Area around my spa that was not cleaned
    Robert M.

I just got off the phone with the manager of this company who called me a liar and told me he didn't want my business, to say they are unprofessional is not nearly enough. I came home from out of the country to find for the 4th week in a row that my pool guy left my gate open once again. Not only that he left my panel door to my equipment wide open in service mode. I was wondering why I couldn't access the system remotely, but due to being in service mode you can't access and it was running 24 hours per day. On top of that he didnt clean around or in my spa once again, an issue I have spoken to the company about previously. When I spoke to Bryan he basically told me I was lying and he didnt want my business. I have attached photos.

If you want an 80% done pool, this is your guy! Just save yourself the stress and money, find another company. My pool was vacant for a few years and i paid this company several thousands for a new pump and filter, and to bring water clear. When we talked on the phone i wanted that pool to be at 100% working order, which is what he initially agreed to do. What i got was not that. I get it, if it ends up being a bigger job, man up and talk to the customer, because leaving them with a project isn't the best service, to which i thought going with Aqua Serv pools i was supposed to get. Paid for an "acid bath" to clean the surface, but i can take a rag and scrub what was supposed to come off. Instead i got "you're pool is shit" as the answer to why the surface is still slightly bad. Instead of saying "do you want a pad for this equipment, my $1,400 jandypump is sitting on dirt. I'm left with jets that aren't pushing any water, which causes the levels to be wrong. So my pregnant fiancé has to go and buy chemicals and put them in herself. Leafs still in it (not a lot, but enough to make you question why they weren't vacuumed) heck, he didn't even get me a skimmer basket cover! You would think the company would call the customer and say "hey this jet isn't working, it's gonna cost this much more to fix" or "hey, you need a skimmer top, gonna be about $45 more" but because the water was balanced the guy assumed the job was done, but we're still swimming with all the dead algae. To which i was told i have to be the one to clean the pump out and the particles "will come out in two weeks" that's not what i paid this company for. So now I'm awaiting another quote from another company for my pool to be 100%. So save yourself the trouble and find another company. Because if these guys are going to sleep at night saying these jobs are 100% complete, there's no telling what nightmare i could be saving you from.

Quality work and they come as scheduled. No worries! They've repaired when our equipment broke down.

Daisy does an amazing job as our pool is difficult to maintain as it is older and there are many leaves. They are reliable and professional.

Bryan did the best job maintaining my pool but the way the financial situation is handled leaves much to be desired.

Now there is a lot of amenities here at the aquatic center but the two big slides in the corner are little rocky. We decided to go down the waterslides when we first got there and noticed that both have flaws. There are wasp nests underneath the slides so you do see tons of wasp flying around. The swirl slide we took moves really slow so you have to push yourself at some point to keep moving forward down the slide. People were coming down quickly after you would get off the slides they got kind of close to landing in the water by us. The straight down slide you catch air midway, especially for a little kids you kinda stopped, touching the slide at one point. Now for the smaller kid area it was perfect for my five year old. They had little slides over there and even a medium kid slide as soon as you walk up nice splash pad a lot more slow pace and relaxing. they do have lifejackets there if needed for children. They also have a café where they serve Domino's Pizza and other snacks and drink options which we did get some Gatorade's and a whole Domino's Pizza, and for the price it wasn't bad.

It has a well manicured 18 hole golf course, nine more holes (27 total) gym, two pools, tennis courts and all that. It also has a clubhouse which is the focus of my review. First off, this is the ugliest clubhouse I've ever entered. Think Little Rascals He Man Woman Hater's Club if you're that much into club houses. Ugly brown crown molding, ratty carpeting, ugly beige walls and exposed wood ceilings. The lobby looks like a mausoleum too. After the ceremony in a non cool room (idiots turned on the heat by mistake), we were sent into the reception area, which was the south room and adjoining spaces. At least they actually had on the AC in here. Open bar and passed canapés as one would expect. Some of these canapés including bacon wrapped scallops stand out because they were AWFUL!! I almost spit out the spinach pie; I should've known better when I saw them drizzled with heaven knows what. Scallops over cooked and lousy...at least there was an open bar. After two dark rum and colas, I even had enough of that; cheap lo-rent swill. Salad was simple mixed greens with a slice of cuke, some red onion and a couple of CHILLED cherry tomatoes. Well, there was the next sign that the kitchen doesn't know what it's doing. Tomatoes are supposed to be room temperature; period. Dressing stop said salad was nondescript. For entrees the Queen Bee had crab stuffed grouper and I had filet mignon. Filet was bland but had a halfway decent demiglaze with it. Queen Bee didn't care for her grouper. Everyone else at the table seemed more or less okay with it. To be fair, I didn't try the stuff. Both entrees were accompanied by overcooked asparagus and bland rice pilaf. Blech! I'm sure the wedding party paid good money for this stuff. If this is any sign of how their dining rooms are, then kindly include me OUT of this club. I'd rather graze on the grass from the 10th fairway. The desserts you see are provided by an outside bakery so nothing to say here. Not really much worthwhile or positive to say about having a function here, either. Have it at Chuck E. Cheese or a bowling alley instead! Eh!!

The equipment is there, sure, but half of it looks like it's been through a few natural disasters. The locker rooms? Imagine a middle school bathroom after dodgeball, except you're paying for the privilege. Showers that smell like regret, lockers that may or may not lock, and towels thinner than conspiracy theories. Staff is hit or miss. Some are friendly, most look like they're one membership complaint away from walking out. And don't even get me started on the "personal trainers" who seem more interested in texting than training. Two stars because it's still a gym. You can technically lift weights and sweat here. But if you're looking for inspiration, motivation, or even basic cleanliness, look elsewhere.

This is a huge clean facility with nice staff, clean locker rooms, lots to do, and plenty of parking. We're just ordinary people, and we felt welcome. Countless machines! Benches. Weights. "Functional training" tires. A basketball court. A room for Classes. Trainers. We came for the three lane lap-pool and the hot-tub. We came mid-afternoon on a weekday. Several others were using the luxuriously hot hot-tub, too, and four of us had a pool lane to ourselves. A few other folks used the other swim lanes occasionally. We noticed showers and drinking fountains in the pool area. They had a steam sauna in the locker-room area, too, but we didnt use it this time. We'd say either of these LA Fitness clubs were good. Best company to add pavers, resurface, add new tile and replace our skimmer…read more I have nothing but great things to say about Five Star Pools. We've dealt with many contractors over the years when making updates to our house (my husband isn't handy so we have to outsource everything) and this was one of our best experiences. The manager of our project, Andrew, was a delight. I've learned that although other contractors may do a good job, they may not be great at communication or showing up when they say they will. Not the case with Andrew, the guy is a machine at communication. He responds very quickly to text and if it's a more in depth question he often picks up the phone and calls. Sid, the Office Manager, was also awesome to work with. We went to the showroom to pick out tile and pavers. It was an extremely quick and seamless process. She even sent us home with what we chose to look at it in our backyard lighting. I'll be honest, I only got two quotes before I started and they were very comparable. However, the communication and just overall way the project was handled by this company is what made them win my business. Another friend is completely redoing her pool, got five quotes and this was the best. Two companies didn't even call her back. It's amazing how so many businesses act like they don't need your business. Not the case with Five Star. They said it would take 2-3 weeks and it took 3 weeks with a hurricane interrupting their work. They were very clear upfront about delays due to weather and everyone who came out was respectful and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them.

I inherited a…read moresmall 30'x9' Pool with a cheaply painted interior, a dilapidated Birdcage Screen Enclosure, and a cracked/chipped concrete patio floor. I knew I would have to renovate the pool as the painted floor and steps inside the pool continued to deteriorate. I carefully researched the how's and why's of various pool renovation projects for about a year, then researched local Pool Renovation companies and their online reviews, and local and state professional licensing and accreditation status of each company. I then selected five companies and had onsite evaluations and estimates. After careful review, in July 2024, I decided to go with Five Star Pool. Why? Because Roman (Owner/Contractor) and Andrew (Project Manager) not only visited twice (but, explained in detail, how the company operated, project requirements, and timeline). Additionally, I had/still have, the extremely efficient and endearing support of Sid (Office Manager), whom I had the pleasure of meeting at least twice, to help me select the materials for the new pool interior (Pebble Sheen-Aqua Cool), Tiles, LED Lighting, Safety Railing (for the steps), and Patio flooring (Maldives Blue Marble), and a last minute decisions to replace the deteriorating white screen enclosure with a new bronze enclosure and adding mosaic tiles to the pool floor and steps. Throughout this approximately six week project (delayed one week due to weather), Five Star Pool and their subcontractors excelled in their constant professionalism, competence, respect for my property, and were always pleasant in their explanations of the various parts of the Project. Surprisingly quieter and efficient in their demolition and re-building of my new pool interior, enclosure and patio flooring; I was less stressed than expected throughout the duration of the project. The required permitting process, for the Enclosure also went smoothly. Minor issues/concerns have/are being handled as expeditiously as possible and with my experience with Five Star Pool, will be resolved to my satisfaction. Now, I have a beautiful/pristine pool, striking screen enclosure, and a gorgeous "cool in the Florida Sun" patio flooring (which I expect to continue during the next 3 "summer" months). My added pool tile mosaics which were perfectly applied, complements the overall beauty of my new pool. In Summary, I am very impressed with the overall project results with Five Star Pool: their staff and sub-contractors. I know I made the right decision in selecting Five Star Pool. They Rock!
