We feel very fortunate to have found and been able to work with dRemodeling to renovate our kitchen…read moreand 2 bathrooms. Throughout the process we have been struck by the craftsmanship, attention to detail, excellent level of communication and clear desire to make us happy ("we just want to see you smile") that we have experienced. All of the other 5 star reviews have aptly captured the experience that we did, so I will not go into as great detail as I normally would. The design process was easy - our designer asked pertinent questions that helped us hone our visions and thoughts into reality. We felt seen and heard, in terms of defining our wants, needs, finances, etc. Demolition was extremely fast, and the teams made sure to keep the house as clean as possible throughout the entire process. Each person who worked on our house demonstrated a dedication to quality, and whenever an issue arose, it was rapidly addressed and remedied. The workmanship is noteworthy. When it came down to the final punch list, and fixing the minor details (I tend to be fastidious and overly observant about the detail work), there was no issue, and the work was beautifully completed. The billing and payment process is comprehensive, very clearcut and very easy to understand and follow from the outset, which also made the experience seamless. I would like to mention that dRemodeling has a cleaning team that they have clean the areas that have not only been worked on but also impacted by the construction. We found that they are now offering the cleaning team as a separate service, called dReal Deal Clean. It was a no-brainer to sign up for future ongoing cleaning services, knowing that they have the same ownership, and high standards. We will unhesitatingly hire dRemodeling for any future remodeling needs.

However, once we made the initial payment, the staging dates began to shift repeatedly. When the staging was eventually completed, it became clear that the space had not been properly planned for. It seemed like the furniture was selected without fully considering the layout of the home, which resulted in a disjointed final look. When we raised concerns, the response we received often felt dismissive, and responsibility was repeatedly shifted back to us. Over the following weeks, after multiple discussions, we were eventually able to get some of the furniture replaced. However, these delays pushed the project timeline back by nearly a month. As a result, the photographer was not able to come on schedule, and we missed the peak selling period of the season. To make matters worse, during the de-staging process, one of their team members accidentally removed or discarded the hardware for an expensive grill, causing additional damage estimated at several hundred dollars. Throughout the process, the Voila team largely denied responsibility for the issues raised. While they described their service as "premium staging," much of the furniture appeared low quality and inconsistent with that positioning. Overall, the delays, damages, and lack of accountability resulted in significant financial and timing losses on our end.

This is completely unacceptable and uncivilized behavior. There were several other spots open on the street but would rather get nearly into blows than park 10 further feet away. The Realtor and sellers will both be contacted about this incident. As my father asked: is this how Voila does business? Obstructing neighbors property and verbally berating them?

About halfway through the project, I was introduced to Sue by a broker who recommended her highly. From our first meeting, I was impressed with her organization and attention to detail. My parents had a large house with sixty years of accumulated possessions, antiques, furniture, china, and clothing. Two weeks prior to the sale Sue brought her team in to begin organizing everything. I watched Sue come in each day with her notes for each day's goals for setting up the house. By the end of that first day, and with each successive day, the chaos of my parent's possessions rapidly took shape and began to look like a fine department store, with items thoughtfully and artfully presented. My parent's estate sale took place over five days across two weekends. The sale was very successful. Following the sale, Sue and the team emptied the house, sorting items for consignment, donations or trash. Three days after the sale the house was completely empty and ready to be cleaned and put on the market. Sue and her team were wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend them.
