I called and spoke with Antwan. Told him I needed to have my whole pool made over. He sent someone out right away. Sent me a bid (which was fair and reasonable). I sent him a down payment. He dropped off tile samples. His crew drained to pool on wens, jackhammered it clean on friday, tile sunday, shot the gunite yesterday, and now it is being refilled. His crew were friendly, hard working and respectful of the property. The cat who is his field guy is very friendly and easy to deal with. This was a easy and extremely positive experience. We had AR Quality Pools (Antwan) remove and replace tile on our fiberglass pool. Pre-Sales - Very easy to work with Antwan and get an estimate and a quote. Before start - Ok at getting tile samples and getting colors - Good at choosing start dates - Super responsive to get the deposit ** Deposit given Start - After the deposit, communication slowed down significantly. - Start date -- no one showed.. had to ask and was told it was delayed, next day same issue, day 3 it started with pool draining and they didn't bring right hose (used ours) .. but started to feel less professional than I would have hoped. - Eventually started -- draining was incredibly slow but they did come and start the job, some communication issues on tile size vs tile area they were replacing but that was solved (could have been solved prior to job start but it was OK) -- issue was new tile a bit smaller than replaced tile. Actual Job - Good on tile install and grouting - Fiberglass patch job was not great -- small areas that are now painted white that looks like a patch Post Sales - Very poor still cannot get confirmation (30 days later) on grout color (Surprising never left any left overs but if I have to ever fix grout line will not know what brand or color. Same is true for coping color, and fiberglass patch color. - I have been texting Antwan for over 6 weeks now on this and there are a lot of excuses but no results. SUMMARY Need to manage this company more than I was anticipating, and the experience with Antwan pre-sales was very different than in post sales. Lessons I learned was to get Antwan to the job and walk through it before sending money (or whoever is doing the job). Hold some money back until get simple things like colors etc. read more

I needed relatively quick service to do some repair and tile cleaning while the pool was drained. I reached out to several companies for quotes. Antwan responded quickly, was very communicative, and had availability...unlike some other companies. He also mentioned that he did buffing, instead of bead blasting, which he claimed caused less damage to the tiles. We needed a full tile cleaning, including an in-pool table, and also re-plaster the underneath of the table, where the plaster had eroded and mold was growing. He and his teammate knocked out the project in under three hours. The end result? Like new tile and plaster. Honestly, you cannot tell visually that there ever was calcium buildup or chemical scum lines on the tile, at all. Amazing! To do it justice, I am sharing some before and after photos. If you're looking for poor quality work and service this is the right company, but if you're going pay thousands of dollars for quality work and service Do Not call this company. I contacted them for a bid to re-plaster our pool and their bid was lower, and unfortunately we went with them. We never saw the owner again, the work was never on schedule and the workers were all late whenever they showed up. When they were finally finished, they left a bunch of trash in the yard. I'm not sure if they even inspected their own work, because I found numerous things wrong with the grout and areas they completely missed. I'm still finding things they missed.
