doctor is very nice and the dental hygienist made my son feel at ease and sang a song to him while she cleaned his teeth. Overall very nice dental facility for kids and family. My appointment was at 9:30 and the cleaning and exam were complete by 10:30! read more

Great doctor, poor service. I became a patient early 2018 and each time I come here I am never seen at my appointment time. I am always made late for anything I have planned after a dental appointment. I made the mistake of pre-paying for my entire treatment plan for the year. Completed my 2018 plan. This is an honest review. These guys really have it together. Starting on the initial visit. Dr. Gupta and assistant Vanessa, had my wife convinced that we had found the right place. She needed to have 5 teeth removed and needed a flipper until she got implants. Needless to say she was nervous. But the staff had been so friendly and accommodating she was actually looking forward to the procedure. There were some issues with billing and scheduling, but in anything I always weigh the issues with how they are addressed. I must say that the operations manager "Brooke" really took care of us and she made 2 customers (my wife and I) out of one customer (just my wife). I had heard a lot about Doctor Gupta and staff, but they really exceeded my expectations. The doctor who did the extractions Dr. Jubilee and her assistant Lashonda were great. They were also very informative. If you have ever went to the dentist or was hesitant about going, worrying about having a bad experience with not being properly numbed and sedated, or experiencing pain, then you need to come here. They made it their business to make sure my wife had a pain free experience, and wouldn't let us leave until we were completely satisfied. I love this place and will be back to do my own dental work as well as recommending that my mother and brother come. I hope I can give 5 stars by then. Stay tuned. read more

This Dentist office is NO JOKE. Dr. Gupta and her entire staff are welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. I think in my entire life (I'm as old as dirt's younger sister) I have been to the dentist about 12 times and four of those were times I had wisdom teeth removed. The dentist was always "just too expensive". My first visit was via a referral from my boyfriend who is not a big fan of the dentist. They worked with him and put him on a payment plan that he could afford. She is doing the same for me! I'm looking forward to building a relationship with this Dentist Office and FINALLY being in a position where I can take care of my teeth. The dentist did an excellent job fixing my tooth but, during the fix some tools were missing and technicians were unable to locate them. I was also concerned about thier level of Covid precautions. The receptionist was going "nose commando" and while I was haveing my teeth done another receptionist walked in to the same room with no mask at all. I was extremely disappointed with the level of Covid precautions. It felt very lacking. read more

Seen moving to Texas, Lancaster Family Smiles has become my first choice in dentistry and personalized care for my teeth and oral health. Dr. Gupta is an amazing and very kind dentist that works to make sure that you leave satisfied, I am confident in her skills and she has my full trust. The late office hours are great for people with family or cannot take off of work. The wait times can be a little lengthy if they are back-up but this is a fact that come with most dentists' offices. read more

I have been a dental client at Lancaster Family Smiles for over three years, but that all changed tonight. I had a 5:30 p.m appointment,  and still had not been seen at 7:30 p.m. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. After working twelve hours, my time is valuable. Also, are we not still in a pandemic? I don't care if the cases and deaths are decreasing, safety protocols should still be followed. I stood in the corner near the door, almost the entire time I was there. There were entirely too many people in the waiting room, and temperatures weren't getting checked, nor sanitizer used, hands washed, or seats wiped down. Another client came in for a 7 p.m. appointment late. She fussed about the wait, and was seen 15 minutes later. Her complexion was not black like mine. I question if this treatment would happen in another community, say like Highland Park. What is really insulting is that no one felt the need the need to come out and apologize. We have to demand and expect better from businesses in our communities. Oh yeah, they scrubbed my review from Facebook, so they can keep the truth from the public. read more
