Had a party today for my daughter's 15th birthday. It was suppose to be a special day. It was not. Thanks to Aqua Party Boat that special moment was tarnished. The captain that was there was nice and a good captain, the only thing I didn't like was that when the trip was over he got off the boat and started telling people I slapped my husband for looking at other women. Let's start off by saying that is completely false and secondarily where is the professionalism? The lady who was assisting the captain was a little rude. She continued to turn down the music, even during the father daughter dance completely ruining the moment. The captain would allow us to turn up the music and next thing you know she would come and turn it right back down. We retried the father daughter dance three times because she continued to turn off the music. She would not allow me to set up the food and drinks as I felt most comfortable, of course within what they allowed. Seems to me she has a superiority complex, and wants to be in control. Beware they state there is enough bottled water, but there is most definitely not enough water for 45 passengers. So if you decide to hire them, understand they will not have enough water and soda for you. We didn't even have 45 passengers on board, imagine had we actually had the 45 passengers we were allowed. Everyone would've gone thirsty. The trash would be overflowing, and they would not come and change it. Lastly, Kira is as good as a door knob. She is as generic as it can be. Offers zero help or information. Zero guidance. If you message her you'll received a response from her three days later, if that. The day of the event she is completely useless. Will not answer your calls or text messages. If you are having a party they only allow you to come on board 15 minutes prior to set up. That's not reasonable at all. Kira told me as a courtesy she could allow me 30 minutes instead of 15. Still definitely not enough time. so sure they want you to use them as a party service, but they don't want you to be a nuisance because of the party. Kira and the captain made it seem like it was such an inconvenience for us to do light decorating. But again, they want you to use their service to do your parties. They want their cake and eat it too. I received several quotes from different boat rental companies. I picked aqua party because of the amenities they stated they offered, although they were the only company who did not offer food or snacks. The large floats, I was promised, specifically the ones I had requested were not delivered. The floats I received at max could fit five people each (X2). Again, not enough water. I rented for 6 hours because we were suppose to anchor for 4 hours, at least. We were anchored for 3 hours. Felt like our party was cut short. I was promised we would be able to go to Monument Island, when I informed the captain he made it seem like it would be too much of a mission. So the captain ended up taking us to trashy haulover where my children were exposed to nudity by men and women. Police had to get involved. Lastly, once the trip was over we were quite literally kicked off the boat. We were picking stuff up and trying to get everything out and at the same time we were being rudely rushed to get off the boat. They said they had another party coming in, but who books immediately after one finishes? Do they expect me to snap my fingers and make everything I brought on board disappear within seconds? They should not inconvenience me so they can squeeze out every penny. Also, find a Party boat Rental company that has a marina with a parking lot. This marina does not have a parking lot, which is extremely inconvenient. At the time of booking, I was not advised of this issue. It was not until after I paid the deposit that I was informed they had no parking available. At the end of the day this is my fault. I knew Kira was not professional, and I conducted business with a company who has an individual like that representing them. All the red flags were there, and I didn't take it as a clue. read more

Locally owned with smiling faces. Not your typical corporate vibe which we loved. Oliver was great! My boyfriend and I went tubing and was his first time ever going. Oliver made him feel safe, welcome & knowledgeable enough to try for the first time. Oliver was warm and gave us the run down. He had his furry friend aboard which greeted us and was a total water baby. We thoroughly enjoyed ourself and will be back ! Check them out. Reasonable prices. Nice family activity. And YES. YOU WILL BE WET ! To find them- they're located INSIDE the mall by The Grand Hotel. Directly across from Starbucks and a liquor store. Park in the gravel city lot across the street by the round about- for meter parking that's $6 for an hour or $12 for 3 hours. Easy in and out. read more

Best lifetime experience of all times! I went this past weekend, we bought the offer from Gilt City. I bought the Sunset tour which included a 4 hour boat tour and a 30 minute flying ride on the jetpack. At first, I was really scared but the staff was really friendly and very patient and helped me the entire time. They give you a life vest and built-in microphone helmet so you hear the instructions from the certified pilot at all times during the flight and I even go to do the trick where you can walk on water!! I want to go again and take my Dad who after seeing how great of a time I had, wants to now fly too! read more

Very cool experience, and my 3-stars reflect that, but as a "value auditor" here on Yelp, I thought it was a very expensive indulgence that I can cross off my bucket list, and not repeat. Staff are personable, effective, and all around top notch. But a 15 minute jet pack adventure for $200, in retrospect, makes me (or my wallet) cringe a little. When you are with a group you don't sweat the fine print of the waiver, or the payment screen (was there really an addition for tip? And I paid it? Wow). And charging me for the boat ride TO the site seems a little odd since the only other way there is to swim, but as I said: these adventures are for bachelor parties or other times when money is no object (except when you live here, and it is). If you are a baller, and in Miami for adventure, go for it. For the rest of us, wait for a groupon. read more

We were in Miami for a wedding & decided to do the 'banana boat' tour. It turned out to be us sitting on a floating sofa & then being pulled by a jet ski. AWESOME!! Oliver was our instructor and we had a blast with him! He showed us dolphins & manatees. We definitely will be back. read more

Jetpack is not as easy as it looks. For me, I think you should have a good arm strength to stay in the neutral position. My instructor, Oliver was great and kept me alive . He recommended to do flyboard instead and I wished I had listened to him . For first timers, be prepared to drink plenty of salt waters. Don't play hungry. read more

Keke & Geoffrey We're or captains for the social experience. It was way better than expected. This all depends on who else is on this with you.. boring people boring experience. The floats do need to be changed most are broken and old. Also bring your own snacks and alcohol (they provide soda and water). The celebrity house tour was nice. We rented the Kiki pontoon boat from AquaJet Miami a couple of days ago. Personal belongings were left behind. I called the very next day to see about lost and found. They do not pick up the phones. I texted back and forth with a woman Kira who gave me different answers each time! The real story I eventually found out is that the crew LEAVES personal items on the dock without any care and without making any announcements to the guests!! They don't secure the items or have a lost and found! I was told to call the marina but the marina said each boat operator is responsible for guest items. After expressing my disappointment with this company, I got a call from a Jeffrey (Geoffrey) who claimed to be the operations manager. He did not apologize or sympathize. Instead, he had the nerve to say I was making a big deal over a lost item. Sadly I think he is the CEO/Founder - Geoffrey Lardy, which I found online. This company only seems to care about volume bookings and crew tips NOT customer service!! There are so many other reputable and caring boat rental companies in Miami - I suggest choosing another one!! read more

I booked a jetpack session on viator at 4pm on Friday. The online availability check said I could do it at 3:15pm and I got the confirmation and the voucher. However, the owner called me on Saturday morning at 9am saying I can only do it at 11am, which is two hours later. This is the coordination problem between the company and Viator, however, they want me to pay for that. They ruined my vacation in Miami. And I have to figure out what to do for my last day in Miami. Visited Miami for the weekend and my best man set me up to go flyboarding with AquaJet. Met Ron at the marina where he took us on a quick yacht ride to meet Amber and Jeff out in the water. Yacht ride was only a few mins and Ron gave us a nice tour of the sites as we passed. Ron was a real cool guy to hang out with.  Soon Amber and Jeff met us out in the water.  Amber operated the jetski while Jeff flyboarded in which was so cool to see for the very first time. Jeff gave simple yet clear instructions and in a matter of minutes, I was strapped in to the board and out in the water flyboarding.  It was so easy to pick up and learn.  I did the half hour flyboarding package.  While out in the water, Amber was able to pinpoint what I was doing wrong and she was able to give me additional instructions to polish up the technique.  In no time i was flyboarding with confidence.  I highly suggest that everyone should flyboard with Aquajet and learn this new sport.  The great customer service continued two weeks later when AquaJet was able to retrieve my video files since i originally did not get the video package.  Mylene was able to find the videos and send them to me. I was planning a trip to Miami in mid August 2013 and wanted to propose to my girlfriend, so I contacted the guys at Aqua Jet (Geoff and Alejandro), who were extremely responsive to all of my emails, and had great communication throughout the booking process. i wanted to try the Jetlev, but also wanted something special that night so I could propose to my girlfriend. Geoff coordinated everything perfectly, and made it a very special event for the 2 of us, these guys are great - the training for the jetlev was excellent and such a fun experience, they are knowledgable, understanding, and very helpful. My wife booked this for me as an anniversary present from groupon. When I called to book it, they said I was not able to book it on the weekend because that was reserved for full paying customers. The man on the phone was rude and told me if I didn't like it to get a refund. Why list it on groupon if you're going to treat customers who bought it there as second class citizens?
