In my humble opinion, friendly guy, but very pushy to accept a quick offer. If you want a quick settlement then this is the guy for you. If you are willing to wait to see what happens this might not be the guy for you. From what Ive seen lawsuits can take years, you have to find someone who will be patient with you throughout the whole process, I just felt that would not be the case with Jacob. I always knew not to trust the other sides attorney, but felt it was safe to trust my attorney, I guess I was wrong. I hired Jacob and Sims back in March of 2022. They assured me that my case was a top priority. From the beginning it was a full-time job just to get them to respond. They would set up calls only to not show up, not respond to emails, not return phone messages, or even provide status updates or basic information, etc. It's now seven months since I've hired them and absolutely nothing has been done. I really can't speak highly enough about my experience with Jacob Whitehead as my attorney at Whitehead Employment Law. After leaving a former employer I'm not the best of terms I was feeling absolutely down and out. Furthermore, financially, I was down and out. For the first time in my life I found myself worrying about how I was going to pay my rent and put it on my table for my family. Jacob took my case on with not much more needed on my end and then a couple of phone calls with his associate Erin and him. The back-and-forth between my old employers legal team and Whitehead Employment law did take some time as these things do. What was so amazing about working with Jacob and Erin is they were actually able to get me $8000 advanced just to put food on my table and to make sure my rent was paid based off of them feeling confident on the future outcome of what my case may result in. I've heard of such things with personal injury settlements but never have I heard of anything like this happening with a pending legal negotiation against a former employer.
