I just moved to Aurora and needed to make a copy of my roommate's set of house keys. There are two: one regular key for the main door, and then a smaller one for the glass door on the outside. I went to THREE different stores (one being Home Depot) before coming here and they all just didn't have the smaller key on stock. I came here and the staff helped me quickly and smoothly. Went ACSC after I called a bunch of locksmiths and they could never quote me a price or tell me if they could cut my F-150 keys without looking at them. I called ACSC and they said "yep, we'll cut them". They gave me a very honest estimate, not $135 per key like another guy was quoting me. And oh yea, I bought these keys on Amazon, so I knew I was taking a risk. I went in on a Thursday afternoon on my lunch and within 10 minutes I had two newly cut keys. Despite claiming to own the machine, not a single locksmith in Castle Rock had the professional skill and/or confidence to cut a simple blade key. I had to drive all the way to ACSC's Aurora location, but they had me in and out in 5 minutes for $5. If a competent, professional locksmith ever opens up in Castle Rock, they should be able to put these amateurs out of business. For those that are curious, the Vespa key system isn't coded by copying transponders, it's coded by the ECU in the engine in a simple programming procedure. I only needed a simple blade cut with any basic key cutting machine made within the last 100 years and a professional that knows how to use it. My Master Key is used to start a programming sequence with the ECU for additional Slave Keys. This unique system made the self-serve kiosks and the copying machines at the hardware and department stores useless. Two of the top locksmith companies in Castle Rock claim to have this standard cloning machine, but not the professional skill to use it. Thank goodness for the professionals at ACSC! Long story short, the key was a perfect copy and I had it coded do my Vespa's ECU in about 10 seconds after getting home. read more

I wanted to go to a brick and mortar business instead of a kiosk and found this place online. Easy to find in the Walmart parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff. I thought I had defective keys but they talked me through what the issue was and I ended up needing less than I thought I did. They quickly made my two keys and had several fashion ones to choose from (a little on the expensive side for fashion.) Saturday morning our doorknob on the door from the house to the garage stopped working. I searched the web for how to repair it. I really could not find anything that would restore it to working order. As we had several family members transitioning in and out over the next couple of days, it was going to be a bigger nuisance than I was willing to accept, so I decided to contact a locksmith. After some research on Yelp, I selected Arapahoe County Security Center. When I reached out, they notified me that Saturdays automatically go into an overtime charge per hour and that if I could wait until Monday it would be a cheaper visit/repair. I elected for a Saturday repair because of the high weekend traffic we were going to have. The technician, Wolfgang, contacted me very quickly. I described the issue. He reminded me of the Saturday rates, but asked me to send a picture of the doorknob latch mechanism (the knobs were removed). He called me back immediately with a diagnoses of the problem, told me that I could pull the latch out myself, and install a new one from any hardware store for the cost of about $10. It was bit of a trick to remove the latch, and I had to contact Wolfgang for some confirmation, but it came out. The new latch, which cost me $7.37, was installed and everything worked perfectly. I was ecstatic. I have to say, while they didn't make money for providing services on me today, I will always recommend and choose this latch company. While I did not speak with the owner, Sheila, she clearly hires knowledgeable people, and fosters an environment of integrity and one of relationships. I highly recommend them for their knowledge, quality and skills, as well as their integrity! read more

I took my 1968 Mustang to their shop because the hubcaps had after factory locks installed (not locking lug nuts) and I didn't have a key for them. Great company. I bought a used vehicle and there was only one key. So I bought a FOB on Amazon and thought I could just have it cut and programmed. I thought since I'm doing my used car key I might as well get a spare for my other vehicle. Inquired with Yelp and found Arapahoe County Security Center.
