After I…read morewrote an honest and fair review, management retaliated by not allowing me to use the hair salon which is actually a separate business from AG. So my point was that if you choose to leave and write an honest review regarding your experiences, it says a lot about the management at this place when they behave in such a childish way. I knew the girls at the salon and we all enjoyed each other. Refusing to let me use it out of spite not only seems childish but it also hurts the salon by removing customers.

Not only is the facility clean and beautiful but every single person that works there is the best of the best...especially the nursing staff. They truly care and they truly put their heart into taking care of our loved ones. Both of my parents have stage 4 cancer along with other chronic conditions but they have thrived here because they get great care and all of their needs are met. The proximity to TGH is a blessing. Between the two of them, there are quite a few medical appointments -- but the Allegro driver takes care of transportation. There have been a few times that they needed around the clock care and/or emergency services and the team at Allegro took care of everything or made care plans -- the communication is always outstanding and transparent. It is wonderful to know that you can trust them. I can't begin to express how thankful I am for the peace of mind they have given me and I have knowing that there is a great community of caring staff, a great group of other residents and so many activities and outings. Because of them, I get to spend precious time with my parents... instead of trying to be their caregiver.

They work under Darwin's leadership and have always been great about responding quickly to our work orders. They take the time to listen and always come up with solid solutions. We've seen a big improvement in the maintenance team over the past few years, and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Not long ago, our air conditioner broke late at night--around 10:30 PM. Justin Chapman, the Security Manager, jumped into action right away and made sure we had a cool, comfortable place to stay that night. We appreciated how quickly he handled everything. The care, quick responses, and genuine concern from the staff are what make Regency Oaks feel like home.

The ambulance people had to wait while they actually made the bed she was admitted to. TWO HOURS later, sick as a dog...not a SINGLE Nurse, CNA or staff member had been to see her. TWO HOURS she sat sick, and alone. We had to physically go confront them at 9:00PM to get staff to her. They took Her a sandwich. They did not change her out of her hospital gown- they did no medical care and did not even administer ANY of her meds that night nor the next morning.. NUMEROUS calls by numerous concerned family we're unanswered, and not one single call back. By the next morning my elderly mother was begging us to get her out of there and we called to let them know we were coming to remove her to please make the necessary arrangements. Once again FOUR hours worth of phone calls were unanswered and not a single call back. We literally had to show up at the place and threaten to call the sheriff. Unfortunately once we were able to get her out of the place we had to contact them to get an order for home health care which is where we brought her and the administrator of the facility told our Home Care Case Manager they C OULD write the order but THEY would NOT. Even after denying her basic medical/human care they refused to assist my mother in getting HOME HEALTH CARE! They said they COULD but they WOULDN'T.

The only problem I see is on the weekends. When there's an emergency, the staff does not respond. Until I make a call and try to get a hold of somebody. There has been four cases of no response to an emergency call. When I asked about the problem, they blamed it on Spectrum. If you are having that much problem with Spectrum, you need to find another company. I think is a great place that my mom really loves. That I'm very concerned about the emergency problems on the weekend. If that problem is taken care of you guys are the best of the best.

My mother in law was there for a few months in the memory care unit. While the rest of the facility…read moreseems to be in ok order the staff at the memory care unit were not doing their job. Every time we went to visit mom she smelled like Urine, her clothes were filthy, her hair smelled very dirty and her feet had a thick layer of mud. I left several messages with the person in charged to see how mom was doing and she never return them. One day mom was sent to the Hospital and they said she was sent to Tampa but when we got there she was not there because she was sent to another hospital but they never bother to call us to let us know. Sherry the person in charged look grumpy all the time, never friendly and seemed to complain about mom who is in the late stages of dementia. We have a health advocate to help us make sure mom is taken care of but they didn't want to work with her at all. We couldn't get a hold of anyone to communicate with us about mom but when my husband discharged mom to move to another place, Sherry said that mom was trouble because she wondered all the time and got in people's rooms. Nobody said anything about mom being a problem before until we discharged her and Sherry was very rude to my husband not letting him talk and was very defensive when we said that we were moving her. I recommend you move your loved one to another place if you want to have at least the minimum amount of care for them because here all they did was make sure they were breathing which is why I gave the one star. They surely deserve none
