Best shop ever! I needed an extra tank and a refill. Owner came from home to accommodate my needs. Then, I ended up getting new dive masks for my kids. Conveniently "on sale". Thank you so much Aqua Sports for saving my families vacation. Always going to use you. GS read more

Fantastic dive shop. Super friendly and helpful staff, they answered and helped with my every need. Took my open water course and loved it so much I took other specialty courses through them. Trips are always fun and exciting. Lots of knowledge of local dive sites. Aqua Sports sells quality gear. AquaLung and ScubaPro are guaranteed and a discount is offered to service gear of bought at shop! Owner is licensed to service gear as well which is a huge comfort to me. Their AquaLung line has women targeted products; so much easier to fit into gear made for females! :) read more

Shop okay. Basically it needs to be cleaned! A good selection here for rental gear. The owner is very grumpy first thing in the morning. They have no idea how to check your credential. PADI they are a typical dive shop. Okay customer service. You really seem to be bothering workers, trying to bring them them business. They are not the only game in town the other shops not Much better though. read more

Best dive shop in St. George. They have a good selection of gear, a friendly knowledgeable staff, and great trips. I have purchased most of my Dive Gear here, and got my Advanced Open water Certification through them. Their rental gear is good gear, clean and cheap. The 3 dive trips I have been on have been great, the spots that we stopped at were great pics, plenty of life and the boats have been good. read more

While my party were not members of a trip organized by Aqua Sports to Cozumel in March of 2015 we unfortunately found ourself on a dive boat with the Aqua Sports group, including staff from this organization. While I can't fault Aqua Sports for the behavior of their customers, our party found the Aqua Sports trip leaders to be loud and extremely vulgar. Shouting at the top of their lungs words that simply can't be written in this review is absolutely not acceptable and totally unprofessional with respect to their profession organization (e.g. PADI). As an instructor who has lead trips I can also comment on the trip leaders total lack of keeping their customers organized on the dive boat as to not effect other divers. Basically the words train wreck come to mind. read more

I went in to Aqua sports a few days before a trip to dive Lake Tahoe. My intent was to purchase my son a 7 mil wetsuit. They only had a few old and heavily used wetsuits in stock but I was in a tight spot and after trying on 3 different suits with none fitting all that well, Kevin stated he thought the current suit would be ok and off we went. Tahoe was very cold and the poor fit of the suit caused alot of water to flush through and made for a miserable trip for my son. (I was fine in my nice fitting 7mil purchased elsewhere.) After speaking with Kevin about this, he offered store credit for a return. Which I was grateful for. Here is where the trouble starts. We decided to get a hooded vest that actually fit him with our store credit. The hooded vest had no price on it, like everything else in the store. Turns out it was $120. I was only refunded $74 for the suit I paid $99 for. Then on top of that he charged me $20 rental fee for the suit. (a total of half the store credit I was offered) So basically I paid $178 including tax for a aqualung hooded vest I can buy online for $75-90 or that he sells for $120. In addition to this I told him I was driving from Cedar City to get a visual inspection done on a couple tanks. He said that wasn't a problem. However, upon arrival he said he didn't have time to do them and I would have to come back to pick up another day, that it would take to long. (1.5 hr round trip for me) I ended up going to Adventure Plus and they inspected and filled my tanks in about 20 minutes and were a lot more helpful. I don't recommend aqua sports to anyone. read more

We…read morecame to Sand Hollow to dive and on my second dive, I set up my gear and noticed the tank was leaking. I figured it needed a new o-ring (2 of our other tanks did), so I took off my regulator to switch the o-rings out and noticed muddy junk all over the filter of my first stage (note the photos show all the junk in there after the scuba shop owner wiped the worst of the debris off with her finger). It was also all over the nozzle of the tank. I nearly ruined my dive. I was lucky a friend brought an extra tank I was able to borrow and my son sat the dive out so I used his regulator instead. When speaking to the shop owner about it, she refused to do anything about it. Now I have to pay someone another $150 to service it. She didn't even refund us the cost of the tank. I was beyond disappointed in her callousness and lack of responsibility. Also, the tank has no markings indicating inspections have been performed according to standards. I can only believe this shop is negligent. Our group had multiple complaints about the air tasting off or junk clinking around in the tanks. I would not trust this shop to treat you well as a customer, but most definitely, not with your life saving equipment. Bring your own tanks and gear!!

It's enormous, well-maintained, and a real treasure for Cedar City. The Karens kvetching about the rules clearly haven't lived in a place that doesn't have the tax base to support this sort of facility. And frankly, I don't mind the rule keeping the little kids out of the hot tub--it's a nice little slice of calm for the grown-ups.

I also asked him to check if this was the gym my minor daughter uses, since my wife couldn't remember the name. He said she didn't have a membership there, so I told him I would check the other gym as well because I wanted to sign up where my daughter goes so we could go together. What turned me off was that he started talking negatively about the other gym and their equipment. I told him it wasn't fair to talk down about other gyms like that, and that people will choose what works best for them. I went to the other gym, and it is nicer, cleaner, and $10 per month less. When I got home, I confirmed that the membership we're currently paying for, for our daughter is at Performance Fitness. I'll be moving her membership to the new gym, and I'm sure her friends will follow. One recommendation for the owners: hire someone at the front desk who is more mature and respectful.
