ATTN: Construction WITHOUT Quality - RUN the Other Way Do not hire Williams and Sons -- especially Marc Williams, Marc Jr., Marcel, David Williams or Cindi. This was hands-down the worst experience we've ever had with a contractor. They clearly had no idea what they were doing. They didn't know how to pour a footer, left out rebar, skipped grout in the block cavities, and even cut bricks just to hide rebar they placed in the wrong spot -- which meant the bricks didn't fit properly. The result? A crooked, unstable mess with grout smeared all over the face of the wall like a bad joke. They dragged the job out forever, ignored concerns, and ghosted us when it was clear they messed up. We had to go to the Registrar of Contractors, and even after that, they refused to fix major problems. We gave them a final shot out of good faith -- and it was more corner-cutting, lies, and negligence and abandonment- the lies they even told the judge were unbelievable from people who claim to be professional- but they didn't get away with it- they have multiple complaints against them now, I wouldn't be surprised if they loose their license- make sure to check first! This crew is dangerous, unskilled, and dishonest. Avoid them at all costs. Protect yourself: check contractor licenses, look up complaints, and contact the ROC if you're already stuck dealing with them -- they were the only ones who helped. read more

1 star is too much! they poured a concrete pad and enclosed for AZ room. Concrete has the water running to the house NOT away. Waler come in under the walls into the room. I've sent pictures and they could care less. Filed a report with the Registrar of Contractors, P O Box 18243, Phoenix, AZ 85005-8243. After the owner ensured us we did not need a permit for our fence, following the installation we received a code violation from Public Works. 3 years into this nightmare we still have not received any response to our phone calls, and a visit to the their Business location we again were unable to speak with the owner. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USING CONSTRUCTION WITH QUALITY! Customer beware, our costs to the City of Tucson are on track to exceed the cost of the original job! read more

After being assured that permits were not needed to add a privacy screen to the top of an existing fence, we then contracted to have a decorative metal addition added. Following installation we received a code violation from the City of Tucson, pertaining to the decorative addition. We have reached out to the Owner multiple to no avail. The receptionist assured us he would contact us, and again we have not heard from the Owner of Construction With Quailty. Had 60 foot masonry brick fence contructed 14 months ago by Construction with Quality. I was pleased at the time. BUT this weekend, I discovered vertical cracks in the wall. I called the company & they came out. It is the neighbor's tree roots lifting the wall base. This company is digging a trench on my side, installing a herbicide at the base and repairing the cracks. They stand behind their work and coreect issues not caused by them. read more

We have used Construction With Quality several times now and can't say enough good things about Marc and his guys. They have built walls, repaired storm damage and fixed my roof. They do an outstanding job every time always paying attention to the minute details. The guys are always professional, courteous, hard working and meticulous. Bait and Switch. We had a contract with these folks, to build a wall and install a vehicle gate and opener. The contract stated exactly what kind of opener was to be installed. They were to install a well-known American brand of opener; about $1100 retail. They installed a chinese no-name knock off that sells for $200, that had no safety shut-offs or safety features at all. The owner of the company was contacted multiple times and he refused to honor the contract. We had to file a complaint with the AZ Registar of Contractors and they forced Mr. Williams to comply or face license suspension. He could talk a good line, but didn't show much integrity. I am a property manager here in Tucson and I deal with contractors regularly, but I will never hire this company again! We used Construction with Quality in April 2017 to build a carport. Before a year had past, I was pulling my car into the carport, and looked up to see some buckling of the wood. I contacted them, and they came out and did not replace the wood, but rather knocked in additional nails to tack it down and did some patching of the roof. Yesterday, as I pulled my car out of the carport, I noticed the shingle roll was unraveled on the roof. While upon appearance the carport looks great, it is now evident that there was a lack of quality in building my carport. Thankfully, I have a roofer in the family, who was able to come out and repair it. read more

Mark came to Casa Grande and gave us a free estimate and review on a property we were looking at buying to Rehab. The property had lots of things going on with the foundation which was heaving and moving. Mark didn't charge us for the 120 mile round-trip commute and told us that he didn't think he was the best resource for this particular job AND referred us to another company. Mostly decent reviews led me to accept "Construction with Quality, Williams and Sons" quote to remove and replace a section of driveway that had been crumbling following a sloppy repair by the phone company years ago. Marc was prompt, polite, explained their process, and shared suggestions. They were to remove a 12x10 section of the driveway, haul off the debris, lay forms, and pour a new slab the day after. Marc's quote of 1520$ was very reasonable, with the final cost being close to 300$ more due to 'unforeseen circumstances involving extra cost or labor', (giving me pause to consider other reviews questioning this as a means to automatically jack up the price...), however, the final price was still close to reasonable in my opinion. Bottom line, I was happy with the end result. The men worked hard, completing the job and cleanup in two days. Marc and/or his cousin came to supervise and help out both days. Everyone was friendly and respectful. Prior to driving on it, I did notice some hairline cracks in the slab, and they came right out to look at it, assuring me they would make the job right if they worsened.
