Grocery Outlet...bargain market... *Here the jingle on the radio..* Every time I'm at Grocery Outlet, I enjoy it because they play 90s R&B music!! =) Love my BoyzIIMen, Janet Jackson, Jodeci, Shanice, Hi-Five... I am always jamming and singing while I shop. The things I buy the most at Grocery Outlet are snacks and drinks. I despise going to places like Costco *gasp* because some people in the household stop eating whatever it is after the nth bag. The problem with Costco and Sam's club is that you need to consume more. You need to check the expiration dates but it is cool with me if it is expiring in 3 days when I just need some snacks for the weekend... especially for $0.25, $0.50, $0.99 when it usually costs $4.99. (There was one time I bought too many boxes of Annie organic snack bags since the box was $4.99. But they were $13.99 Costco price. So I sold them for $8 to get rid of them when people stopped eating it.) It is very close to Foothill Middle School. When the kids get out of school, you'll see them walking in to buy snacks/drinks. The staff is friendly and patient. Visit for the music...and the deals. Happy shopping!! read more

I just witnessed the owner of this establishment yank a bottle of water out of a homeless man'a hand; unfortunately decided to steal the one bottle of 16 ounces of water on this hundred degree day. I understand and never condone stealing but can you imagine being on the street with nothing and it being this warm and somebody taking back 116 ounce bottle of water out of principle instead of doing the human kind thing and explaining that perhaps that wasn't the best choice but are you hungry? Are you thirsty? What can I do to my fellow human and be kind during these crazy times. Being a business owner myself, I understand the principle of what she did, but I will tell you that it's gonna be a long time that I go back to the store because I do not align with that way of thinking. I find homeless people at my establishment and the first thing I asked them is if they are hungry because I have never known a day of hunger, and I hope to all the good in the world, and there is some good that I never have to feel that need for thirst to be quenched or emptiness in my stomach to be Filled. I am extremely disappointed with this establishment, and I frequent it quite often. read more

Probably the best Grocery Outlet location we've been too in terms of supply. We tend to shop in the Nosh & Organic sections w/ an emphasis on keto item and this place has the most selection. Employees are helpful and it feels a bit more spacious than other locations. Rebel ice cream, Lily's chocolate, Califia almond milk are some of our favorites, but if you see something you like BUY it before its gone. You can't really depend on anything being here the next time you visit so if you live nearby visit often and hope for the best! read more

My favorite grocery outlet in the Pasadena/West SGV area! I have been to 3 other locations and none can compare to this one. They always have the best selection and are always fully stocked up. I always opt to come later in the evening and it's as if I have the entire store to myself, I love it! Service is also good, I've had different checkers everytime I've shopped here and they're always happy to help and really nice! Highly recommend! There are two other locations that are closer to me, but I will always make the drive to this one instead! read more

While I was grabbing my groceries from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive. So many spots for you to choose from. Take your pick. However, beware that some spots are smaller than others. They also share the lot with some other establishments, but it rarely ever gets full. I have a thing for grocery outlets.. they are locally owned, have rare finds for incredible prices .. but this one stood out. The lighting is welcoming, the staff is friendly and the music is always is perfect. I decided to do this review on my second visit because if you wow me twice.. you have a loyal customer. The selection of vegan items is AWESOME! They had impossible meat and a week later beyond burgers !!!! I felt safe shopping there ( can't say the same for other la county grocery outlets) The music stood out in both visits to such an extent that I started dancing. This grocery outlet is ice cream central. Peppermint and cookies and cream , mochi and organic non dairy, whole milk as well as vegan options. The cheese selection was impressive, olive marinated ibererico cheese from Spain for 2.99! As well as organic raw chocolate. The store has a good selection of chips, snacks, jerky and dried fruits and almonds. Their health and beauty selection is quite good as well. Shout out though to Jacob working in the freezer section. He was a polite young man who went out of his way to help without me or his coworker having to ask . I admire his work ethic and the amount of respect he showed me. I like the discount prices and the staff here are always kind. Live Oak is still my favorite store though. But I was sent here specifically to get milk and pies . And they had both for a reasonable price. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood, Grocery Outlet. I work very close to this business, and when I heard Rite Aid was closing (and after enduring the closure of the other anchor tenant grocery store in this shopping center a few years ago), this is a welcome addition to the area. I have visited the "other" new Grocery Outlet on the south side of Arcadia several times and both stores are clean, organized, and well-stocked. This store seems to have double the square footage, and has a few more sections and selections than her smaller cousin on Live Oak. Like all brand new stores, the employees are still getting their bearings and learning SKUs, procedures, and the lay of the land. I asked one young fellow for help and he was eager to provide it. Prices for some items are astronomically low-- the "outlet" part of the equation means you can get items for pennies in the dollar, but the "best by" date might be a couple of months away instead of a year away. So if your kids go through granola bars and pudding cups like mine do, you'll never know the difference. Except in your bank account. Grocery Outlet also has that quirky but affable panache of eclectic items you won't find at your local Vons or Ralph's-- hammocks, garden ornaments, canned dolmas, organic kombucha, monk fruit sugar substitute, or affordable produce... they're all here. Except when they're not... part of the fun of Grocery Outlet is saving money, and the other part is knowing what you find this week may be gone next week and replaced on the shelf with something different. I'm looking forward to taking the short walk at lunchtime to visit this store and see what I can find. read more

Seriously GO, someone teach her some Manners, Respect, Curiosity towards your customers. For the Second time after my purchase I ask her for a bag. She puts my items in my bag, then shoves my bag towards me just for my bag to tip over on it's side as if she don't give a s**t. Was I suppose to catch my bag before it tipped over? Is this how GO train their employees? Says nothing after my purchase, or if she did excuse me. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but your customers shouldn't be disrespected like this. F.Y.I. This is a bargain hunter's paradise. I come here every once in a while to "shake things up a bit," as well as save considerably over the neighboring grocery stores. Granted; you cannot be guaranteed that a particular product will be in stock here; as the store itself is a constantly rotating yet pleasantly organized array of discounted/discontinued speciality goods. Tonight, for example; I left with some yogurt; fresh cherries; frozen chicken; vegetables; olive oil; even a new wallet, all for under $18. (As you can see it's very diverse here.) Two problems - one - the cash register occasionally rings up slightly higher than the currently posted "Sale" price. Also; some of the juice on the shelf looks like it should have been thrown away yesterday. Bathrooms are always clean and available and there is also a nice household goods/pet section. Overall; this store gets a B+ in my book! read more

One star because it was clean. I came to your store this morning eager to see what the new addition to our community was all about. No one greeted me, the table out front was unmanned, more staff than customers and not one spoke to me. I was the only customer in line and had to wait for a cashier to show up. I had already emptied my cart by the time she got to the register. Incredibly poor customer service. Ralph's next door is a friendlier place to shop. read more

I miss the rite aid that was here. It was interesting and convenient to shop there. However. Grocery Outlet is a worthy replacement. There's no coupons, no club to join (that I know of). The prices are the low prices you see. Very clean store and run by a franchise owner. This could explain why this store is better merchandised than the one I saw off of Huntington/66. Kudos to the Veteran Parking. It's always fun especially in their gadgets aisle. They have posts on Facebook be sure to follow them there as well for deals. read more

Not all prices are better than regular grocery stores, and the quality of things are not consistent (the brands here are often not major brands). You will need to know what things currently cost and be update with current discounts at regular grocery stores in order to really get good deals here. read more

Today, I went to this Grocery store #469 I was looking for Chocolate Croissants but they were out. I asked the manger, Claudia if they plan on still carrying it. They were but they are currently out of it at the moment. I then asked if they could call another store to see if they had it. Claudia was kind enough to call store #309. She was professional and called for me. She asked person on the phone and they were rude to her and said they don't and call ended. We were shocked of that rudeness and unprofessional employee. I told Claudia not to worry. I will go to see if they really don't have it. I thanked Claudia for her above and beyond customer service and professional courtesy. I left her store to go to store # 309 and yes, they had plenty of chocolate croissants, i purchased 3 boxes for a family event. But I will never go to this store again. Store #469 should be recognized for their professional employees and clean store. I will return to shop here. Claudia and her team really make this store a friendly place to shop. Was sad that Rite-aid closed, only to see another grocery store opening up. Went in to grab a few things and to check out the store and what they offer. I was shocked how affordable their prices are. I walked away with two bags of groceries and paid half of what I would pay at Ralph's (across the street) or Trader Joe's. I'm not saying I'll be doing all my shopping there, because I'm a huge TJ fan, but I will be coming more often and grabbing things I would normally grab at Ralph's. read more

This is my favorite store to come to. I came here to do some grocery shopping the other day and a very helpful lad, Devin happily helped me find anything I needed. The managers are always super friendly and everyone here is always so helpful. There's always speedy checkouts here so don't worry if you're ever in a rush anywhere.
