I really wanted to find a long term lawn care person... but this wasn't it. When I messaged for a…read morequote they did get right back to me. He came out relatively quickly and did a site visit to give me a bid although the day after he said he would initially be out which caused me to change plans and use two days to get bid. The bid was very reasonable - about an acre for 120 + grass removal. I accepted and he said he would be back Thursday or Friday the next week. Both days came and went then I got a message that he would be there Saturday... I was supposed to be off the 2 days he told me to expect him but was working on Saturday. When I came home the lawn still was not mowed. I then got a text and he said I hadn't accepted the invoice he had sent me via text. I told him I didn't know I needed to and asked about some extra charges on the invoice - as it turns out he accidentally added taxes for a few different locales on my bill. The bill was corrected and I accepted the invoice. He (or an employee) showed up to mow - almost 2 weeks after the initial bid and a week after the first scheduled time - but didn't bring their riding lawn mower and only finished about a third of the yard due to grass height. He notified me of the issue, told me he would be out the next day with his rider to finish. He did finish mowing the yard but since he was charging extra for grass removal he sent me a message saying he got all the grass up that his rider would pull up. I thought that was odd... I waited to pay until I saw the yard - and his assessment that he got everything up that could be was not true. There were sections of the lawn that looked almost raked and other sections that were thick with grass and without tire tracks through it. It obviously had NOT been driven over. I messaged him with pictures and said either to remove the grass removal fee or come back out and finish the job. He sent me a new invoice with a reduced amount and no further communication. I saw the other reviews, I understand the nature of the work and how things may need to be fluid as far as dates/times. I even would have been fine if he had simply said that he would come back out and finish picking up the grass... and I would have given him another shot. But collectively the missed dates for the bid, missed dates for the mowing, the first trip out being unprepared - despite having seen and bid the job, failing to finish picking up the grass and finally not coming out and finishing the grass removal - I just cannot do business with this kind of performance.. and I really wanted to. He did remove the grass removal fee, that was a positive...I regretfully cannot recommend this company and will be looking again.

Came out and did part of the requested work and said he would be back in a couple of days to…read morefinish. Still sent me an invoice for the full amount because he said he was doing the missed work "for free". Well that doesn't work with me because I asked for it ALL TO BE DONE and part of the initial bid. We went back and forth in messages and he agreed to complete the work and I finally paid. He never returned to complete the job and never communicated after. Had to hire a new landscaper. Would never recommend this company!!

Look at this patio they built for me. This patio is amazing! This is hardscaping genius…read more I needed the work done because the maple tree was too close to my house. They cut down the tree and hauled it away. Then they found the wires and pipes. Then they used a track hoe to dig up the tree roots. It was huge mess but they hauled it all away. They also dug up a really big flower bed. They moved valve boxes, augmented the soil, and planted bulbs. They smoothed the patio area and filled it with layers of gravel and sand. They measured the grade and made a plan for drainage. They brought blocks and caps and pavers from a local source. They built the steps, carefully fitting together the corner joints. Then they built the walls and glued down the caps. To place the pavers, they started with a circle and wove a pattern around it. They added a border in a contrasting shade. To make the pavers fit together, they had to cut each one with a heavy saw. Every piece had to be measured and marked and cut. They did it with teamwork and rapid precision. They sanded the floor with polymeric sand to seal it. Then they helped me move the furniture and hang the artwork. The project took less than a month. Every day they left the work site as neat as a pin. I paid them very well for doing this work and you should too.

Outstanding service! The price and quality of the work performed was nothing short of outstanding…read more My front and backyard was a disaster from overgrowth and blackberries. The crew took only a day to clean it all up. I was expecting 2-3 days to do the job as another contractor quoted. We are so impressed that we have asked them to care for our yard regularly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thanks guys, you are terrific! Oh...and my neighbors also Thank You for cleaning up my eyesore of a yard. Probably raised their home values a few percent.

I received a recommendation for this business from Yelp when I sought out help with lawn…read moremaintenance. I loved Tim, the owner, who came out for the quote. He clearly knows what he's talking about. Sandra in the office however is Prickly at best and frankly doesn't understand business in my opinion. Each quote that was sent was very different and I didn't realize that she had been changing the services requested in each quote and deleting the previous quotes. By deleting each quote so there was no record of the changes being made at least from the customer's perspective. I had one screenshot of the previous quote with the services that I actually talked to Tim about providing. He came out fairly quickly to give a quote for the work and we agreed that there would be a one time clean up fee and then a monthly maintenance package. Their system quoted all services in one quote but could not accept payment for both services in the same quote. However they sent one invoice to sign for both and they had to change it. That's when Sandra changed services that were being offered in these quotes. I made 50% payment for the one-time service spring cleaning. It was to include mowing, clean up, edging and trimming of the bushes. And that spring cleanup was the cost of one full month of Maintenance. Then in the maintenance package it was to include weeding and fertilizing (I believe twice a year maybe three times a year which would be fine), mowing, edging, bush trimming, trimming of trees (1x a year) and fixing my planter box with the right pH so i could grow vegetables. I can't see the quotes anymore because Sandra deletes them. Again Tim knows what he's doing and he clearly knows yards. The problem is who he has running his business she's not a good business person. Get everything in writing and keep every single word that you say to them in writing! They were several days late with the spring clean up. I made prepayment of the cleanup service and then when they finally came out I paid the remainder. They were going to automatic charge for monthly maintenance prior to the work being done. I asked if I didn't like some of the things that were done and they said when they do the cleanup they'll come and ask you to check the work and then you'll be able to approve it or disapprove it. During the time when they came to "mow my lawn" (because that's all they ended up doing) they broke my lawn wind spinners. While they were in my yard, a neighbor of mine approached and asked them to come over and weed her yard for $200-300. They were in such a hurry to make that side money that they did an awful job on mine. When they came to check in with me I told them that the grass was not low enough and that none of the edging or trimming had happened and asked about the other services that were going to be in the monthly maintenance package. The man who asked about the work progress and quality admitted that those things had not been done and said they would take care of them on the next visit. He explained that they were in a hurry so they could go take care of my neighbor who had just approached them randomly. They left and, in reliance on their promise that they would take care of the rest of the work, I made payment on the invoice remainder. However after talking with the guys about how the work was not done I also sent a detailed email outlining what was not completed in the visit. I was told it would be taken care of. Then I received a second email stating that I had not contracted for edging and trimming, even though I had the invoice to show that I did. Sandra claimed I was asking for services outside of the contract when I was asking for was what I had paid for. She kept wanting to do an additional quote with additional fees. She never sent anything to me but she kept saying she wanted to charge me more. I received one email asking when Tim could come out to work on the pH in my planter box. When I was able to respond and ask that to be scheduled I then received an email stating that I hadn't paid for edging and trimming in the cleanup and that they no longer wanted me as a customer. I tried to resolve the matter over the course of 10 days with emails back and forth eventually having to threaten legal action because I had paid for a service that was not done. They claimed that all the service in the cleanup was done --- it was absolutely not. Additionally they broke and took down all of my yard windmills that are used to keep the vowls (sp?l out of my yard. They asked me to send them an invoice of replacement and they would pay me back but I don't trust anything they say and will never do business with them again. Shady practices at best. Again Tim clearly knows what he's talking about with regard to Lawns and yards. But I do not recommend anybody do business with this company.

Hello, I would like to thank the company representative for…read moretheir very articulate description of the promised and paid for recounting of their appearance at the very end of the job to correct half completed tasks. However, they forgot to mention the following: 1.) The illegal dumping of agreed upon recyclable card board, the firing of the employee and the involvement of the police in the matter (see photograph). 2.) My personal offer several times, and their final acceptance of an extra 30% added on top of the original, all ready agreed upon, price by the owner and myself. 3.) My personal neatly reeled hose lent to the company to complete the required job tasks (see photograph) 4.) The explanation of how a weed eater with plastic nylon trimming line can cut over grown tree limbs as part of the job, with an inch or more thickness. (see photograph) Aside from some inaccuracies in your accounts, I wish you The Best Moving Forward.
