So far this place has been good. This place has not been crowded the last two times I went, however I did only go around 4pm to 6 pm. I am sure it was busier during the noon time. The food price here are decent. Check in is easier since there are two line and one line is for pass holder. The water looks decent. Parking is easier if you go in the evening time since most people already left. There are some shaded areas that if you okay with walking a little more then can park there. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed this swim park, I loved it so much I may just become a member next season, my 2 nephews enjoyed it as well, I was able to find a chair with no problem to sit when I needed a break, the food at the concessions stand was reasonably price and I felt safe with all of the lifeguards in place. read more

Aquaport is like Raging Rivers but way closer. Aquaport is like Six Flags water park put a weeeee-bit smaller and more civilized. The picnic/concession area is pretty well stocked if you like that sort of stuff. A took a couple of kids and they had a blast! Plenty of lounge chairs to sunbathe and the changing/restrooms are decently kept (considering soaking wet, barefoot, hyper children running in and out all day) it could be worse. My husband and I went to Aquaport for the first time last night because it is half priced after 5pm. We really enjoyed it!! We were there on a weekday evening and lines were extremely short/non-existent. All of the staff and lifeguards were friendly. We didn't notice dirty water like other reviews have claimed. This is a public pool so I'm not quite sure why anyone would expect it to be absolutely pristine. We'll go back for the half price tickets again! read more

Filthy and UNSAFE. They don't seem to have a maximum capacity or abide by one. There were so many people in the pool, we were constantly bumping into each other. Someone could easily drown without lifeguards noticing with that many people in the water. The water was cloudy and had debris I. It. There was trash all over the pool area. They also allow toys like water blasters and noodles. My 2 yr old was blasted in the face by one. It was chaotic. A fight broke out about an hour after we got there and ultimately they closed for the rest of the day. We will never go back. read more

While this place can be a bit over-run with kids, it is important to remember that is a waterpark which operates in the summer time. It is staffed by typical high school age kids, who do their best to keep us alive and floating/sliding. If you're expecting country club treatment for civic center prices, you'll be sorely disappointed and should probably spare us and the staff your presence. The pools are awesome, and lazy river is huge and very exciting. Slides are very cool for a civic pool, some of the best in the area. They have 4 of them and they are very diverse. One is really fast, one is completely covered, one is done with a tube and the other is a tandem set-up for younger/smaller folks. If you're a resident, there are normally specials on season pass pricing, look for them in January/February. This is a great place to go relax and cool off. While crowds can be an issue, it doesn't invalidate that this is a fun summer hang out. read more

20 minutes after we get there, a kid throws up in the pool and the whole park is shut down for an hour, very disappointing. Then, 1 hour later, a little kid hits his head on a slide and they shut down the WHOLE park. Explain to me why you shut the whole park down if one kid hits his head on a slide because I'm just not getting it. He wasn't majorly hurt or anything, he was laying on the ground and responsive. He got up 10 minuets later and was fine. The park is extremely small. Only 30 minutes had passed before we had rid ever ride. It got boring very quickly. This place was absolutely filthy. There was a dead frog on the concrete of the zero entry pool, disgusting water roaches in the water with a LOT of hair and other debris, and the water was so murky, you seriously couldn't even see the bottom. I was so grossed out, I just couldn't watch my kids swim in it. The place was either at, or above capacity. There was absolutely nowhere to sit. You'd see a family get up to go and run over to grab those chairs and there'd be another family there waiting and taking the chairs. The line to get into the lazy river was super long and nobody was there monitoring people asking them to get out and share the tubes for the other people waiting in line. So people were going around 4 or 5 times while everyone else had to wait. Also, a huge disappointment - the big bowl slide was closed the ENTIRE day. We will not be coming back for these reasons when there are places much nicer and cleaner - and CHEAPER - near here. Wapelhorst. Blanchette Park. Chesterfield aquatic center, just to name a few. Filthy. when we got there it wasnt too busy which was nice. However, the lazy river was gross. Hair, dirt and debris, and bugs clearly visible. There was some womans hair weave just floating in the water! when i told the life guard she didnt say anything and then another customer picked it up and put it on the side! WTF it takes a customer to pick up nasty floating hair weaves out of your filthy water? Also, the wrist band thing is annoying. my kids band falls off and we have to go back up to the front to get remeasured. Having to take time to go back up there each time is annoying. Why cant this be done in front of each ride? also some slides were unmanned. I saw one lifeguard manning two slides at once. How is that possible to ensure safety on two slides at once? this place is a joke. read more

I have a lot of trouble ranking this place. Though it is massive and has a ton of different "fun" things to do, it's kind of overrun with out of control children. Also, it's outrageous to get into, ($15 unless you are a citizen of Maryland Heights...ridiculous!). So, now to describe this fine water park of sorts. Aquaport was the first of the big pool renovations in St. Louis. Now, it seems every municipality has their own fancy pool. Since Aquaport has been around the longest, they have some really different things. Of course, they have the lazy river, which as I said is overrun with children. Just try to relax in this thing. I once even asked the lifeguard to please tell this incredibly obnoxious group of boys away from my friend and I, and he just stared at me like I had six heads. Great job keeping those kids in control buddy. They have some decent slides too, fast to slow and the lines are never that bad. But the best part, they have the big toilet bowl. Basically, jump in and start swirling around the tube like water in a toilet until it dumps you out the small hole in the bottom and shoot into the pool below. Talk about water up your nose, but hey it's still pretty fun! Generally, I like this place. It's clean and it's well maintained. I never feel gross getting in the water here, which is certainly a good sign. However, between the out of control children, the lazy lifeguards and the high prices, I just don't go here all that often. It simply is not worth it. read more

The slides are fun, the pool set ups interesting, and the lazy river is great (I had no trouble relaxing in it). My issue is with the lifeguards themselves. It is not their job to keep them from being rowdy next to other guests (complain to their parents); it is their job to keep everyone SAFE. I visited on 8/21/2011, and saw evidence that made me wonder if it was safe. I observed one lifeguard on the lazy river with an earpiece, apparently listening to music. He was yawning and appeared bored out of his mind. I watched him for a bit, to see if he continually scanned his area for problems, as lifeguards are to do every 30 seconds, turning their heads to make sure they haven't missed something. He never did anything but stare off into the distance, even when I passed right by him with my small son. While visiting the kiddie area, the slide dumps off into water that is about chest level. They had to have a lifeguard catch each child at the end, which meant that lifeguard (she was the only one at that level) wasn't guarding the rest of the pool. I would only recommend it for older children, or people who are strong swimmers, or for parents who are committed to staying with their children THE ENTIRE TIME. read more

Today was terrible. The wristbands they give the kids come off in the water and instead of just measuring the kids at each slide they make the parents trek all the way across the park up all the stairs and the stand n line in the heat to get remeasured. I had to do this three times so I asked for a refund because it had wasted so much of our time. They wouldn't give me a refund but they did give me passes to come back. The lifeguards were really rude and did not believe me when I said he'd already been measured twice. read more

Several slides of varying speeds. The Lazy River is big and fun, the downside is all the kids and their shenanigans. They have the big pool that had a depth of 4 feet certain spots. Also a water sprinkler/fountain at the entrance of the big pool. They also have a kiddie pool with a slide, bridge, little squirt guns so the kids can have some fun. All in all a fun time with the family. Definitely buy the season pass in February. You will save about $40 off the total cost. We definitely get our money's worth. We are there almost every weekend and some weekdays. I'm glad Maryland Heights has this. A great city to live in and swim in. read more

this is somewhat good place if you're looking to turn into an ice cube. the lifeguards seem to see that when there are many pool floats that are empty and they need to be taken out it's not their job, they show no interest whatsoever that it's a problem. as i was swimming in the concerning small pool area a friend and i saw a BLOODY bandage in the pool just floating around, i couldn't get any more disgusted than i already was. the music is so loud you can't even hear yourself speak. pool chairs are scattered everywhere and you have no place to set your things on a table, just the chairs. and they call it a "family friendly" place but yet there are others sitting on the ground in the middle of the water park touching each other sexually and it made me very uncomfortable. and all this shows that you shouldn't go there! it's poopoo read more

Its good for the kids, but it's over priced if you're not a resident. The slides are ok, the lazy river is alright a few times around. The music is constantly too loud though, it's a family park not a night club. I have to scream at my daughter to get her to hear me just when we're in the tubes relaxing. The lifeguards seem barely old enough to vote, but they have no problem blowing their whistles and shaking their heads at grown adults. I understand the need to keep people safe, but shakinf your head "no" and wagging your finger is patronizing to someone in their thirties with a child of their own. If you're going to "guard lives" maybe turn the music down and stop dancing in the slide platforms. Take your job seriously or don't do it. read more

Dirty water, staff doesn't care about anything. Kids run around like animals. Couple sitting next to me started smoking after they got done eating their nachos (no smoking allowed and no food by the pool) the staff stood and watched. It's pretty awful. We have gone their since it opened years ago and have seen things just go downhill. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

First off the staff was rude as hell. One girl at the counter named Jamie was rude and overcharged my 11 year old child and when I asked her to correct it she got an attitude and snatched the money and receipt out of my hand. I started to jump over the counter and beat her ass. The supervisor was just as nasty worrying about who my child came with instead of putting her employee in order. I got the change back but I will NEVER go back because not only are they expensive they even charge if you are not swimming.
