Being it was late in the afternoon he dropped off the gates and said he would return the next day. We noticed on one of the gates it was a foot too short also numerous areas that had damage. We took photos and sent them along with our concerns to him. His response was very angry and unprofessional , that's all I have to say about it. He came to our home the next day and took the gates and never returned to finish the job . So i even tried reaching out to have the job completed and was told no not interested too busy. We settled on a price which I believe was fair, it wasn't the cheapest quote that I got, but Jon and Orville made me feel more comfortable going with BS&T as you could tell from the questions they ask and comments they made that they knew what they were doing. We scheduled a date to have the work down and they met that date even with the add-ons that I did. Jon's crew is very professional, artistic and thorough in the work that they do. They are respectful, friendly and a joy to work with. I have a 118 pound dog who thinks he is the site supervisor, has to have his nose in the middle of everything, often playful and in the way, yet they were very patient and respectful of my dog. This alone goes a long way to demonstrate the kind of patience and respect they have for their clients. The end product was FAR above my dreams of what I had envisioned. It looks amazing, very professionally done, looks great and Orville and crews attention to detail is impeccable, they even cleaned up my yard of messes they didn't make. I saw on Yelp that they were reading/reviewing the request when I sent it, multiple days before. Did they respond? No. I followed up with some irritation that despite being recommended, they are doing nothing. What irks me is that they say they will respond 100% of the time - which clearly isn't the case. Why would anyone want to do business with them, when they have zero desire to return any message at all? Normally I avoid these types of postings - with just complaining without seeing results - but folks need to be aware of this supposedly "service."

However, Optimum Concrete has been one of the few subs we've worked with for our home renovation that have professional, on time, good at their craft and clean on the job site. They really are the best in town for concrete jobs. They care about their product and the owner himself shows up to the job site and works. Optimum poured a concrete wall for us, our pool dec, covered patios, custom bench and porches. They did a 5-star job and they'll be doing our driveway too. We went with a cheaper option earlier in our project and the work was subpar. They're not the cheapest in town, but they are the best.
