Steve is one of the last technicians able to service B&K. I took my blown Reference 200.7 to him…read morefor restoration. It took him about 6 months and $600, a bit over his estimate, but It was worth the wait. One channel failed within a few days, but Steve patiently took it apart again and repaired it at no charge. The amplifier runs significantly cooler and sounds amazing. You must know that Steve and his colleague are a very small shop doing a lot of different electronic repairs to stay afloat. If you want to send your gear to them, please be patient and work with them. This may mean calling every month or two to follow up. But to find someone who knows what they are doing and care about making great tech keep going, he is worth his weight in gold.
