This Arby's is conveniently connected to a Love's gas station/convenience center, which means plenty of bathrooms-- a rare commodity during COVID-19 closures! We used the drive-thru to order our meal; our food was ready quickly and efficiently, and it was warm and delicious. I love the less greasy options they have now-- the turkey ranch bacon sandwich is great! The staff was friendly and pleasant. They also provided free ice water at my request. There are some large maple trees nearby providing ample shade, so we chose to park in one of the nearby spaces and eat outside. Plenty of trash cans too. Only thing that could've made it better was actual picnic tables, but I didn't mind stretching my legs after a long journey anyhow. read more

I've been an Arby's fan since the beginning of time. I have to admit it isn't the same nor is the quality of the product . Didn't it used to be real sliced beef? Not the pressed and formed meat you find in the packages in the deli. And the shakes, I fell in love with the jamoca shakes. They must use the artificial shake mix now. Not the same. Hi-ya! This location actually ran out of roast beef--they said it was going to be new inventory in an hour, but we were passing through. Too bad...I really do like Arby's. They have a lot of sandwiches, but to be honest the best one is just the plain roast beef with horse radish sauce. Not the ones with cheese or barbecue...just the plain original. I've been to this Arby's a few times now when I'm driving on I-5. This Arby's has always been better than the local one that's near my house in Dublin, CA. They have better deals and their burgers are always fresher. They have the "Pick 5 for $5.95" deal, which is not available in Dublin. This is definitely a good deal, as you can get a variety of things without paying too much. I would get a couple of Arby's Melt, a Ham Melt, the Curly fries and the value shake or soda. Everything is on the small side, but it's well worth the price of only $5.95. If the Dublin location had this deal, I would be coming to Arby's more frequently. As for this Lost Hills' location, it's connected to the Love's Travel Stop; so you can also get gas here, go to their convenient shop, and use their large restroom which can accommodate a large group at any time of the day. read more

Dining area was filthy....everything after that doesn't really matter. IMHO if they don't care about cleanliness I'm sure that attitude permeates throughout the entire restaurant. We had my 5 month old granddaughter with us and the high chair was gross. Luckily I had wipes and a high chair cover, but yuck! Given the Covid-19 situation, we were happy that there was not a long line at the drive-through window. The young lady who took our order was super! I see a couple of bags under the heat lamps and was wondering what was missing from my order. Finally they call large lemonade. I ask if it is for order 122 (hint hint) and they hand me the lemonade but no food. After a few more minutes, I go up to the counter and wait for someone to come up front. The person then proceeds to hand me the bags under the heat lamp and then walked to the back. I check the bags and the full order is there. I walk to the car and realize no condiments and no napkins. Hey, Lost Hills California is exactly what the name says. Its has one thing Wonderful Farms home of the Pomegranates and Pistachios. Lost Hills is a truck stop and not the center of the epicurean world, so Arbys is the next best thing. Located in the Love's truck stop it at least has a couple of items other than burgers and chicken nuggets. Recently I tried the Arbys Reuben sandwich and its very good on marbled bread. Truck stop food is usually a little higher priced the normal locations but this Arbys in Lost Hills makes the Reuben the same as the one in Pleasanton. read more

Arby's has always been a fast food chain that I've had a soft spot for. There aren't as many as there used to be, and when I have a chance to go to one, I take it. On the way back from Los Angeles we stopped here and had some finger licking good food. Not the healthiest food, but there sauce option is pretty huge and their chicken tenders are great, and I'm normally not a chicken tender fan. This is a review for all the gas and fast food places in the lost hills The lost hills is the place to stop after a good 3-4 hours of driving from the bay area to LA. They have a wide selection of cheap fast food places and cheap gas stations to refill your gas tank and suppress your hunger. The restrooms are also well kept. Specifically the arbys has an extensive $1 value menu (although kinda small sandwiches) and the cashier was nice enough to offer free of charge hot water. Micky Ds, Carl's Jr, Wendy's also make an appearance here. read more

Like the review a month ago, there were no pecans in my Pecan Chicken Salad sandwich. When I took it to the cashier she told me that she just was told they were out of pecans. She would have nicely refunded my money but then she would have to throw away the sandwich which was a waste of food. I just put salt on it to give it flavor. I told her about the review a month ago with the same thing happening and told her it's not too hard to buy pecans at Costco. I used to eat Arby's often . I have eaten here before as well. It's a tasty joint. On this trek both the munchkin and I had roast beef. I also had potato triangle things that were somewhat like hash browns. I thought that they were tasy as well. Then there were the curly fries. Those were quite tasty as well. I can say that they were something that I hadn't had in yrs and while it will be several yrs before I have them again... Yum! They have a weird drive thru here as well. Just be warned. Overall it was good for fast food and I was happy that I stopped here. However I'm happier that I don't eat much fast food. Stopped by the Lost Hills area as our last stop before shootin' down to LA. Typically, you can find the gas prices here to be cheaper than all other stops along Hwy 5 between the Bay Area and LA. On a side note, Chevron's price for 91 Octane was $3.33 while Shell's, RIGHT ACROSS THE DAMN STREET, was $3.19 for the same. Wtf... ok, whatever, I digress. I'd intended on dropping into Carl's Jr. until I saw Arby's. *Queue the angels humming in unison* ARBY'S!!! I slammed on my brakes and swung a HARD right into the parking lot. It'd been years since my last Arby's run, and I was JUICED. I couldn't decide on anything on their menu until I saw... pause.... their 5 for $5.95! Ohhh man.. here's how it played out: 2 Beef Melts - Why only one of the two sandwiches had cheese, I'm not sure, but the one WITH cheese was amazing. Layer some horsey sauce on it, and you have a goldmine! The one WITHOUT cheese, however, was dry and nasty. blegh! 1 Ham Melts - nothing too spectacular here. The ham was pretty good, cheese definitely added some flavor to it, but horsey sauce saved it 2 Loaded Potatoes - Ohhh man... talk about a heart-attack in a beautiful little triangle. It's LOADED with cheese and... bacon? I could've sworn I tasted a hint of bacon in there. I hope so, because bacon makes me happy! They also accompany the order with a THICK ranch dressing. After hours upon hours of road tripping, Arbys was a lovely mood pick up from the flat never ending stretches of I-5. Truck fuel and people food fuel = win. My mom and I ventured inside to brave what I assumed to be a pretty questionable franchise location. To my surprise, this was the cleanest damn Arbys I have ever set foot in before. The floors were so clean you could eat off them. The tables were so shiny you could see yourselves in them. The staff was really fast and friendly unlike some of the drivers along the freeway.
