**Please ignore my original comment below** Happy to report that I just went by Bella Nails and the lights are on & the place has reopened. There was work that needed to be done with their ventilation system and apparently all has been completed. Thank goodness because I couldn't find any other local place as good as NewBella Nails. IGNORE: Unfortunately, it appears that my favorite go-to salon for mani & pedi's is permanently closed although there is a sign in the window for a ventilation renovation. There hasn't been any movement as far as work being done. I texted James (Sunny's dad) and he said they are not reopening. I live close by to New Bella so I've been going consistently--and I can say that this is a really reliable place to get your nails done! The environment is clean, organized, and quiet. The prices are reasonable as well! The staff is the same few people who will give you an attentive and enjoyable experience every time you visit. I will say that if you seek specific nail designs and add-ons, this place won't work for you. They're pretty basic with what they offer. Still, such a great spot that usually isn't too busy, even during peak times of the day. read more

Not a good experience.The nail tech told me the color I picked for my manicure was wrong and made me pick a new one. Going from burgundy to bright red even though I was asking for that color???? It was hot outside so I was fanning myself and she asked if it was hot outside so I said yes very sweaty. She then proceeded to keep on looking up at me during the appointment and saying sweaty and laughing at herself. She also drilled my nails down so much that they hurt and she then called them too thin even though she drilled them down. My gel nails then started to chip I kid you not 2 days later. Then started popping off all together within 3 days and I'm 5 days later with basically no gel polish on anymore. Wasn't a good experience I felt like they were rude the whole time all for not good nails. read more

They are super clean, organized and use sterilized tools. Happy friendly staff and it was so relaxing. They offered multiple tea options and I ended up getting lemon tea. Sigh. So depending on the technician, the service is a hit or miss. Today I had Nana. Did a spa pedicure and SNS powder nails. All I know is she's super rough and the whole experience was not very relaxing. Every time she dipped my finger in the powder, she flicked it twice VERY HARD and I felt like she was playing the flick your forehead game when you lose. I think each finger gets dipped 4 times in the power. I was basically flicked 4x10x2 =80 times. The worse part is the filing...out of 10 fingers 4 are bleeding/cut near the cuticles. I mentioned it to her but she kept telling me that I needed to relax the fingers. How can I relax if I know she's going to cut the cuticles with the nail file? At least for all the suffering, the nails look really good. read more

I had a beautiful experience getting my nails done today. The second you walk in they make you sanitize your hands. They have glass barricades between every client. Sunny the owner was sanitizing constantly while I was there. I felt very safe and would return in a heartbeat! They give you snacks and drinks while you wait. Everyone is very friendly. read more

Went as a walk in today around 2 o'clock, they had no problem accommodating me. I love the fact that they have so many different colors to choose from. I ended up getting SNS powder gel. The owner starting working on my manicure at first (she didn't have a name tag so I can't mention any name) , but then she switched with Summer, who was also very nice. I got a lotion as a gift for the holidays and a coupon. They also give you tea and a snack. I came to this nail salons yesterday for an acrylic fill in. I had a hard time finding someone to fill in acrylic nails in the area as they all want me to do SNS instead. I got these acrylics for vacation and I wanted to ride them out before I take them off. I called ahead of time to make an appointment an hour before closing and they happily took me. When I arrived the shop was pretty empty (Tuesday night) but I didn't feel rushed. The salon was kept very clean and everyone was very friendly. Wendy took her time fixing the shape of my nails and making sure they looked beautiful. They offered me free tea and snacks during my appointment. When I paid, I wasn't pushed to leave a certain amount for a tip before I've even decided on the amount or pushed to use cash as a form a payment which normally happens at other salons I've visited. Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely be returning. They also have me a first timers coupon and a 10 visit punch card. read more

Update: Post Covid: We are leaving for an international trip and I wanted to save myself some time by having a pedicure and manicure done. It was my game plan to have both services without polish so that I could polish them myself at home. Against my better judgment I selected a polish and a was greeted by Coco. She completed both services. First Id like to say they have new faces working there that are not familiar to me prior to covid. This could be the issue. Facilities were clean, and the environment quiet. There were two customers not wearing masks so I asked if masks were required, it was recommended that I continue to keep my mask on which I did. I "thought" Coco was paying attention to details however I was wrong. She was not thorough and overlooked simple things such as cleaning thoroughly under the nail, lifting and removing excess cuticle. The massage she gave was super quick and didn't feel like a massage at all. There was no effort put into the massage. Today I was in Target trying on sandals, and felt like my fresh less than a day old pedicure was not looking up to par. The nail bed did not look even, and there was to much cuticle remaining. I went home, and instead of focusing on packing for our flight tomorrow, I inspected my feet and realized there was excess skin, cuticle bed needed cleaning and trimmed and underneath the nail bed was flaky. She also did not smooth out the nail bed with the buffer board. I literally felt like she did nothing more than take off the polish I had on when I went in, trimmed my nails, and removed some skin from my foot while I slept in the massage chair. I shared a picture of my foot with the orange polish (work done by Coco), after I cleaned up around the polish hoping I could salvage the polish but it was so bad that I had to remove the polish, clean, and polish at home. I shared this photo just so it could be seen just how much cleaning I had to go behind her to do. I want to be fair in the review and the work was beyond unsatisfactory. I didn't realize it until this morning while sandal shopping, because they put oil on your feet before leaving so it's shiny and fresh looking, The photo with the burgundy and turquoise is the work that I did myself from home, which looks far better than the services they provided. Not sure where the disconnect is here, possibly new employees, because prior to covid I enjoyed having my nails and feet done here. They were not competitive to other nail salons, but the work was great. $69 spent and I had to do the work again myself the very next day. read more

Decided to try this new nail place and I'm so happy I did! I called in advance to make an appt since I read a review of a woman who wasn't too happy about doing a walk-in and being told she needed an appt. No appt was necessary since the nail salon was pretty empty, it was 1230pm today (Monday). Anna did my Pedicure and they came out great even before she put the polish on! She really took care of my toes, and it showed in her work and taking the time to really do a great job. After my pedicure, I got a 10min massage with Anna and it was great! Upon walking in I was greeted with a warm welcome. It was during the week - so not busy at all. I wanted a pedicure & was assigned Coco. She did an awesome job... very patient. I had the Cucumber Spa Pedicure with the Callus Eliminator. She certainly put in the effort to remove all the dead skin from my feet - super soft & smooth. She gave me a shoulder massage while my toes were drying & even offered me a drink. She was certainly attentive the entire time. I didn't do any extravagant designs so can't speak on that part of the skill set. From what I observed while my feet were soaking, the nail technicians try to please their customers by re- polishing if anyone smudges their nail or redoing it if they didn't like the color that was chosen ...(I would have popped off with an attitude if I was a technician- some customers are just too much). I really wanted to like this place but I will not return! The yummy tea and decor was great. My pedicure was even amazing. But my fingernail experience was terrible. I decided to try the dip nail polish. My nail tech, Wendy seemed confident when I told her. But her illusion of confidence faded when she started struggling putting the tip on my nail. Instead of slowing down and doing the job right, Wendy had several reasons for why my nails weren't compatible for her to do a good job. Even when she repeatedly cut my cuticles too close and caused me to bleed. My cuticles are so messed up now! She turned my birthday treat to myself into a prolonged, frustrating experience. Very beautiful environment and atmosphere. Everyone is friendly, patient, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. It is expensive here, but you get what you pay for. The services are great and the environment is very spa like. This is my new nail place and Wendy is my nail tech. Also, everyone wears name tags, they are Asian but speak good English, and offer snacks while you are having your service performed. Conversations between staff are usually in English or their native language. They also offer a vast array of nail lacquers, gel polishes, dip powders, and some come with the service and some colors are for a small surcharge. I came here because F & T nails were too packed. I called New Bella and they fit me right away. I went with my cousin and they offered us complimentary tea and snacks. That was a nice touch but unfortunately it came with a cost. This place was extremely overpriced. I got an sns manicure, regular pedicure and callous removal. They ended up charging me $81. They did give me a cash coupon towards my pricing which helped. They also charge tax for credit card transactions which is a even bigger amount of a crazy $88. The place was nice and quiet. However, the prices were too high. My nail tech Hanna was really nice and funny. She did a great pedicure and really took off my callous. My feet were really bad. However, the prices just threw me off. I would not return. read more

I have 2 experiences here - one with Wendy who was great (5 stars - except for the price) and knows how to use UV Sculpting Gel and one with Sunshine (negative stars) who does not. I was there for 4 hours! And my nails look like crap. IF YOU CAN GET WENDY - it is great!! Their prices are ridiculous, $60 for a gel fill then another $20 for gel polIsh. Come on ladies - who gets their nails done and leaves without them polished. But back to last night....Sunshine said she can do a UV gel fill but clearly doesn't know how. She put the sculpting gel on like it was polish then basically filed it all off. I commented that they were too thin and weren't balanced. After wearing these type of nails for 20+ years, I know how they should feel. It took her 3 hrs, she built one that I insisted she replace since she wanted to just glue back on any areas that were lifting or had stress fractures/bubbles that needed to be filled out to prevent fungus before applying the sculpting gel. The one she built, I'm not even kidding pointed up from the end of my finger so I asked her to redo it. They "finished" and I was just annoyed at that point that I left - I get to my car and immediately break two mid nail shaft opening my car door. Clearly they were too thin and not balanced. I go back inside to have them "fixed" and they did silk on the 2 which look ridiculous because they are like flat boards glued to the end of my nails. They shouldn't try to use products they don't understand. Wait for Wendy (who only works Tuesday) if you need sculpted nails. Or just have the other ladies polish. I won't be back. I was so livid when I left that I asked for my money back - which they gave me. The pictures speak for themselves. Update: The next day - I have 2 more broken nails. What a joke! Final update: A week later - I'm having to pay to just soak them all off. 8 of my nails have broken past the nail line and I am soaking and cutting them all off. I'll have to pay for a full set now once they heal and grow out enough. read more

Needed to get a manicure for my friend's wedding. The nail salon looked nice, spacious, and clean so I popped in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to take me quickly. My technician was a little brusque but was very efficient and quick and my nails came out really nice so I was pleased. The owner was very nice and hospitable, she offered me a selection of Korean teas which was delicious and a little snack! She also gave me a complimentary pomegranate hand and body cream.
