They totally helped me out! A home we bought had a wall safe but they didn't leave keys for it. Fortunately the door to the safe was left in the open position so I was able to remove the door and bring it in to the locksmith. They were able to make keys even the manufacturer no longer had the specs to make (because it was so old) and they worked beautifully. I'm so grateful! read more

I needed to replace two key fobs for my 2014 Chevy Cruze. I started by contacting the closest Chevy Dealership, Ed Bozarth Chevrolet for prices. The Service Consultant advised for each key I would be charged and $80 to program each. A total of nearly $500 for two keys. I visited Arapahoe County Security Center and asked them if they could make two keys for my car. They didn't even flinch. They told me it could be done and it would be $110 each for key and programming. They told me it would take a week to get the keys. I received a call the keys were in, I stopped by the next day and my keys were cut and programmed in 15 minutes. Not only that, they give me a better deal on the keys then my original quote. Two keys and programming $200 with tax! No matter what you need for keys, locks safes and security, this is the only place to go, period. These guys are awesome and honest. I brought in a lock from a old Chevy. I thought the pins were worn out. The guy went to the back while I waited to talk to anther guy. In about a minute the first guy returns with my lock. All it needed was lock oil! He could of waited 20 minutes and said he replaced the pins. No way I would of known the difference. They didn't even charge me for the lock oil. The least I can do is write these dudes a 5 star review. Have to respect a shop that has so much knowledge. And is honest. Can't beat that. read more

The guys at Arapahoe County Security Center were very helpful in guiding me with the most cost effective way to re-key the locks at my new home. I stopped by to ask about pricing. They told me their rates for coming to my home for re-keying, and then recommended that I bring the locks in for re-keying since it was the cheapest option. They even said that they'd be able to talk me through the removal process over the phone if I needed. Once I get the locks to them the quickly re-keyed them and provided with me with brand new keys and copies for all my locks. Also, they were able to do all of this very quickly and a few days before Christmas. I highly recommend these guys for any locksmith questions and/or issues. :-) BK read more

I had a technician come out to fix our sliding door lock. He fixed the locked; however, within 6 weeks the lock didn't work. I called to have it repaired only to find out that I would be charged the full price to fix it because the work is only guaranteed for 30 days. I attempted to call two weeks prior to have it fixed which would have put me in the 30 day window only to be told that they couldn't schedule me and to call back. Poor follow through when things go wrong....very disappointing as a home owner. read more

I recently called upon Arapahoe County Security Center Inc. in Aurora, Colorado, to install an access control system on the main entrance to our business. This was done to add security for our office employees. I had first contacted a different locksmith vender that was closer to my business. He surveyed the job, left me with, I'll do some research and get back to you", then never did. That soured me with that business. I then contacted Arapahoe County Security Center in Aurora, requesting a tech respond to analyze the job and provide a written estimate on parts and labor. The tech "Trent", followed through with everything in a timely manner so I could review everything. The estimate was fair and broken down so I could see exactly what parts would be required and estimated labor charges involved. Once I excepted the estimate, the job was scheduled and performed. From my first call to their office, to the completed job performed by Trent, everyone I dealt with was professional and it was apparent that they knew their job and did everything to handle my needs. What more can a customer ask than that? I fully would recommend Arapahoe County Security Center, Inc to anyone needing building security, surveillance cameras or locksmith type work. They do it all. I have nothing but great things to say..my 12 year old son bought a blank key of his favorite football team, to have his own house key. You would think I was trying to steal a car to get this thing cut...if you didn't buy it here we can't cut it...can you sign this waiver in case it breaks the machine..ok I get it but really? Walked in here, told them my story, and in 5 seconds key was cut. He said he wouldn't even charge me because of all the drama and it was for my kid. Took two ATM's in to have a new lock put on and another lock opened. Spoke with Tony. From the start Tony was cocky, arrogant, sarcastic. So I was sarcastic back. Turn around time was great had the ATM's back the next day. Went in to pick up the ATM's and no lock on one of the ATMs? Tony neglected to tell me that he had to drill the lock off to open it. That would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Tony continued at this time to be cocky and sarcastic. When I informed him and his other co-worker of Tony attitude. I would have expected Tony to apologize. Had he done so I would have bought a new lock from him. His reaction was to chuckle and smirk at me. So I told Tony and the man helping me that I would conclude business with you and go else where. When I paid for the time and labor and advised Tony that I hope he can find some customer service skills. Tony still offered no apology but his co worker (who was working with someone else) did. Tony may be good at his job but needs to find something else to do because he dose not belong in the service industry. If I ran my business that way I would have no customers. Locksmiths in general already have a questionable reputation by trade. Tony helped solidify that with me. read more
