The purpose of ANY driving range is to hit the guy who earns minimum wage by retrieving balls in a heavily armored cart. Instead Aqua Golf features shagging HOLLOw balls that can't roll. Driving range? Schmiving range. Closer to Wiffle Ball. Nay, Aqua golf's TRUE rating must be contingent upon it's MINI GOLF, a shrine reserved for eager tots and awkward first dates. Where's the beef? I'll tell you my beef. Where is the loop-dee-loop? How about the windmill, or even the alligator opening and closing his jaw? Anyone? Bueller? I'd settle for a badly painted angry clown on the course. Maybe something even uglier, like that spooky horse by the airport. Mini golf should be both imaginative and tacky. No one plays putt-putt to display golfing prowess. Duh. Holes are trite variations of one another, except when you plop one in the drink and it inexplicably ends up halfway across the lot. Wow. C'mon guys - mini golf should be a wacky, tacky experienceor a great initial memory for a kid holding a putter and besting his elders. Not an exercise in putting ennui. This rating is only for the driving range, not the miniature golf (which looked pretty fun btw) I've never been to a water driving range so this was a new experience. My first swing felt a little uncomfortable since i felt as if i was going to plunge off the edge into the jagged rocks below. After assuring myself this wouldn't happen unless I pulled a happy gilmore and tripped, I was fine. I used some loaner clubs since I was out of town. Most were typical loaners but I found a beryllium ping eye2 9iron which I spent most of my time hitting. The only draw back was hitting off a mat. Seeing as it'd be incredibly hard to maintain a grass hitting area at this type of range, it's understandable. Cheap prices and great service (they let us buy more balls after they were closed!) Definitely makes for a fun night! read more

Great place to un-wind and hit a bucket. Balls are all relatively new too. Great place to judge the carry on your strikes...you hit into water therefore no roll, kicks or spin assisting your balls final resting place. read more

Okay, so there's nothing particularly wrong with this mini golf course, but there's also not much to remember about it. It's set up with two 18 hole courses next to what looks like the very nice driving range. The holes don't have anything really fun about them (i.e., windmills or themes) and the engineering on the few cool contraptions there are don't work very well (one tossed our ball in the nearby pond). Also, there's a very strong sulfur smell in certain parts from the stream they created to run throughout the course. It's a fun place for an adult evening out in the summer, but it's not really the classic mini golfing experience we all know and love. read more

Overall the Golfing experience at Aqua Golf was rather enjoyable. The club variety was very slim and provided only one color club. I thought they had well kept greens. However, there wasn't much creativity with the courses. Personally I was disgusted by the dried up water streams that had algae blooming like crazy. Of course however those were just some flaws that I personally noticed but it was a pretty good and nice place to go for a afternoon of fun. read more

Staff was super friendly, easy to find using a GPS. The pricing is nice and cheap and attractive to younger kids and families. They have a driving range that puts the balls in a pond, as well as 36 holes of mini golf. Awesome place, it used to be super run-down but has cleaned up nicely. It's super fun to just hit some balls into the water(the splash makes your shots easier to see!). The mini golf course is fun and decently long, we only played one and it was good. Super affordable date option that's fun. I only have two things that could use work. Overall this is a fun range to go hit balls. They have a lot of targets set up to hit at in the water. This range uses mats. Aqua golf also has 2 miniature golf courses with lots of fun features! The reasons I'm not giving aqua golf 5 stars is because they have a skunk problem. While they stay open until 10pm, you should go before the sun goes down or you'll be playing with some stinky friends. read more

I know there are lots of us natives that played here as kids, or drove balls into the lake as we got older, watched as it fell into disrepair, and finally became an eyesore. IT'S BAAAAACK! And better than ever! 2 18 hole courses, new mats, balls, and clubs, and 2 nice sound-killing waterfalls (what highway?) So glad you're looking better, Aqua! I'd bring my nephews and nieces here in a second, now. The lake is clean, the banks rebuilt, and the course is modern, yet retro. How cool! Prices are great, Adults $7 for the first 18, and $5 for the second 18 hole. Kids are $5, and $3 The driving range is 50 balls for $5, 100 for $9 and 150 for $12, and with a setting like this, it's a steal! I love venting frustrations at a driving range, and this is my new home. (even if you don't golf, driving ranges are cool and fun!) I come here during my lunch hour to blow off steam or just hit some balls for practice. You can get a large bucket of balls for around $10. Balls are aimed in a large pond marked with various targets and of course your typical yardage markers. You can also aim for the various birds perched around the pond....hey, they fly away if you even get close and they are a better judge of where the ball is gonna land than you are!! read more

They did a really nice job refurbishing Aqua Golf, particularly the two 18-hole miniature golf courses. Simply, but well designed greens with waterfalls and even creative rough and sand trap areas (using different colored and textured turf), make the play fun and interesting. Once in a blue moon I get the urge to play putt putt so I convinced K to come out for a round on a beautiful Saturday morning. With ragged, faded flags flapping at each hole, this course felt a bit run down. And I like a kitschy course so it was plainer than I'd hope. I want to see windmills, castles and more gimicky holes. However, there are some challenging greens that a "real" golfer might enjoy. We still managed to have a good time. read more

Okay, even though they do not keep their social media up to date, the place is a decent place to whack some golf balls. First time I have driven into a lake, and I think having the splash effect is a good way to see how bad my hook is. Just be sure to check if they are open if you are heading there after 5pm. According to the clerk, they are open until 6pm, or sunset. April 1st they will turn on the lights and stay open later. read more

This course could use castles, 3D googles, lifelike animatronic gorillas that jump out of rain forest/ jungle, tunnels, glow in the dark tunnels, falling bridges, any obstacle would do. I don't know about this place....the couple of times I've been here, the wind was blowing so hard that my eyes wouldn't stop watering. But hitting golf balls into the water is super fun but I can't stop thinking about the workers who have to collect the balls...seems just awful. I don't know how much balls cost cause the bf pays for it but I don't like that it's next to the mini golf so random people can watch you or rent clubs who think because you have gloves you are a pro and when you (meaning me) duffs the ball, I get extremely embarrassed. read more

Recently renovated, and as I visited over the summer it was just as much fun as it was before. Has gotten a face lift so it looks nicer and the prices are still good. I usually just purchase the balls for the driving range (into a lake 'aqua golf') and haven't played the mini golf, but it looks nice. Cheap, fun and different place to go with anyone. The site said 10 to 10 when weather is nice. How much nicer does it have to be in January? Then when i call the messaging has no update or current info. I went to a grown mans birthday party there. That was weird. Hitting golf balls into a lake is not weird it's fun! I played the mini golf with my 7year old and his buddy. It was cool I guess. Nice place to hit a bucket a balls when you're feeling casual. A lot of first timers and the prices are reasonable. There is no covered shady area so it can get very hot on a summer day, but overall it's a convenient location to get some practice swings in. They also have a putt putt course available. read more

They really keep this place in good shape. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and just fun. I prefer mini putt with more crazy obstacles, but this is a great place to work on more traditional putting for golfers. And the drving range into the water is so much more fun than grass. Especially as your ball bounces farther in water. Or sometimes. But when you get a cool shot, it can skip forever. No food, so make sure you eat pior to coming. read more

Absolutely THE BEST place to work on distancing your clubs. You can see EXACTLY where your ball lands. Far superior to grass ranges in that regard. Ya, they are floater balls but it's easy to adjust your yardages once you get to the course. A few workouts here pounding the 100, 150 and 175yd markers will really help your approach game. I now live in Florida and really miss this place for distancing my approach shots. Glad to see it got spruced up. read more

Everyone who has commented saying "more clowns and windmills", aqua is called "mini golf" for a reason, it is not a putt putt golf course. If you are an actual golfer, it is a great place to practice your swing on the driving range and your putting skills on the miniature courses. Also great for family outings or bringing friends down for a little friendly competition. I think it's a great facility, complete with a friendly staff, great prices and a lovely view.
