They did a fantastic job on our backyard in 2019! They installed turf and came up with a creative way to minimize the number of seams and minimize the amount of turf we had to buy. Our backyard is oddly shaped. The turf they suggested for what we were looking for was perfect; it feels great on your feet and it has really held up in the tucson weather! They also installed a bunch of pavers around the side of the house for our garbage and recycling cans to sit on. I was tired of pulling them through the gravel, and I'm so glad we had that done. Eddie and his crew did a beautiful job installing a flagstone patio and fire pit in our yard to replace an old sandpit area where we used to have play equipment for our kids 15 years ago. We contacted Eddie Lamdan at Tucson Professional Landscaping to install pavers on the north side of our home. The entire side yard was originally finished with crushed rock and unattractive plants and bushes. The process with Eddie was seamless, professional and very enjoyable. He keeps his appointments, shows up on time, communicates extremely well and follows through with every detail. One aspect about Eddie's business is the comprehensive and detail-oriented bid he created. The bid was thoughtful and complete and it gave us the peace of mind we needed to ensure there wouldn't be any surprises or cost adders later. Eddie also made great suggestions with respect to which plants would be best suited for what we were trying to accomplish on the north side of our house. Another surprise was that Eddie connected our irrigation system to the new plants. We had never used it before and he programmed it for us as well. The irrigation lines that he installed ran through heavy PVC piping for long life and extra durability. We absolutely love our new patio! We decided to do a flagstone patio in the area that we used to have some grass and are very glad we did. We also opted for a small area of artificial grass for our dogs - they totally love it and it looks quite real. I was reluctant about it, but no regrets at all. Eddie and his team were absolutely wonderful. Always on time, quality work, prices stayed as agreed upon ( no surprises)... Of course, there were "few unexpected issues" as they usually are, but Eddie handled everything very professionally and always made sure things are completed to our satisfaction. Eddie was easily reachable by phone/text and responded to my concerns even on his time off. Cutting a flagstone creates a lot (!!) of dust ! Much more that we ever expected. Hired Tucson Professional Landscaping to redo a poor pool hardscape project, that was originally done by an unlicensed sub with the pool company. Eddie and his guys had done some paver and turf work for me 9 years ago, so trusted they could do a good job. Well times have changed!. 1st labor shortages are making it difficult to find anyone to do a big job. Eddie fit me in and told me he would oversee all, and they wouldn't leave until I was satisfied. Well, a week in, they started another job and were obviously in a rush to finish. Layed travertine coping with anywhere from a under 1/2"mortar bed on end to over an inch on sides; Then to cover messy mortar line, with mortar smeared on travertine, they put a paint thin coat of grout over, which washed off with a hose (Thankfully, because was hideous). I ended up grinding out 1/4" of mortar and installing epoxy grout myself to make the huge line presentable. The coping was cut and layed uneven adding to grout line problems. They also layed a paver patio and walkway which has an unintended bend, and pavers are not flush. Also got concrete and oil on new pavers...some of which they replaced. For ledgerstone wall, Eddie didn't want to pay for available premade corner pieces (even though I offered to buy) and corners tuned out bad. Plus, he charged $3,400 more on contract than proposal, for cheaper materials than listed (straight edge travertine pavers instead of bull nose, and cheapest ledgerstone available), and tried to add extra at end for "change orders" he never told me about until asking for final payment. It was items we had discussed at start that were supposed to be included! Additionally, he required a 67% deposit before they started! I called Fast Eddie a Slimy Salesman, and meant it. From the start, he was going to take me to look at materials (never did) and had some great ideas(soon forgotten). Once I signed contract, it was a 'this is good enough' attitude. He was afraid to point out problems to his guys, so as to not upset them. I'm Still working on redoing their terrible grout job. They didn't even clean the line before starting and all sorts of stuff was embedded! Should have contacted ROC, but unfortunately any good masons in are hard to find, and I have run out of patience after 2nd go around. Fixing myself. read more

This is a review about the person who answers the phone and not their landscaping services. I called to get an estimate. The woman on the phone asked a LOT of questions, several unneccesary in my opinion. Then, she asked for my crossroads. When I said, "Why don't I just give you my address?" , she SCREAMED at me and accused me of being aggressive. Typical passive-aggressive stuff when someone is very aggressive and accuses you of being aggressive. You just lost a potential customer, TPL. If you can't hire someone to simply be nice answering the phones, why would I ever hire you to landscape my property? read more

Initial experience with them was pleasant. Knowledgeable and courteous- seemed to have good reviews. They weren't the lowest bid for the job but we felt comfortable paying extra for better service. We even recommended them to a friend who did business with them. Man, we're we wrong. Then we had issues with our turf installed by them and it's been a nightmare. They want to charge us almost 1/3 of our original install price to FIX and INSTALL new turf that would be FREE from manufacturer. So now the turf is being delivered by manufacturer and we have to pull it off the trailer ourselves. TPL was the most professional of the companies I had over to our house for an estimate. They were the most responsive and timely in terms of coming out, providing an estimate, and setting a start date. The other two companies, by comparison, fell short in terms of responsiveness and timeliness. The work performed by TPL was also excellent, and even though the team forgot to perform a couple of small aspects of the contracted work, all I needed to do was call Eddie and let him know that there were a couple of things unfinished and he had a couple of guys back out within a day to finish the work. I used TPL to install pavers on a large back patio over the summer. I loved the job they did from start to finish. It was a priority for me to get it done quickly and they finished a two-day job in one day by bringing an extra crew. We decided to use Tucson Professional Landscaping for our backyard. At first it went very well, but went horribly wrong by the time they finished. We had them install pavers, turf, and landscaping in our backyard. The pavers looked good during the installation. However after the installation we noticed that quite a few of the end pavers were not secured and would come up as you walked over them. The pavers went to the edge of the pool and they needed to grout those pavers. Grout ended up in several areas in the bottom of the pool. They did not fix it. The pool surface was ruined and needs to be resurfaced. I would have given this company a 1 star. However since the pavers look good with the exception of not securing many of them, I gave them 2 stars. read more
