He will make remarks that convince you you're hired at the interview, such as giving high fives and congratulating you for giving the correct answers to his questions and placing you at specific locations to work on certain days of the week. However, if you show concern about hourly pay or ask questions that make him uncomfortable he will say it "doesn't make you look good" and call it a "huge red flag". He then will later express how "the interview was okay but nothing great". He will also compare you to previous people who he has employed that haven't worked out well, without knowing absolutely anything about your personal work ethic.

Fascia Class-Valerie taught the class and it was definitely challenging. I love the concept of this class and the release that happens from this style of rolling. Val is an excellent instructor. She keeps it light and fun. Her style is perfect and it seems everyone feels comfortable in these challenging fascia release movements. Aerial Yoga-Karlene is an incredible instructor. I've taken aerial in the past, at another studio, and this was the experience that I've been seeking. I loved the flow. It was gentle, yet challenging. Karlene also gives detailed instruction and guidance so I knew exactly what I should be doing, while protecting my body. I encourage everyone to take a class with Karlene. I wish I had a Karlene in my town!

The heat in the room was incredible; it got very hot, which I personally really enjoyed and felt added to the practice. I also loved his choice of music. That said, I did struggle with a few aspects of the class. It was very difficult to hear the instructor which made it hard to follow along, everyone was looking around to see what we needed to be doing. The instructor would slam his hands on the ground and the frequent slamming was jarring and distracting. There were repeated pauses to watch demos which often pulled me out of my flow. I also found it challenging to fully relax in savasana as he talking the entire time, which made it hard to end the practice in a restorative way. Overall, I really appreciated the heat and the cleanliness of the space. With clearer instruction delivery and a bit more space for stillness at the end, I think this could have been a much better experience.

The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and never feels overcrowded. There's a great variety of equipment, so whether you're lifting, doing cardio, or taking classes, you're covered. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming--they make you feel comfortable no matter your fitness level. The trainers are especially great at offering help without being pushy, which I really appreciate. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It's motivating without being intimidating, and you can tell people here are focused on improving themselves. Definitely worth the membership and highly recommended if you're looking for a solid, all-around athletic club.

I joined Summit Athletic Club (Bluff St) for a 1-year membership. I compared it directly to my driver's license signature and they do not match. I never signed a 3-year contract. I raised this in writing, REPEATEDLY, and asked for it to be investigated. SAC never addressed it. Instead, every response focused exclusively on relocation paperwork, demanding a new driver's license or a utility bill in my exact name, while ignoring the fact that I was disputing the validity of the contract itself. My utility bill was under my husbands name, after showing our leasing agreement with BOTH of our names, this was NOT accepted. I provided a signed lease showing my new address from the very first email. It wasn't enough. Four more months of dues were charged while this dragged through "senior management review." While they kept charging me, and never refunded. When I asked for a refund for the months I paid while this was being disputed (and not using the gym), I was told membership dues aren't based on usage and the charges stand. I have been back and forth with them for MONTHS, they should've refunded be for how long this process took, because all of the dragging this along, was in fact on them. Even though I have been pushing to cancel my membership for MONTHS. The unauthorized signature was never addressed or investigated at any point in this process. At no point did anyone investigate, acknowledge, or even meaningfully respond to the unauthorized signature. DO NOT go here, they will forage your signature to make more commission off of the sale. Then you are LOCKED in.

Feb 26, 2026 I don't…read morego to VASA Fitness for the treadmills. I don't go for the multiple televisions screaming morning news. I go for one thing: the steam room. And it's been down for a week. Again. Last November it was out for nearly a month. Same laminated sign. Same vague timeline. Same "maintenance" fog where accountability should be. Let's be clear: this is the only steam room in Washington County. If there were another option, I'd already be gone. The only reason I maintain this membership is access to that amenity -- the one advertised, promoted, and built into the monthly fee. A membership is a transaction. I pay. You provide what you advertise. Since this location can't seem to keep a core amenity operational, maybe it's time the people at the top hear about it directly. VASA is backed by private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners, and led by CEO Rich Nelsen. When a company scales across multiple states and markets premium amenities, operational consistency isn't optional -- it's the business model. If the steam room is going to be chronically unreliable, say that plainly. Don't market it as a feature if it's a recurring casualty of "maintenance." Members shouldn't have to escalate basic facility upkeep beyond the front desk. But when a pattern repeats, escalation becomes reasonable. Fix it. Maintain it. Or adjust the membership pricing and advertising to reflect reality. Right now, it feels like we're paying for a promise that keeps evaporating. And steam, at the very least, should show up.
