The dentists here are usually great, however the assistants scheduling and pushing financing for different treatments are very rude and to the point. The worst of them is Moon, who has helped me several times already. She is so obnoxious and clearly hates her customers, never greeting you and commanding you with a very rude tone. If I had other options, I might consider them after interacting with her. Maybe don't join customer service if you feel that way. Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour after your appointment time to be let inside and wait longer for the doctor. As mentioned by others, they tend to pack in appointments. I absolutely love this dentist!! I've been coming here for the last couple of years, I've gotten fillings, cleanings, crowns put in and they're amazing!! Incredible bedside manner! They're all extremely kindhearted and professional. They have super advanced high tech and used 3D imaging to have a night guard made for me! And it only took about 5 minutes and was completely painless. Out of every dentist I've ever been to Parklane has given me the best cleanings by far!! ABSOLUTE WASTE of time! So unorganized and terrible communication. We had a follow up visit that was almost an hour behind. We finally completed the visit and then scheduled the next visit. There was absolutely no commutation we needed to bring the retainer at the next visit. We showed up and was told we had to reschedule. They stated "oh well maybe your husband forgot that we told him". What a BS excuse to blame him as we would not waste 35 mins driving to an appointment knowing we needed to bring the retainer. Do not waste your time and money here because they only care about packing in as many appointments as possible with no actual customer service or regard for your time. Read the other 1 star reviews here and on Google as the lack of communication and disregard for your time is a common issue here. read more

Prices are much higher than other local orthodontists. I was quoted $6,500 for Invisalign and $5,500 for traditional braces, while other offices quoted me around $4,500-$5,000 for the same treatment. First thought was wow this place is high tech and very thorough. I'm a new patient and found out this place has 2 locations , one in Temple City and the other in Arcadia. I found out because I went to the wrong location...luckily though it's 5min away from each other ! The wait: there were 3 other people in the waiting room but it was still a short 5-10min wait before I was called. The interior space is very nice and felt very grand with the high ceiling Experience/Service: the service was very nice. The tech that got me set up and cleaned my teeth was very considerate about my low back issue. I was also impressed she cleaned my teeth on her own and always made sure I never "drowned" (is the word she used lol) nothing was painful, in fact it felt like I was at a spa for my teeth I also ended up needing 7 fillings due to broken old ones and a cavity. I really appreciated how Dr He considered if I was on a time crunch. Thoroughness: I had x-rays done and they also scanned my teeth which was new to me. The scanning took quite long but I think the first tech was having trouble so I'm happy she asked someone else to take over because my jaw was getting tired. The scanned image was very informative and Dr He showed me everything she was looking at. Unfortunately a lot of broken fillings They also took my blood pressure which I've never done at a dentist office. Conclusion: Overall it was a very nice visit. The techs and Dr He were very nice and considerate. I only wish it wasn't so long as I stayed for 3 hours, but I was a new patient and had a lot done so that could be the reason - x-ray, scanning, teeth cleaning, fillings. Dr. Tim N is equally exceptional--his expertise gives me full confidence in the care I receive. Even something as routine as a dental cleaning is treated with exceptional care and thoroughness. Their cleaning process includes five meticulous steps: 1. Initial examination - checking for gum inflammation, recession, and evaluating each tooth individually. 2. High-pressure water cleaning - to remove plaque that regular brushing can't reach. NO pain! 3. Manual removal of tartar - using specialized tools to carefully eliminate hardened plaque buildup. 4. Flossing - thorough cleaning of every tooth gap with dental floss. 5. Polishing - using a professional-grade polishing paste to smooth and clean every tooth surface and crevice. Throughout the entire process, Jessica V is incredibly patient and detailed, never rushing or cutting corners. She takes the time to ensure that every tooth and every gap is properly cared for. She also frequently suction out excess saliva to keep my mouth clean and comfortable during the procedure. I realized my review from 2024 was never completed. Three separate members of my family have been mistreated by her on different visits. And today was the last straw, my sister walked out crying after how she was spoken to. That's why I'm finally completing this draft of my experience with her in 2024. Let me start by saying the doctors and most of the staff here are friendly and professional except for one person: Maria, the one who handles treatment plan quotes. Please make sure you fully understand your consultation with the doctor before speaking with her, because she will try to upsell you and quote you incorrectly. She does not listen, nor does she try to understand what the doctor actually recommended. She bases all her pricing on her own assumptions and the pre consultation notes, even when the treatment plan clearly changes after speaking with the doctor. When I asked her why the pricing was a certain way, she wouldn't answer the actual question and just kept repeating her version. I eventually had to ask her to bring the doctor in so she could understand the real treatment plan. Only then was she able to quote us correctly. There were even additional treatment options the doctor mentioned, but she never acknowledged them until she explained it herself. It's disappointing because the doctors here are great, but every interaction with Maria has been frustrating, dismissive, and inaccurate. I hope management addresses this, because patients deserve proper communication and correct information, not pressure, upselling, or assumptions. Come here if you want to leave feeling just crappy enough to put a damper on your day. Front desk will make you feel like scum for being there. You're not a person, but just another task to get through until the end of the work day. I've gone here for the past 3 years and each time I've left feeling like I left a factory where the patients are on the conveyor belt waiting to be processed. Front desk always seems tense. I recall one visit noticing they were training someone new and the person training was mean and rude to the trainee. It made me uncomfortable as a patron. I've recalled this memory for every following visit. Anyway, this is about the overall feeling that I'm just a dollar sign with teeth. Trying to nickel and dime me might make your business a few more dollar signs temporarily but you will lose a patron for life afterward. I am extremely unhappy and disappointed. I used to be their customer for a few years until now. I will never come back. I have two teeth that needed fillers and instead of providing me other options, they kept trying to coerce me into buying veneers instead which they said will cost $4000 for just two teeth. The finance lady was very pushy, she seemed desperate, and I was not convinced. She said even if I did not go through with the treatment and "because they reserved 2 hours of time originally for the treatment" I owe them $200 for that. Their front desk staff are either really nice, or just inpatient. The real off putting thing here though has to be their NON-STOP reminders about your appointment via emails, text messages, voicemail. Not kidding when I say they will remind you SIX times regarding one appointment. They will continue to send reminders even after you confirm "yes" on the emails and texts. I think a reminder or two (max) is reasonable, but anything more than that starts to feel like spam. I understand they want to avoid gaps in their schedule when people don't show up, but this is disruptive to clients and it feels like they're putting their interest way above ours. I've never experienced this with any other business. Also, nowadays CALLING someone for no good reason is just rude. Unless you're a boomer, then you're forgiven. Otherwise, just no. Get with the times. Then to add insult to injury, when I showed up on time for my appointment, I ended up waiting 43 minutes before someone called me in. Today, I went to pick up my friend, who had undergone anesthesia for wisdom tooth removal. When I walked in and informed one of the women at the front desk that I was there to pick up my friend, another woman next to her (Muria or Maria), without even looking my way, immediately said, "Finally." I was taken aback--what the heck was that attitude for? Rude!!! My friend was originally told the procedure would take about an hour, so she asked me to pick her up around that time. However, the procedure ended up finishing about 15 minutes earlier than expected. I understand that they needed someone to be there until the patient was discharged and that they didn't want to wait around. But if that was the case, they should have made that clear from the start instead of giving me attitude. I had been considering trying that place myself, but after this experience, I will never step foot in there again. read more

I've had nothing but a good experience here. The staff is kind, friendly, welcoming and goes above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable. They have advanced technology and you can even ask them to play a movie or show while sitting in the patient chair. The rooms are clean and modern and they always have relaxing music playing to make the environment less stressful and welcoming. I have severe dental anxiety​ and I avoided seeing a dentist for a VERY long time. ​Dr. Tim is by far the best dentist I've ever had, he is kind, friendly and knowledgeable. He treats his patients with care and never once did i feel judged. He walked me through everything step by step and always checked in to see if i was ok. It was the start of a long dental journey, but i finally reached a point where my teeth are clean and healthy. Before getting teeth whitening there, you're required to do an exam for $180. Then they insist that you need a deep cleaning, which costs $1,200. Even if you've had your teeth cleaned elsewhere, they'll say it wasn't done properly and ask you to do it again. I only paid the $180. I'm giving one star solely because the cleaning price is extremely high, and I went there twice but didn't get anything done. read more

I was first helped by Julia, who has excellent teeth by the way, who was sweet as could be. She handled many things including comfortably taking X-rays and even 3D colorized scanning for teeth and gums--the 3D modeling was incredible :)! Then I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. He. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and youthful. I was a new patient in search of help with a dental matter that takes a significant amount of time to address. I asked, hopeful but unsure, if I could be helped the same day as I first showed up, knowing Dr. He was kindly helping many others already. To my delight, I was introduced to the office manager, Grace, who also had a killer smile, and she helped me so much with an affordable option plus found a way to get me scheduled the same day. So, Dr. He was AMAZING and worked with me later in the same day to help me. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent claim by Parklane dental. Over the past 30 days, I have encountered significant challenges in tracking the status of my dental claim, despite multiple follow-ups. Each time I inquire, I am told different information, leading to confusion and delays. I was previously assured that all necessary documentation had been submitted, yet I was later informed that additional information is required. This experience has been both frustrating and time-consuming. The lack of clarity and consistent communication has made it difficult to trust the process, and I no longer feel confident in continuing my relationship with Parklane Dental. It has become more stressful to navigate this situation compared to my experiences with other Dental providers. I was told that I needed to pay for a large portion of my bill which I wasn't obligated to. And was told I was gonna get my refund once my claim was processed from my insurance. It's been 2 years and I haven't gotten any follow ups since then. Do not pay anything else but what you are owed which is "patients out of pocket payment obligations". I have my crown done here. They have completely eliminated my fear for dentist. For years I always see one dentist that retired 3 years ago. I have a crack filling that have been putting off for years. The consultant team are extremely friendly and helpful. The office is very clean and very nice. I felt that I am going to a resort rather than a dentist office. Everything was smooth. I gotta tell you the Dentist is world class with super soft hands. Got numb shot without any pain. The best part is that they will explain before they proceed in every steps. The temporary crown was a perfect fit with no issue. Then the real one 2 weeks after. I've been coming to Parklane Dental for few years and my experience has been wonderful. The hygienist are always clean and detailed with cleaning. Despite the office being very busy, I can say with confidence the doctors are very experienced in their field. I worked with Dr. Wu for my Invisalign, Dr. Brewer for Implant and Dr. Tim for my Fllings/Crown. I recently work with Dr. Tim for my crown. Of course, nothing is perfect, even though I had to return couple times for my refit, Dr Tim made sure I was comfortable and completely satisfied with the fit. His manner truly reflects his kindness, knowledge, and patience. Nothing but positive things to say about Julie, his assistant- she's friendly, funny, and compassionate about her work. The staff is caring. Always sending electronic reminders for appointments, txt, phone calls, & follow-up calls.
