Previously I gave this location 5 stars. The quality has taken a dive. I used to love the curly fries here but tonight the fries were old and disgusting tasting. I wish we had tried them before we left the premises because I would have brought them back. Cashier not very friendly either. We'll choose to spend our money elsewhere. read more

Generally Arby's is my favorite place and I like their buffalo sandwich and curly fries. But yesterday I went to Arby's , New Hudson and waited for more than 10mins to place the order unfortunately no one came and take the order though I saw staffs in front of me moving around so walked out. The incompetence of this Arby's locations staff members blows my mind. I can't even... To the New Hudson Arby's Ownership: Literally.... Hire an entire new staff....ENTIRELY. All restaurants have set instructions when training staff how much of something goes on this and that how much sauce someone gets with this many yadada...they are told specifically to make things exactly that way unless otherwise asked for differently...example....all size pops at alot of fast food places will tell staff they fill every size cup qith the same exact amount of ice and it doesn't matter if it's a small or xl cup....the tiny cup gets just as much as the xl cup....even how many sauces go with this or that, how many ladles you put on or in something, pumps of sauces or syrup to add into or on something....you get the idea here right?? Well anytime you ask this place for light anything you, the only thing you get thats light is listened to....they barely are listening or caring and it's a fast good joint so honestly it shouldn't make me so irritated cause what do i really expect from here but that typically comes down to im not getting an awesome juicy real meat, steak properly cooked by a real chef....I shouldn't have to expect SLOP you can't even eat let alone pick up cause they blanket the food in cheese you can't even open the box or wrapper without it getting everywhere.....I got a wrapper full of cheese. And a tiny bit roast beef....thing is I ask for light cheese...and they NEVER GET IT I got specific even and asked for half the amount of cheese added to my sandwich they'd normally put on it...get a lil more reassurance at times and say very very light cheese if possible and please and thanks of course....always courteous on my end I feel annoying even asking but if I don't I get slop. One young lady totally gets it when i say half the amount but never ever does anyone else this time it was horrific though like they literally got so mad I bothered them by asking for half the amount of cheese so they swamped the thing in it....the bread literally was like disintegrating to paper thin nothingness cause that's how much cheese these guys put on it and not only that but like they added it literally to every corner of the wrapper ON PURPOSE so when you opened it you'd get it everywhere.... Tell me ....what's so hard and bothersome about asking for light sauce on something? This isn't an EXTRA action you have to do....no way friggin double roast beef and cheeses have been pre-made by the dozen and sit there for hours and hours where you were so hassled to make a fresh one or something...every sandwich would be soggy as all get out and not edible if that was the case....its literally a ladle of sauce or pump of sauce however the heck these fools do it up here...AND ACTUALLY DOING LESS!!! SHOCKER THAT WOULD BOTHER YOU EMPLOYEES TO GET A LITTLE COCKY AND SMART TO THINK YOURE "SHOWING" THIS CUSTOMER BY BEING DELIBERATELY HORRIBLE BY GIVING HER THE EXACT OPPOSITE. This was disgusting. And I won't ever go here again ever. This was deliberately done and it sounds so silly to be that angered over but in all honesty the point that I am not being a Karen asking if it's possible to do what I wanted done for my meal and was so simple it's laughable to think it'd be an issue but to be irritated enough to purposefully ruin my food and have to return up there and you just gotta make me a new one which requires MORE action then just doing it the first easy as all you know what to do...for no reason...no reason...it just ....my lord...I dont know. So pathetic and sad this is how people are. If you ever had heard that lady who asked for extra mayo at Wendy's and they purposefully slopped her sandwich cause they thought it was funny cause it's a buncha kids working and literally she got a wrapper full of mayo where it was disgusting as heck and got everywhere it was as if the chicken wasn't even there.....yeah imagine that with cheese. The food was fine. No complaints there. I tried the Mountain Dew I ordered, it tasted watery. I told the worker. She offered a different drink instead. Then the manager showed up. Wow! she told me that I was wrong the Mountain Dew was full so it was fine. Well I don't know maybe they made the drink and the ice melted a huge amount as I drove up. No worries I wasn't really upset but how dare she tell me I am wrong without trying it. So I asked her to taste it. She did while glaring at me! Then she gave me adisgusted look and said " I told you, it tastes fine. " Nice attitude. I never asked for anything I just told them it was watery and the employee offered a substitute. Fairly new area I guess, its being built up it seems every other time I drive out this way. I wanted a quick and cheap lunch after getting my car serviced at local Ford dealer. This Arby's is New Hudson MI area I guess. Yelp had no info on it but I found it on Google. Anyway recently on news Arby's announced they were raising prices. I had no idea how high they were going. Sadly many items I came to expect from the $1.00 Menu are NO Longer $1. For example the very recently released Buffalo Chicken sandwich which nationally is advertised at just $1 is now $1.20. Normally I would not protest so much but Arby's advertises all over National, Regional, and Local markets that this special item is just $1. I ask a manager about this and they tell me in simple terms that apparently each Arby's can choose if they are following the national market or their own market. Apparently there is no way for the Regular Consumer to know which Arby's is a Franchise store and which Arby's is an independently owned store. Frankly its all bullsh*t imho. Sorry to digress so much. I was able to buy 2 $1 jr arby's roast beef sandwiches and a $1 curly frie and a $1 value sized lemonade. Here's the My 2nd Beef with Arby's - 1) the jr roast beef sandwich seems to be literally 2 oz of shaved meat. there is actually more bread than meat. of course thats all there is for $1 a bun with a tidbit of beef essence, and its not even seasoned. there is very little flavor unless you lather it in Arby's Sauce - which they will hassle you if you ask for more than 2 packets. At least they do not charge yet for extra sauce packets. 2) the lemonade is not regular... its a lite - low cal - diet lemonade. and they do not tell you on the speaker or on the menu. you won't know what you have until you try to sip and then squirm about how nasty the flavor is. ugh... Aspartame & fake lemon flavor nasty! The only item from the bunch I got which was decent were the ever delicious curly fries. they are seasoned, not overly salty, and even when they aren't hot n fresh, they are still good. read more

I was at the New Hudson location on 2/2/15 picking up lunch for my Fiance and I. When I got home I noticed the sandwiches for him were not in the bag. I immediately called and spoke with someone who said because I was unable to return right then, they'd write my name in the book and I could pick them up another time. I had not returned until today 4/1/15 and when I informed Ally who was at the front counter and pleasant throughout our transaction, she turned to ask someone named Sarah where the book was located. I told Ally it was awhile ago thinking they would have to look a little further back into the book when Sarah walked over and took over the conversion. She rudely said "we only keep that for 30 days, so it's long gone" and then turned her back on me and walked away. At no time was it ever mentioned until then that this log was only kept for 30 days or I would have made it a point to visit again before now. So, I guess the questions I'm left with are: How often does this happen to where the book would be so large it would need to emptied every 30 days? If it is a matter of policy than it needs to be communicated from the beginning. Also, what type of Customer Service was this! So, because it's been more than 30 days I somehow got what I originally paid for? There was no apology nor any offer of compensation. They need to treat their customers better if they expect them to return. I wasn't wanting anything other than what I paid for, so if the lack of empathy and customer service provided on this day is any indication of the way it always operates, I'll find someplace else to go for a quick meal. read more
