If I could do 0 stars I would. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience. My friends and I had a ride with Jorge, and from the moment we got in the boat , the energy was off. He was not welcoming at all--no greeting, no acknowledgment, just a cold and uncomfortable silence. Throughout the ride, his tone and body language were extremely passive-aggressive, making us feel like we were a burden rather than passengers. It was honestly one of the most unpleasant ride experiences I've had. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely missing here. Surprised my husband for Fathers Day! I purchased on groupon and I reserved a month prior since I figured this was going to be a busy day!!! The online reservation process was very simple and easy. The confirmation email is very detailed and thorough on the boat rental details. We booked the 9:00am rental so when we arrived at 8:30am we had no problem finding nearby free parking. Loved how they sent out a text at 7:00am with instructions on who to call when you arrive at the property. They kindly greeted us and put our stuff in our boat rental which was very nice. They were very punctual and provided the children life vests and gave instructions on the boat when we jumped on. We rented 17 foot which fits 7 people for 4 hours. We really enjoyed the Miami river departure it is very scenic and relaxing. Since we have small children, we only did the 4 hour rental which was perfect since the children were ready for their mid day nap as soon as we put them in the car. Otherwise we might of liked a longer rental. Do note 4 hours goes by really fast! The boat was in decent shape but was definitely very comfortable. We previously owned a boat so it was nice to not have to deal with a trailer and washing the boat after since we have small children. THEY PRAY FOR RAIN... TO STEAL YOUR MONEY! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! I had a reservation for a rainy day (06/02/24). An ethical business would have canceled all their reservations for that day, but not these folks. I knew that if I canceled I would lose my money, so my family and I went for my daughter's graduation, despite the rain. After we paid Captain Angel Petit $140 for 4 hours of service through Zelle and we were about a quarter of a mile away from the pier on the Miami River, the captain suggested that we should reschedule for a different date because of the bad weather. IT WAS CLEAR HE DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE. I told him that if that is what he wanted to do as captain, then we would follow his direction. As a consequence, he turned the small boat around and returned to the pier. Despite telling us he would contact the company on our behalf upon our return, he simply told me to contact the company to resolve the issue and that the $140 that I had just paid him 20 minutes ago was nonrefundable. Upon my return home, I contacted the company as directed (via email) and the response I received was that all my fees were non refundable because it was my decision to return to the pier due to the weather. Clearly, this result is unacceptable as I made sure that it was the captain's decision as the CHIEF OFFICER ON THE VESSEL to return to the pier not mine due to the weather. Under those harsh rainy conditions, it would have been illogical and dangerous to disagree with the captain's advice. In no way am I responsible for having canceled this trip and I am expecting a full reimbursement of all fees paid. read more

Just a beautiful sunny way to spend an amazing afternoon! We went out on a 16' boat for 2 with Juan. Fare was reasonable for 2 hours and definitely worth it! Juan was a decent driver, did a little speeding to add to the adventure but this was a calm, very romantic ride. We sat back and enjoyed a couples ride. Juan gave us his phone to play the speaker with our music choices so we DJ'd our ride. Juan navigated away from the larger vessels and we felt safe. We didn't get too too wet, although we did have to change after so just be prepared for that. We brought a bag of snacks. They provide "champagne " but it was a very cheap brand- don't expect quality there; I waited too late to ask about the choices we were already out on the water. Michael is awesome and really made my mom's birthday one to remember! He was patient in answering all of our questions and explained everything we needed to properly run the boat. He even showed my mom and I a super awesome snorkeling spot where we saw crabs, starfish and tons of beautiful fish! The boat is a little tricky to run at first but after a couple minutes you get the hang of it and it is so fun. I definitely recommend going to the sandbar if you have a six hour boat rental only, it takes some time to get there from the boat dock. Thank you again Michael!! So happy to find a reasonable boat rental business in the heart of Miami! We love visiting the city every year and now we have a pretty reliable spot to rent a smaller vessel (because we are not looking to rent whole yachts) their customer service delivery was great and no hassles, very accommodating as well. We originally booked a boat for four hours, but we asked to extend the time if nobody else was booked after and they obliged. The experience they provided when they let US drive our own boat was phenomenal because we got to experience Miami custom for us as we got to go to haul over sand bar, key Biscayne , and generally rode how we wanted. I like that they will in fact provide a captain to drive you around (if that's your thing too) but I appreciated doing business here with them and I plan to return to them when in town again! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I booked this trip for my honeymoon with my wife. On the day of the ride, I noticed that the forecast was rainy windy, the the tide was crazy. I mentioned this to the business owner, he said I had to show up to the appointment where the captain will make the call on whether or not to go. The captain is obviously being pressured by this business owner to do the ride so he gets his money. The entire ride the captain was telling me how this weather wasn't suitable for a tour. As soon as we made it out of downtown, we hit tides that were so rough the boat was hopping up and down in the water. Water was splashing into the boat soaking us. Then afterwards it started to pour on us. We were too busy flinching the entire time to have anything resembling enjoyment. The business owner had every opportunity to: - Reschedule the trip for another day - Cancel the trip and refund it, knowing that the experience was going to be terrible for the customer. - Refund me after the fact, knowing that my experience wasn't positive I told him multiple times throughout the day that the conditions were bad. We had been to the beach earlier and felt the winds that were 20mph with 35mph gusts. Instead, he chose to force me either to go or lose my money. Then when the inevitable happened and we got into rough waters, he gives you the generic "Weather is very unpredictable in Miami and it is something that is out of our control." 0/5, would give negative stars if I could. We arrived at the 2600 nw 18th terrace, 10 minutes late . Had to turn around park 3 blocks away and walk to the address. When arrived Walter asked " did we book on Groupon". We said yes . He said "Figured". Walter was very rude and dry. All five of us got on this old dirty boat and we would've took the tour until Walter stated that the blue tooth speaker did not work. This was promised to us as a part of the booking . We did not bring a speaker because the booking stated that it would have one in there. This was my birthday weekend and we brought food. So not only was Walter rude but he did not accommodate the speaker . We did not pull off from the dock which is behind a house . Once we stated that we wanted to cancel the booking he said " I'm going to tell them it was a no show ". That was a great big Lie and unprofessional . This was a terrible experience and I wouldn't want anyone to go through that . It shouldn't matter our race or how we booked . Then when you call their customer service line Laura will ignore your calls and hang up. The email response from the company was " you were late and the captain considered it as no show". I booked a night tour for my boyfriend's birthday last Sunday night. Our guide Michael was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A bottle of champagne is included for customers who are 21 and up. Unfortunately we were the last tour of the day/week so there were only two flutes left and mine was broken so I had to switch to a solo cup. Not the biggest deal but couldn't take a photo with our champagne flutes against the skyline. Michael offered so many tips about things to do on our stay and had patience when taking and retaking our photos. It was a smooth and wonderful ride. Would definitely recommend and would definitely do again. Tip: sign the waiver online before arriving to save time. Took my family out there on a Saturday for Mother's Day Weekend, they had trouble with another boat so we were delayed getting started by 40 minutes but they allowed us to come back later so we got our time. The staff was all super friendly, we asked about charter boats for the next we go, as we will definitely be back. Only thing I recommend is going for at least four hours as is almost an hour round trip from were you start to the bay. Definitely worth trying and you will see for yourself. read more

Honestly, a pretty decently priced experience. I happened to get my deal on a Groupon but it seems like they are constantly running deals to brew business. There are a couple of scheduled times in which the boats embark but I'm sure the view is spectacular regardless of whether you choose day time, sunset or night time. We had the options of two tours: famous celebrity homes or the miami river-Biscayne Bay tour, of which the latter we picked. And what a nice detailed view of the Miami river it was. it was a smooth ride throughout, Archimedes was our captain and he did a great job of getting us too and back safely. We cruised for most of the time which is perfect for sipping the complimentary champagne. It's good to note that they allow you to bring any additional alcohol that you'd like. Other tips, suggestions or observations are as follows: Be advised that you get more wet in the front of the ship than in the back. But it does provide the better view for sight seeing. It can also get pretty cool/breezy, particularly for the night tour, so dress accordingly. It's important to know that the captain's fee is not the tip. It is not included, which is good to know for anyone like myself who does not rent boats all that often. So bring additional cash if this is your preferred form of payment. If you leave the wad of cash at home, fret not, as they do take other digital forms of payment. I can not stress enough to get the weather insurance. It saved our butts from losing out on our tour (we booked a month in advance on the day a tropical storm decided to take its talents to Miami). Bruschi boat rentals were very accommodating, which relieved me of much stress. Definitely a costumer friendly business in my book. read more

I've purchased 3 different times their boat service and each time there has been a problem whether it's taking 3 days to answer Back , communication problems , price changes and employees trying to upcharge you so they can pocket the money. I had reservations made TWO weeks prior to Mother's Day and let their receptionist know that i found and bought a GROUPON this time and booked the date. I called Friday , 2 days before Mother's Day to confirm and to ask a few questions since this time my WHOLE family was going to want to go . And they CANCELED ON ME BC I HAD A "Groupon" ??? WTF . I spent about 1k already in the company and the owner had the AUDACITY TO TELL ME "i have someone renting the same boat for double the price " WTFFFFFF . THEN HE PROCEDED TO TELL ME HE WILL REFUND THE GROUPON for me and i have to pay 200$ more to use the boat . WHO THE F*** does he think he is . Then he said i can call his lawyer if i had a problem . Horrible customer service . BTW THEIR BOATS ARE BROKEN APART , THE SEAT LEATHER IS ALL OVER THE BLACE , dirty compartments , say that they have a cooler w water in them... they don't , it's just all they do is for money it's not even for "customer service " like they claim they have . So first issue, the owner calls to explain that they would like to move our reservation to 2-8pm instead of 12-6pm. He obliged that if not then it was okay, but asking in the first place was an issue for me. I understand issues happen with boats, but we were unable to adjust. Second issue, we arrive and our "Captain"Archimedes is not even prepared with the boat ready (not cleaned, undocked) Due to this we left at 12:30pm which is 30 minutes past our scheduled time. Third issue, Archimedes mentioned his payment just as we were leaving. I signed a document knowing that we are paying you, do you have to restate it and mention the non optional 10% gratuity?! It takes 45min just to get from Bruschi's dock and to open water! Almost 2 hrs of our rental time of our 6 hour rental. We go to one sandbar and it's not bad but nothing special. Archimedes then takes us to another sandbar filled with loud music and partiers. We are a small group with children. As a professional you should know what's appropriate and helpful for children as well as any age of guests. Fourth issue and probably the biggest issue! Archimedes was texting on his phone, Instagram , etc while DRIVING!! We have children on board and this is a MAJOR SAFETY issue. I understand while anchored being on your phone but the ENTIRE TIME he was on his phone! He kept swerving and trying to adjust because his attention was not aware of driving the boat! All of us on the boat had a problem with this! Unprofessional and very dangerous! We tried communicating with him multiple times but he was so immersed in his phone, he wouldn't even hear us! Fifth issue, when I stated I needed to go to the bathroom, Archimedes said "I couldn't go and that he hadn't either". It's your job! We had 2 hrs left! That was at 4pm! Like how have you made your guests comfortable on your boat?! Sixth issue, we are not asking that you have to be our friend but Archimedes didn't provide a level of service that welcomed us. He didn't really want to take us anywhere. When we asked, he said that the two sandbars was it! We had to basically ask multiple times to take us somewhere else! Like we are paying for the boat, gas and captain! Once again this is your job! Not a joy ride to take people while your go on Instagram and talk on the phone! Seventh issue, the gratuity is 10% of your total not the captains fee. This is not indicated anywhere that it's 10% of the TOTAL rental just says 10%. That's deceiving and misleading. Also Bruschi check your contract because what's stated on there versus what the captain asked for is different. Final issue but pretty much expected at this point...we arrived back at 5:30pm! 30 minutes early! I paid for 6 hours we left at 12:30 and arrived at 5:30pm that us 5hrs!! You stole an hour from me. I feel I should at the least be refunded that hour. The entire trip was just okay, but definitely not returning and hopefully this review will help Bruschi Rentals make the necessary precautions and proper training for their "captains". Great service! I rented the boat to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was everything I expected! Laura was great over the phone and gave me a better deal than the Groupon. Our driver Bernardo was so kind. We rented the 17 ft boat which was a Bayliner Element. It was only 5 of us (6 including the driver), and it was spacious. I was a bit skeptical after reading many reviews but realized how flawed and personal those reviews were. For boat rentals generally gas and captain aren't included unless stated. I guess Bruschi should have made that more than clear on Groupon (but if they did their research before purchasing they would know this). Being in South Florida you get used to working/dealing with people who speak different languages. Patience is key, people! So, writing off people or companies off because one person's English isn't "up to par" is unacceptable. If you can't handle it South Florida isn't the place for you. read more

My experience with this place was very bad. However I booked a tour through this company in Miami. A 2 hour private boat tour. On the day of at approximately 1:00pm, I a paying customer establishment to inform the owner/staff this it was a bad rain storm and I didn't not feel comfortable being on the water during a rain storm. The owner/ employee attempted to convince me that it was safe to conduct the tour during the rain storm. I refused the option due to safety issues, and even if it did stop storming the entire boat was soaked, so I asked for a refund, the owner/ employee became irate at the moment and told me to get the fuck out of the establishment. He than informed me to contact the office for my refund but refused to give me information on how to do so. The owner/employee is was a small man maybe like 160lbs about 5'7 inches in height as he was walking me to the exit he kept referring to me as you people & people like you, giving me reasonable belief that this man behavior was motivated by racism and that why we couldn't reasonable solution. This company has some ignorant in competent employees.
