I'll be as candid on this review as he was with me. I reached out to Rhonel to interpret an employment contract. While I did not receive the answer I was hoping for, I believe he gave me a fair and professional assessment. To set your expectations, Rhonel is a straight-forward guy who likes to get to the point. He really doesn't care to know about irrelevant details which seemed to rub one 1-star reviewer in the wrong way. During my initial scheduling of the consultation, I experienced a bit of this when I tried to pin down an exact time to call. Once you get passed this though, I believe Rhoney will not waste your time. He will do the work fairly quickly. His rate was slightly higher than others, but he focused on what he needed to and got right to the point. He may also have given me more than the 1 hour I paid him for the assessment. He seemed willing enough to address all my concerns and explain in a way that regular people can understand. As I said, I got a different answer than I was hoping, even different from another attorney who was a friend. But because I had no prior relationship with Rhoney, I could trust that his assessment was as unbiased as possible. I kept in mind that contracts are open to interpretation. If they weren't, there wouldn't be opposing attorneys arguing in court every day but he gave me the info I need to make the best decision at this time. The reason for the 4-star review is not because I didn't get the answer I was hoping for. It's imply to say that his service was very good, but perhaps a little room for improvement when dealing with people. What else can we say except that he is an absolutely knowledgeable, labor attorney who really took his time to answer all our questions and concerns. Our adult son was going through a very difficult time regarding his previous employer, and all the events that had happened after he left the company. We were all able to do a Zoom virtual meeting as our son lives in Los Angeles. We hired him for some additional services after that meeting.
