I went to the office to try my new dentures, and from that point on, untill July 2020, My life was in torture. The lab sent me someone elses bottom denture. Dr Hechtman, rather than listen to me, or admit to a mistake, kept me coming back once a week, to try to make the dentures fit. The dentures were so small, any competent person could see. The dentures shredded my gums when I tried to wear them. So, I couldn't wear them. For 7 months he put me and my family through Hell. I could only eat soup, or hot cereal, and things that require no chewing. I tried to tell him it was never going to work, but instead of hearing my concerns, he would chit chat with other patients, ignoring me and leaving me sitting alone for 15 minutes or more. Every time I had a appointment. Because I paid thousands of dollars, I went back 48 times. I finally said, enough. I Insisted he make me a pair that fit me. When the new dentures came back the difference was astounding. ( picture of both dentures he made are under this) Then covid closed the office the day before my final fitting and another 6 weeks went by. Is he too old? Are his eyes no longer able to see? Every time I tried to talk to him he would talk over me and talk about something unrelated to my dentures. He was rude, with no empathy, holyeier than thou and had no idea what he was doing. They were kind and accommodating and calmed me down when I was felt anxious and scared. They took such excellent care of me and were honestly some of the nicest people I've ever encountered at a dentist practice. I have since come for cleanings and brought my children for cleanings and they are great with them. Today, however really set them apart from the rest. I had another dental emergency due to my own negligence and they squeezed me in. They managed to do a same day crown in a very short amount of time. They even did a teeth cleaning while I was waiting since they had a cancellation and I was overdue. Dr. Visger did really great work(again) and the hygienists were all so wonderful. They had me laughing and I can tell they really care and love what they do. They are all truly wonderful people. If you are looking for a dentist practice for routine or emergency for yourself or your children, you need your give them a call. You won't regret it!

I don't know what happened but the hygienist I've had every time since is delusional, and terrible, she would destroy my gums to the point it looked like I was in a round with Mike Tyson, I'm pretty sure she did not have to rinse with water after because they were bleeding so much. But that doesn't even stop the fact that she would talk about how the government is out to get us, birds aren't real and the government is watching you, we did not make it to space and live in a bubble not allowing us to leave, and we should live in a house in the middle of the woods to protect us from 5G. All while she had metal tools poking me in the mouth, and it was not only me, she told this and more to my brother and father, we joke about it today but was strange and inappropriate there. What was even worse than that was we did not see the doctor there for the last 2 years (4 sessions). Only the hygienist, then they would apologize that the doctor was not in. It was to the point we didn't think they had a doctor anymore. Only that crazy hygienist. They also try to get you to pay more than you should. My family always booked a cleaning/twice a year check up (covered by insurance). But when you get there they add two more things that is not covered by insurance, if you don't read it and just sign like I did when I went alone at 18 a few years ago, then it cost $130 (maybe more now), and you have to tell them you do not want these every time you read over the contract. Also, they still did this in December 2023 (my last cleaning there). Now that I go to a new dentist, it made me realize this place was nuts! The new dentist said my teeth are good (I brush everyday and floss a little less than normal) and are gentle when cleaning. Also, when they ask if I want something added, they say what it is then list the price out of pocket and what is covered by insurance. Not scammy behavior like this great expressions. I highly recommend to stay away from this place!!

For Molars I did not had any pockets of 5mm depth, but she did hurt me any made more than 6 molars with 5mm pockets. Gave estimate of $747 for cleaning, reason said was, " you have 5mm depth of 4 or more need deep root cleaning." Next day, 2 hygienes did period exam and said, ZERO 5mm pockets for only $30 as my insurance did not cover.
