The polite rejection basically translated to "Your teeth are too messed up for our basic remote treatment, so seek out an actual orthodontist." I had a lot of overcrowding that needed physical treatment, such as teeth slimming which obviously cannot be handled by a company that just sends you twenty trays, waves you a proverbial goodbye and expects to handle the rest of your treatment on your own. Kinda scary, especially for the cost they're charging you. If you choose to extend your treatment because you're unsatisfied with the results, these companies charge an additional $200+ every time you want to another round of trays. If anything goes wrong, there is no doctor for you to talk to, even for simple questions regarding any discomfort. Getting turned away was a blessing. Anytime I have a concern, I never feel rushed. My questions are thoroughly addressed and I understand everything that is happening with my teeth. Dr. Lee is not the extreme, upselling type. Dr. Neimann was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and informative. That's fine since it's…read morenot my out of pocket, but what's not fine is that she sold me on getting my front teeth bonded. I have tiny front teeth and have gaps after two sessions of braces. My first visit (10/24) to her she showed me pics stating that she has 10 yrs of experience doing teeth bonding. She also told me about her happy client. She charges $150 per tooth. I paid a total of $600. After three sessions with her (10/24, 10/17, 10/24) , she did my teeth bonding. I was very unhappy the first time when she was done. I never write reviews let alone a BAD review, but this is a first. Originally my teeth were straight but had gaps. To "fill" them in, she made one tooth more crooked looking. She said it was natural. Although you can't see it in the photo, natural meant a black speck up close in her bonding material, scratches on the top surface from her sanding, and not to mention she didn't even cover my whole tooth, so there's space for plaque build up between the gum and the bonding material. Also when she was sanding, she lost control and sanded my lip AND dropped a sanding disc in my open mouth. Separate occasions, I kid you not. She didn't even apologize until I gurgled on her sanding disc. When she was done, and she could see I was very unhappy with the results, she got defensive and said that I didn't pay enough to get better results. Apparently if I wanted better results she said I should've gotten veneers. she sold me bonding as a better alternative. I pointed out bumps that she didn't sand out and the scratches on the surface of my bonded teeth. Her attitude was beyond my belief. I trusted her. What a money grubber. At the end she was pissed more than I was. I'm hard to anger, but today (11/2) my tooth actually chipped after just one and a half weeks of having them done by her. (See pic for evidence!) I was eating a piece of bread. I could've swallowed it! And the part that fell off sits on my tooth and not the gap! I'm going to have to go to another dentist to get this totally redone.
