This year I brought my mom in for her dental implant and Dr.Vo did a great job! She's very gentle and careful with my mom's needs. So in my delight, the reviews are true. Had a toothache that was lingering and called around local dentists with good yelp ratings. Yen, whom took my call, had great phone etiquette and gave me an appointment the next day, which was to my astonishment. I was anticipating an appointment in a couple of weeks unless I started bawling on the phone. The place is not difficult to find and the parking is in a private lot in the rear. Arrived at the clinic and my first instinct was, "should I take off my shoes?" It was clean and modern looking to me. (I am not a regular at dentists) Jordan and Stacy were nice and friendly in setting me up with xrays and assisted during my procedure. Dr. Akopyan then greeted me, and we discussed my tx options for why I was there. Great bedside manners and answered all my questions. What amazed me and had me somewhat displeased with my previous dentists was this "filling" for receding gum lines that Dr. Akopyan recommended. Once I saw the finished product in the mirror I was like "why hadn't anyone suggested this to me sooner??!!" All in all, my primary and secondary complaints were addressed, and I got those fillings for receding gum lines for 4 teeth. I was done in roughly 2 hours. I am going to skip the part where I get a needle in my mouth to inject numbing meds because I simply hate needles. In the end, I would never have imagined a dental visit to be described as "Wow." Every single person that was involved in my care had great people skills. Already asked wife to make appointment for a routine visit, and I definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a dental office. Hi! I normally go to 21 dental and while the staff there is also SUPER AWESOME I had the pleasure of visiting this office for an emergency dental fix! The staff from 21 dental was able to connect me with my dentist and schedule me for this location. I must say this office is simply beautiful in the inside(I love cleanliness and new things) this office has very new and more efficient technology which made the work done today a breeze!!! As I stated before I normally visit 21 dental but I love this office more & I love my dental family as a whole. They really treat me nice and are concerned with my comfortability. Dr. Tung is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about her patients. I've been really nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed as my sister had a bad experience with a past surgeon she saw. That's why I wanted to find an experienced oral surgeon who I can trust to handle my extraction. Dr. Tung is among the best doctors I have ever interacted with. She also graduated from Harvard so I knew I could trust her credentials. She removed all four of my wisdom teeth in less than 30 minutes! After I was out of the chair, the friendly front office staff provided me with a kit of supplies and handed me my post-op prescriptions. Dr. Tung even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or concerns after hours. I had minimal swelling and my wounds healed well without any complications. I highly recommend this dental office! I had one broken tooth (its filling broke off and it was done at another dental office earlier this year) and it was fairly urgent. I made several calls to different dental offices in the area for this urgent situation, and only Arcadia Medi-Dental Group nicely agreed to set up an immediate appointment for me. I came in the next day and the DA did an Xray and ICAT for me. Dr Vo then consulted me with my dental health and the broken tooth. She cleaned up the broken tooth and placed a temporary filling in. She advised me to have a dental crown for a long-term solution or if it was another filling, the dentist had to make a very thorough job so that the tooth won't break any time soon again. What I love about this dental office is that the dentist and staff did not push me nor try to make me pay for pricy services; instead, they advised me for my best interests. I went to get a second opinion because I have bone loss from an impacted wisdom tooth. The first place told me I needed a bone graft which costed a lot of money. However, Dr. Narek Akopyan assured me that my mouth is healing fine now and will continue to heal naturally on its own so it's not necessary in my case. I had an appointment with Dr. Akopyan on Saturday evening to remove my impacted wisdom teeth. As I used to have a really bad experience with previous surgeon when I removed two teeth on upper jaw, I was super scared at first. Dr. Akopyan explained everything clearly and went through all the aftercare instructions with me while I was numb. He gave me the red goggle to protect my eyes that I've never seen any dentistry I went before did this. He also let me know what he's gonna do, when the drill came in or "crack" sound I expect to hear when the tooth was broken into small section, which made me feel less nervous. My extraction took about 1 hour and I didn't feel painful at all. It might be uncomfortable after but if you follow the aftercare instructions and take the antibiotic you will be fine. With COVID, I was hesitant to schedule a dentist appointment but it was definitely overdue for me. So, my boyfriend and I decided to schedule a dental exam / cleaning. Even with my new dental insurance, scheduling an appointment here was EZ PZ. Our appointments both went safely and smoothly - the facility was extremely clean and safe (masks required!) - with COVID screening questions and a temperature check as well as a hydrogen peroxide and listerine rinse prior to being examined by Dr. Vo. Oops! Forgot to mention - their dental xray machine was SO cool. One of the reasons I dreaded going to the dentist previously was the X-rays because biting down on those little tab/film things was always uncomfortable and almost painful depending which teeth were being xrayed.. the machine they had was so easy, quick, and painless. It was almost (basically) like CT that rotated around you to take the full mouth rads. There are TVs at each station for Netflix to watch while waiting / kinda while getting examined. There was a vacuum sucking thing for any droplets and everybody was wearing appropriate PPE. Dr. Vo examined and cleaned my teeth and I must say it was the most painless teeth cleaning I've ever had. Yet another reason I dislikes the dentist previously was that it was always so painful when I got any dental cleaning/scaling. They didn't polish my teeth this time due to COVID restrictions or something, but my teeth definitely felt so clean afterwards and I have no regrets. I never felt unsafe or uneasy and the process from scheduling this exam to scheduling my next exam in 6 months was effortless. The facility was seriously the best I've ever seen too! PS - I will also add that I was definitely overdue, because I had cavities :( BUT my return appointment for my fillings was definitely not as scary as I remember cavities to be! PPS - I'll be returning in January for their oral surgeon to evaluate my wisdom teeth for removal I guess I'll update my review then too! read more

Dr. Vo is by far one of the best dentist in the area. This is her 2nd office, the other is about 3 miles away also in the Arcadia area. I must admit, I was completely blown away at this new facility. All new State of the Art equipment, the waiting and treatment rooms was spacious and comfortable. Every detail was carefully thought through. Really professional while maintaining uplifting and relaxing chairside manner. The professionalism, cleanliness and friendliness of thee whole team is outstanding. I've been going to her for complicated process (several root canals), caps and cleaning. She is gentle while working on your teeth and that one thing everyone should look for in a dentist. Like most people, I've been reluctant to visit the dentist during this covid era. But as soon as I walked into the office, my concerns were eased.
