Had a wonderful experience at Aqua. I came in for a gel mani and pedicure and the girl did a wonderful Job. They had the color I wanted and the pedicure was relaxing. My only reason for 3 stars is that the woman doing my nails asked me to put a mask on. I'm not against it at all and I completely understand if certain businesses still want it. However, the woman getting her nails done next to me wasn't wearing one. She seemed like she was a regular. And when I moved to the back to get my pedicure, two women back there didn't have them on either. I'm all for complying with a company's policy. I would never argue it or cause a scene but if it applies to one it should apply to all whether the customer is a regular ot not. read more

Very good customer service and good quality pedicure! I've had to spend 3x as much for a pedicure in California where the complementary 10 minute massage is really just the nail tech rubbing the lotion up and down my legs. This place actually gives a decent massage. Extremely affordable 5/5! read more

There's always a problem at this place because of LOLA. Everyone else is super sweet but that lady is the worst. She's rude first of all and she's super rough with nails. She made my friend bleed and then she's super rough with my nails. I had a piece of skin hanging off and I told her beforehand not to touch it because it hurts. And she tried to take it off and I told her not to touch it and rudely she says "well it's hanging off" and I said "I told you to leave. Don't touch it" and she did two coats and it wasn't dark so I asked her to please do a third coat and she sighed loudly before she did. I'm honestly not coming back here just because of her. It is my first time going gel nails and I question is this how it suppose to look like, noticed the index finger one has a slight bubble in it. Didn't the nail tech noticed that while she was working on my nails. I didn't see it till too late cause my hands were constantly being a switch between machines and being polished. This place just changed my life! Came in for a quick massage, powder manicure and pedicure. Where to begin... Massage: I suffer from chronic neck, shoulder and back pain caused from past sports and high stress from work that leave me with nausea, severe migraines and trouble focusing. I was seeing a masseuse and several different types of doctors trying to remedy some of my pain, most recently a neurologist. 30 minutes with Lola and my pain, nausea and focus have done a 360. After spending the last 2 years seeking specialists of different kinds I have finally found some relief. (The hot oil at the end is to die for) Thank you Lola! Pedicure: Pedicure was great, the chairs give a great massage as well and the product used felt amazing. Manicure: Goodbye to powder dip! My nails had literally one more dip left in them before my nails would be too thin to do much with them anymore. Luckily Lola put me onto a different type of manicure that would save my nails. (not sure what it is called) This was the best manicure I have had in my whole 12 years living in Queens/Jersey/Manhattan and in my life! Eyebrow wax: Say no more. Chocolate wax (Smelled tasty) and overall the best wax and shaping I have ever had. Overall: All the staff are professional and friendly and it's a nice calm/relaxing environment. The SNS dipping gel manicure is done incorrectly here. Firstly they could not takeoff the gel I had on my finger nails from a previous manicure place. Then they asked me to pick a color I picked a color and then they started to apply the wrong color onto my fingernails. When I asked why they were doing a different color than what I chose they said that they did not have the color I chose so they just picked one for me. The SNS dipping gel manicure was lumpy and the next day it chipped and was starting to come off. If you advertise that you can do the dipping gel then it should be done well. read more

Love Aqua Nail Spa! For too long Middle Village needed a good quality day spa. The place is clean and pretty with the staff being super nice and accommodating. They have a huge selection of OPI and Essie colors and if theres a color you want that they don't have, just ask! Next time you have an appointment, they are sure to have it. There pedicures are great too especially the "special" ones, that come in champage and roses or green tea...yummm. I have gotten a facial by Paula, which was awesome. She took her time and gave me a great cleaning. My skin felt beautiful afterwards. Patty and Maria are both great for waxes too. They are clean, fast and as painless as possible. Thought I would try this place out instead if my usual nail salon. The prices are more expensive so I was expecting a spa like experience. The pros: awesome leg and had massage, used a hot stone on my legs, took time to scrub feet. Cons: I have nail polish all over my toes and fingers (outside the nails), staff is not very friendly. The owner was sitting on the phone and I need to pass to go dry my nails and she barely moved. I was expecting more of a spa but it's really just a regular nail salon with higher prices. read more

The new place is beautiful, the pedicures are long and luxurious, something I am not used to since I now live in the city and pay steep prices for a quick, no frills job. Patty treated me to a long massage, a great callus treatment and great conversation. After my pedicure I decided to try to the new Gel Color Manicure which is a different type of gel polish that lasts for at least two weeks, and it looks fantastic, no chipping no worrying about drying or smudging! Went for a simple acrylic, the lady didn't care, rushed through it and didn't pay attention to details. My acrylics ended up looking ridiculous, thick and not filed correctly. Some were different length other were different shapes. For the amount I paid that should not have happened. When i said something i got a big attitude. Aqua is an awesome nail spa. It's the cleanest in the neighborhood and they offer a ton of services. My nails are always perfect and the staff is accommodating to everything you need. I must mention in my review (because I was their when it happened) The review from "Michelle P" is completely false. She walked in off the street and asked how long for a manicure and pedicure? Usually it's appointment only, But there happened to be a nail tech available for her right away. She was taken immediately. At some point she stomped her way to the front screamed that her toe was cut, She receive no color and literally attempted to speak to no one. The owner sits at the first desk and didn't even have the opportunity to speak to her, look at her "Cut toe" and never once asked her for money. I'm glad she posted a photo of her toe because as you can see she was barely even cut. Regardless, she proceeded to say I didn't receive any color open the door and forcefully slammed it shut.
