If I could give them a zero star I would!!!! We paid $165/mo and our pool was perfect until we hired Aqua Service Pool Service. Our pool became green and cloudy CONSISTENTLY. I husband got an ear infection and had to go to the dr for meds and this was a result of ALLLLL THE CHEMICALS they constantly put in our pool. Bryan, the Dir of Ops came out a few times himself and admitted to us that they put too many phosphates in our pool and it damaged our filter so they replaced it. The rept they give you ea week shows our CYA levels at '100' and it should be at 30-50 ppm!!! Because it's so high is the reason we get a lot of algae. Their report from this week also says they put in 3 chlorine tabs in our floater, and we have the box of chlorine tabs avail for their use and ours and I checked the floater the day aft they were here and it was 'empty' so no tabs were in there as they indicated on the report!!! Bryan cancelled our svc this week and blamed us for the condition of our pool water! What a joke!!!!! He said we turn off our jets 'regularly on the weekends' which is NOT true. Our svc in on Tuesdays and Bryan 'rarely' had to come to our home on a weekend!!!! So to say this is ridiculous. I told him that because we have a 'revolving door' of technicians and that they are the ones who set the timer for the jets, that when (which is rare) he is here on a weekend, if he comes early and the jets are not on is because his tech did not set the timer properly. I told him often, on any day, at 9:30 am the jets are still not on so I turn them on manually and they eventually go off on their own later in the eve and the next day I begin the same process of having to turn them on manually. Bryan also blamed our dog for being in the pool and creating the condtiion of our pool. Again, bullshit!! Our dog is a small 12 lb dog and is rarely in the pool. He goes about 4 feet in and then is directed to the stairs to exit. He only goes in the pool when my husband is in the pool. I don't go in the pool, rarely and my husband only once in a while. We were also told by our tech that there is constantly stuff floating n the air like pollen that does this to the pool. Not true. We have neighbors and their pool is perfect so the stuff in the air is not hurting their pool. Aqua, accept the blame for what you did to our pool and know that the review I am writing is one of many reviews of its kind written by others about your company. read more

It's unfortunate I'm updating my review but over the last few months, we had to switch pool service folks. It's pollen season so pollen has entered the pool cage and into the bottom of the pool. So why was there pollen at the bottom of the pool after the cleaning? There's stains at the bottom of the pool from the pollen. As a "partner", why wouldn't Aquaserv offer a solution into this? Why does calcium still appear 3 months later after I was told it would take a few weeks to get the balance correct? This is enough for me to move on. While I would reach out to Bryan for these issues and others, he'd get back to me but not address other questions I asked him. There shouldn't be this much follow up when you hire a company to do their job. read more

I just got off the phone with the manager of this company who called me a liar and told me he didn't want my business, to say they are unprofessional is not nearly enough. I came home from out of the country to find for the 4th week in a row that my pool guy left my gate open once again. Not only that he left my panel door to my equipment wide open in service mode. I was wondering why I couldn't access the system remotely, but due to being in service mode you can't access and it was running 24 hours per day. On top of that he didnt clean around or in my spa once again, an issue I have spoken to the company about previously. Have used AquaServ Pool Service ever since our pool was completed. Daisy, our technician, does an excellent job of keeping our pool looking great! Daisy is reliable, answers our questions when we need to know something and sends us a detailed report on what she did at service, complete with pictures readings and amount of chemicals added, if any. Bryan, the owner and his fiance are very nice, but I had a very unreliable experience with them managing 3 pools, two of which were vacation rentals. Their employees are just not very good. My personal home's pool had a brand new surface, and often it would not be completely clean. There would be some algae on the sides. My filter cartridge had a leak for 3 weeks, and I even let the tech know. They did nothing even though they advertised they repaired pool equipment. I eventually just made the repair myself. Took 2 seconds, but they wouldn't fix it. Another pool had a worn surface, and Bryan would always tell me that he couldn't get the pool consistently clean. I would take the water to Pinch a Penny, and I would have to buy hundreds of dollars in chemicals. Pinch a Penny was adamant that a worn surface won't turn your pool green every week. They said Aquaserv wasn't balancing phosphate levels. At my home, I used to have a worn surface, and it never got green. Most recently, his tech would leave the filter out of the cartridge, and then my skimmer basket mysteriously disappeared. Every time I confronted Bryan about it, it was excuse after excuse. I even volunteered to pay for twice a week service to make sure the pool stayed clear. They wouldn't do it. read more

We have had several different pool service cleaners. These guys go above and beyond and are amazing!! We have never had a pool service come out, do their job and then send us before and after the service pictures. If you want an 80% done pool, this is your guy! Just save yourself the stress and money, find another company. My pool was vacant for a few years and i paid this company several thousands for a new pump and filter, and to bring water clear. When we talked on the phone i wanted that pool to be at 100% working order, which is what he initially agreed to do. What i got was not that. I get it, if it ends up being a bigger job, man up and talk to the customer, because leaving them with a project isn't the best service, to which i thought going with Aqua Serv pools i was supposed to get. Paid for an "acid bath" to clean the surface, but i can take a rag and scrub what was supposed to come off. Instead i got "you're pool is shit" as the answer to why the surface is still slightly bad. Instead of saying "do you want a pad for this equipment, my $1,400 jandypump is sitting on dirt. I'm left with jets that aren't pushing any water, which causes the levels to be wrong. So my pregnant fiancé has to go and buy chemicals and put them in herself. Leafs still in it (not a lot, but enough to make you question why they weren't vacuumed) heck, he didn't even get me a skimmer basket cover! You would think the company would call the customer and say "hey this jet isn't working, it's gonna cost this much more to fix" or "hey, you need a skimmer top, gonna be about $45 more" but because the water was balanced the guy assumed the job was done, but we're still swimming with all the dead algae. To which i was told i have to be the one to clean the pump out and the particles "will come out in two weeks" that's not what i paid this company for. So now I'm awaiting another quote from another company for my pool to be 100%. So save yourself the trouble and find another company. Because if these guys are going to sleep at night saying these jobs are 100% complete, there's no telling what nightmare i could be saving you from. read more

I recently had a pool remodel spent 50k to do this. I was given a specific instructions for chemical and how it need to be maintained for the startup and specifically what chemicals to use. Bryan and his team doesn't seem to follow instructions or can't and what chemicals to use so that my warranty is not violated. When I try to work with the supposed owner of this company I receive sarcastic smart ass text messages from this man. Folks he may be able to maintain your water but I would not have them work on anything else for you. When you try to have a conversation with them this individual seems to think he is paying your mortgage. Just saying folks beware. 0 starts here but won't let me rate that low. read more

I have had many pool services over the past 20 years. Bryan and his team were the best in maintaining my pool. Reliable, consistently did a good job and responsive. The technicians were knowledgeable and professional. I know longer have this service because my Monthly price was raised several times in a year and the final straw was on the third price increase seemed unreasonable in the sense of the word- we were required to post a credit card from day one and then announce later that there would be a 3.5-4.% credit card surcharge. I understand that many businesses attach a service charge for using a credit card but I feel some charges shouldn't be passed on to the customer. If you want cash or checks mail your customers a bill , everyone is not comfortable with emails. Also, Find a credit card/ Merchant service that is not so pricey. Again I would like to say AQUASERV / Brian? Bryan did the best job maintaining my pool but the way the financial situation is handled leaves much to be desired. **DANGER**These are the guys that move to Florida to make money robbing little old ladies. Brian gave us a quote on replacing a valve with a new valve. He knew the property was not owner occupied so he just rigged the old valve to kinda work and charged us the same. When we confronted him about it he started stuttering and made up a story.
