My first call was to PPS, they've always treated me fair, went above and beyond, and displayed nothing but integrity. Nick showed up and within a couple of minutes found the problem. The breakers within the timer box had tripped. I had completely forgotten about those switches. Instead of making me feel stupid Nick waived the service fee and made sure my pump and heater were working well before he left. I can't tell you how much I appreciate having an honest company like Professional Pool Service and guys like Nick that I can always rely on. I won't use any other service!

The guy often came in and out within 2 mins. Not sure if he even checked or did anything to my pool. Today, I came out right after he left and checked the basket and it was not emptied with full of bugs and debris. I called and asked them to come back to do what they are supposed to do as part of their service and Ginger - (who is their receptionist I guess) said with full of attitude she needed management approval for that. And that I should not be upset at her and disruptively hung up while I was mid sentence. Fair assessment is that I was upset while calling but not yelling or rude. I simply asked them when they can provide the service they missed and all I received was attitude and rudeness, not even a simple apology for the crappy service . He dropped off tile samples. His crew drained to pool on wens, jackhammered it clean on friday, tile sunday, shot the gunite yesterday, and now it is being refilled. Before start - Ok at getting tile samples and getting colors - Good at choosing start dates - Super responsive to get the deposit ** Deposit given Start - After the deposit, communication slowed down significantly. - Start date -- no one showed.. had to ask and was told it was delayed, next day same issue, day 3 it started with pool draining and they didn't bring right hose (used ours) .. but started to feel less professional than I would have hoped. - Eventually started -- draining was incredibly slow but they did come and start the job, some communication issues on tile size vs tile area they were replacing but that was solved (could have been solved prior to job start but it was OK) -- issue was new tile a bit smaller than replaced tile. Actual Job - Good on tile install and grouting - Fiberglass patch job was not great -- small areas that are now painted white that looks like a patch Post Sales - Very poor still cannot get confirmation (30 days later) on grout color (Surprising never left any left overs but if I have to ever fix grout line will not know what brand or color. Same is true for coping color, and fiberglass patch color. - I have been texting Antwan for over 6 weeks now on this and there are a lot of excuses but no results. SUMMARY Need to manage this company more than I was anticipating, and the experience with Antwan pre-sales was very different than in post sales. Lessons I learned was to get Antwan to the job and walk through it before sending money (or whoever is doing the job). Hold some money back until get simple things like colors etc.
