The food at Luxe is consistently delicious and high quality....always tastes fresh. The burgers are made with fresh, never-frozen beef, and so much of the menu is prepared in-house. The staff is genuinely kind, the service is great, and the quality has stayed consistent over the years. There's a reason Luxe has been a downtown Birmingham favorite for more than 15 years. My husband would have liked an au jus or horseradish sauce. He would try the hamburger next, but I would love another steak-frites, like right now! We were sad the coffee and pastry section closed early. In the past, at Honcho, we would get coffee and pastry after dinner since their coffee tends to be really good and quality.
