I'm not sure but they either don't care or don't pay attention to customers orders. Went in ordered take away and drove home. Realized they forgot to put a sandwich and also messed up on another one. Drove all the way back to get what we actually ordered. I just hate that we have to make it a habit to double check our orders when it should be right the first time. Look, I don't usually give the time of day to fast food joints, but my experience here was egregiously bad. We stopped in for a fast late breakfast/early lunch and the dunderheads who were working that day managed to f*ck up our (most rudimentary of) orders. (How the hell do you do that when you have a few buttons to push? Hell, those buttons have pictures beside them, if I'm assuming correctly. It's not exactly rocket science.) We received a cursory and somewhat curt apology from the manager, but (by that time), we were already off schedule for our trip home. Looking at the other Yelp reviews for this joint here once I arrived home, I certainly realized that things need to be looked at in perspective. This place clearly needs new management. I have contacted Arby's corporate offices, but (much to my chagrin) I'm pretty sure that most Arby's locations are franchises that may or may not pay attention to corporate oversight. read more

After seeing the Bacon cheddar sandwich advertisement all over TV, I decided to go to Arby's and try it out. The deal was 2 for $6. The first sandwich seemed light on the meat and had two very small slivers of bacon. It was sloppily put together. The second sandwich was much better but still had two very small strips of bacon. Nothing like the commercial or the photos at the restaurant. The employees were very friendly and professional. The cleanliness of the restaurant was ok. Several tables needed to be wiped down though. There seemed to be no one who was responsible for cleaning the dining area. Overall a solid 3 Stars. read more

I usually don't even bother to review fast food, but the awful quality of this Arby's experience dictates that it is necessary. The roast beef was sliced so thick it was like shoe leather. My salad that I paid $2 for didn't even have lettuce halfway up the bowl. Pay $12 for a meal for a sandwich that I can hardly chew and a salad that is half gone. Will never eat here again. read more

On a recent return to the land from which I graduated High School, I took the opportunity to stop at Arby's. On entering and placing my order for a roast beef sandwich, potato cakes and beverage, I was advised the wait would be about 2 minutes. This advisory told me the potato cakes would not be fresh. I looked at the fry station and saw there were 2 potato cakes sitting under the heat lamps. I pulled napkins and filled the cup I was given, selected a table and my order was ready. Noticing the potato cakes that were under the heat lamps had been placed on my tray, I asked how old they were. The chickie behind the counter, still in high school from all appearances, said she did not know, as her shift had started only a few minutes before. As there was no grease spotting the paper sack the potato cakes had been placed in, I asked for the manager. Chickie disappeared into the back, and let me know the manager would be out in a few minutes. I walked over to my table (the only customer in the restaurant) and sat. Peeling back the top bun from the roast beef sandwich, I saw a lump of roast beef in the center of the bun. Picking off a piece, what I sampled was very chewy and not very flavorful. I doctored up the sandwich with horseradish sauce and took a bite. Bun had great texture and good flavor, but the meat in the middle just did not satisfy. As I took the last bite of the sandwich, Bryan, the manager, appeared. When I saw Bryan and called him by name before he offered it, his eyes became narrow and he looked at me with suspicion. He asked how I knew his name and I replied with the names of the instructors we had together in High School. Floundering like a trout tossed on the bank of a river, he still made no connection. I told him my name and his eyes, as well as his suspicions, cleared. He wanted to start down memory lane, but I kept him on task asking how old the potato cakes were. He looked at the bag and at chickie behind the counter and advised that they were probably too old to be served. He hollered to chickie to start a new batch of potato cakes and to bring 2 out as soon as they were done. He noticed the empty sandwich wrapper and asked what I thought. In telling him the meat was bland and very chewy, the eyes again narrowed and defensiveness took over in his voice. He stated he roasted the beef himself, and could I elaborate on what I meant about bland and chewy meat. As there was not much to elaborate on, I said I would order the chicken next time (it comes frozen prepared, so it's much more consistent). The potato cakes finished about this time and chickie walked out with 2 steaming potato cakes. I let them cool as Bryan and I went down a quick version of what happened since High School. Tasting the potato cakes, they were mealy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Either the oil was old or the cross-cooking of some other item made for a strange taste when I bit the potato cakes. Someone got it right when they said "You can never go home again". read more

Sigh, I finally have something that I didn't want to write. When we first got there, no one acknowledged us for about 5 minutes. After we placed our order, it took over 10 minutes to get our food and we were the only ones in the lobby. Fries came out last because they were "cooking." I use that term loosely as more than half were still cold and not thoroughly cooked. We just finished our sandwiches and left. Used to hold a supervisor position at this location, and quit due to unsafe and extremely unsanitary working conditions. Went in today to check out the renovated store, and wow, what a world of difference! The dining room looks so nice, there aren't fireballs shooting out of the back off the fryers, and the best part....not a cockroach in sight! And the entirely new staff of employees were, for the most part, very friendly. (Although it appears as though they either let go of, or lost a few employees who were extremely hard workers) I will return. read more

Now they let you order and then tell you the card machine is down. This should have been the third cue to run for my life (ie. Gut). Once at the window, see the gentlemen pants sagging should have been the final straw, but no. Then I get to see the trashed prep area, while the drive thru window was opened. While the guy keep the window open, I believe a family of flies made Arby's there new home. This really should have told me don't eat this food. Get my food and reach for a curly fry. Service is almost always friendly. That is a nice exception from the rest of Clovis. The food is rarely warm though. My chicken tenders have been warm once in the past four times I've gone. I also had cold fries with the warm chicken. I specifically asked them to make sure my food was warm this time. They are nice and the reuben and fries were very warm and fresh. My 3 piece chicken feels like it's been sitting out for over an hour and are cold. I would easily rate this place 5* if it wasn't for the constant issues with cold food. read more

I have lived in Clovis for over 60 years now. Before there was an Arby's in Clovis my family and I used to drive to Roswell NM about 110 mile from here just to eat at Arbys on occassion. When someone first put an Arby's in Clovis it was a busy place, a nice building, and the service was great. For the last several years I have been telling myself, "Do not go back there, the service is horrible every time." Well, tonight topped it off. I pulled up to the speaker in the drive through. In front of me sat two other vehicles. The person on the speaker said she would be with me in a minute. I sat there what I consider a reasonable amount of time and another lady came back on and asked for my order. Now get this: I ordered 1 French Dip, 1 Regular Roast Beef, and I Curly Fry. She told me it would be $11.80. I pulled up to the car in front of me and I sat for approimately 15 minutes while the other two vehicles were waited on. Evidently the vehicle directly in front of me did not have the correct order and the lady at the window handed that person another sack. Still the vehicle did not move and when the lady came back to the window, conversation exchanged and the empolyee again returned with another sack. I began to wonder if they were selling drugs through the Arby's window? When the vehicle in front of me advanced, I pulled forward to the window. There were three ladies standing there talking just inside the window. They did not even acknowlege I was there and I decided they must be splitting up the money they just got for selling the drugs or whatever! One looked over at me and looked in the sack sitting there on the counter. She picked it up and headed my way and then turned around and went back and looked I suppose at the fry machine. Of course there were no fries. The lady then proceeded to the window to ask me to pull forward, that there were no frys ready. Hmmmm...There were three people in the building sitting at a table eating their meal and no other vehicles around. I waited another good 5 minutes and I almost just drove off but I thought, that company will just give my money to another stupid person working there. By the way, on your application for employment is there a box to check that reads, "Are You Stupid or I Don't Care?" And if those people check those boxes you hire them? Are you having a profit problem or would you like to make more profit? I did not ask for one bit of sauce of any kind, but for two sandwiches I got 9 packages of Arby's Sauce and 9 packages of Horsey Sauce plus I got two fries instead of one. I will not be back and I am not sure you will still be there if I decided to go back. Somebody needs some training or maybe you just need the store for a tax write off!!!
