I've been getting massages for many years, and have had some great ones. That being said, the massages from Pim make me feel like all of them were a waste of time and money! Seriously though, she is amazing. I'd definitely echo the other reviewers in that she doesn't stop until your muscles are completely relaxed. She applies the perfect amount of pressure, and includes simple assisted stretches that are found in thai massage. Quite possibly the best massage I've ever had, and I have had hundreds of massages. 2 hour session (I thought it was only one hour so I had to rush out when I realized I was late to pick my son up from school ‍) The massage work done was the most detailed work I've ever experienced. Great little massage place. She fit me in same day for 1 hr Swedish during holiday season. Relaxing music, and super soft sheets helped relax. Incorporated into massage was awesome stretches so felt refreshed when came out not super tired. I would definitely go back. read more

I get a massage about once a month. Over the past few years, I've been to many places in Santa Rosa. I can confidently state that this place is one of the best, if not the best, place to get a massage in Santa Rosa! I live nearby and was on a walk. This took the place of the Lego store that used to be here. I saw they had good prices, so I came in. The receptionist was friendly, and took me to a small room after I told her I wanted a Swedish + Thai massage. There was a bowl with some lotus flowers on the ground as you put your face down, a nice touch. The lady came in right away and started massaging. No chit-chat, no talking you up to get a better tip, I don't know if she could anyways with her limited English. The massage was phenomenal! No wasted movements, she massaged non-stop with vigor. I've had many massages where the masseuses will do some "give themselves a break" moves that don't feel great, and require minimal effort by the masseuse. This massage is what a massage should be, when a masseuse puts in their full effort! Not only that, a huge pet peeve of mine is when you pay for 60 minutes and you get 50 minutes, but this place went the full hour!! That may not sound like that big of a deal, but if you watch your clock, you'll realize most masseuses cheat you out of 16% of the massage by stopping early. The masseuse massaged all over the body. I don't like it when masseuses avoid the butt or inner thigh, it seems so childish. This place massaged all over, which felt great. Nothing sexual, this is a stand up place. Towards the end of the massage I was wiped down with hot towels, another really nice touch. As I was paying, I was given a cold Arrowhead water bottle and was offered chocolate. My qigung teacher recommended Araya Spa to me when I mentioned that I had low back pain. This turned out to be by far the best massage I've ever had. So many places give massages that make you feel good while it's happening, but with no lasting effect. I've never had Thai massage before, and my experience at Araya's was unlike anything I've ever had. Araya (not sure if she's the same person as the one other reviewers are calling Pim) zeroed in on all my knots, and wouldn't let up until they felt better. She's tiny, but boy, is she ever strong. Pim is a wonderful Masseuse! She was professional, courteous, and has an obvious knowledge of the body. I tend to have problems with my right shoulder due to an old whiplash injury, without talking to her about it, Pim could feel the difference between my shoulders, and skillfully made it feel better than ever! Despite being one of the best massages I've ever had, her prices are well below most places in the area. I would recommend highly Pim to anyone who asks. read more
